Ring Suzune's Story

A voice. A song. A soft mournful melody sounded through the darkness of Ring's consciousness. Who was it? Ring's eyes opened slowly. The glass cover of her containment capsule was open and her bright yellow eyes blinked twice before they flashed back to the normal blue color. "Wh-where am I?" Ring sat up and looked around. She was in the lab, and that was mostly what she could remember. Didn't I wake up earlier? RIng's eyes suddenly met red. Red? It was a girl. Was she the one who was singing? She hadn't seen her before. Was she a Vocaloid as well? Ring's blue gaze shot the ground, embarrassed that she was staring. At least she didn't catch her. Ring was about to slip silently off her capsule and slip away but the girl suddenly turned around to face her.

"Why hello there! It seems like your awake finally." The girl gave her a bright smile and Ring shrunk back not knowing what to say. "What's wrong? Did I say something? Oh, I'm Cul by the way. I'm a Vocaloid like you." Cul. So that was her name. "I-I'm Ring." Those were the only words she could manage to say. Meeting someone new didn't come easy to her. She just wanted to find the others. Where was Lui? She really wanted to see him.

Somewhere In Japan

"Yea, our doo-"

Neru stopped short as she suddenly realized what Zero had said. Was he implying that "what's your's is mine and what's mine is your's" saying? She didn't mind but wasn't that a bit to early? Blood rushed to her face and she blushed, taking her chin off of Zero and turning back into her room- no wait..... THEIR room.

"Baka..."

The idea of breakfast was extremely appealing at that moment and Neru quickly grabbed a brush from her dresser and began to brush the tangles out of her hair. She winced as the brush got caught a few times. It was a pain to brush her hair. It took way to long and it hurt. It was way to much. Cutting it would be so much easier and she decided that tomorrow she was going out to get a hair cut. Now she was going to have to pick a song. What should she sing? Was she even going to be on stage that much? 'Oh great. I'm thinking about this again.' Not having a voice of her own sucked.


Scientist's Lab

"It's nice to meet you, Hibiki-san. I'm Cul!" Cul grinned at Lui and she saw how Ring lightened up when she saw him.

The moment Ring saw Lui, her heart jumped and a bright smile spread across her face. Something deep inside her stirred and she clenched her fists. 'Crap! Not now! Go away!' She couldn't help it. Seeing Lui made her emotions break loose. Her hair color literally melted to a pure white and her eyes flashed yellow once again. Springing towards the boy, Ring gave him a huge hug, squeezing him to death.

"LUI!!!! Where have you been!? I missed you!!" Ring set the boy down and gave him a wink. "Your so cute! I just wanna touch you all over!"

Ring began to squeeze the poor vocaloid's cheeks while coming up behind him to nip his ear. Deep in her conciousness Ring couldn't believe what she was doing. 'What are you doing??? Stop! Thats embarrasing!' Another voice sounded in her head. 'Come on, hun! I was just having a little fun with pretty boy here! I just can't get enough of him!'

Ring strained to keep her 'other self' under control and finally it backed down. Her hair and eyes turned back to their blue color and she backed away from Lui, her face was so red that it literally looked like it was covered with red paint. Trembling with embarrasment, Ring looked to the floor not knowing what to say. "S-sorry...."

Somewhere In Japan
Everything. That sounded nice. She felt like she had given her heart to him that very moment. Wait- what was she saying, he already had it. Neru quickly grabbed a yellow sports jacket out of her closet and walked out of her room with Zero behind her. Did she want to eat with them. It was already almost noon and they had probably finished up already.

"I don't suppose you of all people would want to eat breakfast with all your sweet vocaloid brothers and sisters eh? I'm sure they love the clothing, I know I do." Zero spoke up.

Neru shrugged. "I think they're almost done. I don't really feel like eating with them anyway." She figited with her skirt as she walked. "I don't wear this kind of clothing often. Thanks."

"Or... We could just, go out... I'm starving, and I only- Eh... I only... See- One thing to eat right now." Zero mumbled.

Wait..... Did he just imply that he wanted to..... eat her? The way Zero mumbled and stuttered meant that that wasn't probably the way he wanted it to come out. The wierd image of Neru shish kabobs popped into her mind. That probably wasn't what he meant, but Neru giggled and played along with it.

"Well, I'm not sure how good I'd taste. Are you sure you want to try?" Neru suddenly slapped her hand over her mouth.

Giggled..... When was the last time anyone made her giggle? She never giggled. What was this?


Scientist's Lab

Ring nodded shyly and her gaze was still glued to the floor. "Yeah, me too." She took Lui's hand in her and squeezed it tightly. She really was happy to see him.

Cul stepped up and looked around. "Hey, aren't there supposed to be more of us? Where's everyone else?"

Ring nodded again and looked at Lui, confused. "Yes. Has everyone else left besides us?"

Scientist's Lab

Ring nodded shyly and her gaze was still glued to the floor. "Yeah, me too." She took Lui's hand in her and squeezed it tightly. She really was happy to see him.

Cul stepped up and looked around. "Hey, aren't there supposed to be more of us? Where's everyone else?"

Ring nodded again and looked at Lui, confused. "Yes. Has everyone else left besides us?"

It was a bit strange that the two of them woke up later than everyone else. Where was everyone? Cul was itching to get moving. This place looked pretty huge and she couldn't wait to see what await them outside. What did the outside world look like? She was ready to share her voice to the world.

(Ok... Since we're staring again, I'm gonna post at where I left off since Lui still hasn't answered Cul's question.)
