James blinked several times. Her voice... Damn. He tried his hardest at resisting, but it was like trying to stop water from flowing from your fingers. You can never stop it from leaking out... He relaxed. Why not? Its not like she was going to hurt him, she said she was looking for someone. And if the captain was told, then she'd be forced to get off of the ship, and that doesn't sound good, for some reason.

Maxwell gave a nod. "Alright." he assured her. "However, Uther and I will be keeping an eye on you-" He was cut off when they heard the captain's footsteps coming down the stairs. "The captain's coming." he whispered. "Everyone, act natural."

Natural? Heh, the captain would be confused if he saw James and Max hanging out all of a sudden. Why would the spoilt rich kid hang out with the big dumb bully without them not hating each other more? James grunted. "I'll see you later, I won't tell." He said, turning towards the opposite of where the captain was coming and walking off, putting the pistol away. "See you around." He said, walking off towards the crew's quarters.
