Charming, talented, and persuasive, Leonardo is pegged as a womanizer in his work place, as well as out. He likes to play with words and often times, causes trouble by doing it. Not on himself, per se, but on others. Leonardo prides himself of his persuasive and charming personality to coax people into doing things for him. As such, he is the most successful Public Relations Head of Komatech Inc. As the head of the Public Relations Office, he is tasked to appease any troubled partners of the company, as well as persuade probable partners to invest in the company. As well, he is often times called the poster boy for the company because of his constant appearances in public as the spokesperson of Komatech Inc.
Not surprisingly, Leonardo has been gifted the power of Mind Control. His powers help him with his every conquest, for work and play alike. Utilizing his abilities, he controls the whims of partners of the company to either invest more or sell their shares to other people who had more resources that the company could use. Of course, the CEO of Komatech Inc knows this and specifically placed Leonardo in his position. Leonardo has never yet failed in any of his duties as Public Relations Head.
Although most people would think that Leonardo would use his powers on women, he never actually done it before. He believes it to be a taboo to use his powers to enslave people and make them do things that is considered lawfully wrong. His charm and talent usually works well with women, but if it doesn't he usually backs off. But when it comes to work, he would do anything to succeed, even if it was to control the mind of somebody for the greater good of Komatech.
Personality: Leonardo Lafontaine can be considered as a womanizer, but at the same time a goody two shoes. He believes that doing the right thing is always the key, but does what he must for the greater good of the company he works for, Komatech Inc. Leonardo can be pegged as a confident person who strives to become successful in everything. Of course, this sometimes blinds him of the fact that he might be hurting someone. Although almost always exhuming with confidence, Leonardo does get frustrated at times, but very rarely. He has a long patience for things and people, knowing the fact that nobody is perfect. But that patience is also paired with his anger problems. When he gets mad, he unleashes his power vehemently and often times causes destruction.
History: As a kid, Leonardo suffered from anxiety. Since his family immigrated from France to Canada, Leonardo was friendless for a time. But shortly after going into Secondary School, his life changed. He joined the swim team and got accepted for his agile body, which gave him the opportunity to befriend people of his age group. This was where he had met his first girlfriend, Janneth. Janneth was a swimmer as well and they both hit it off pretty good. But even with his friends, Leonardo still was not the cool and confident man he was today, instead he was shy and a little bit timid. This didn't work well for him when he was in grade ten. This was the time when his girlfriend had broken up with him for the basketball team captain, who was the cool and confident that Leonardo wasn't. This broke Leonardo's heart and he vowed, from that day forward, that he would do everything he can to emulate that captain. If he was like that, then he could never be pushed to the side by anyone
In college, Leonardo was starting to show the qualities he had now. but, he was still new to this new side of him, thus making him a little bit uncomfortable when girls would talk to him. This was the time when he met anotehr girl named Samantha. Samantha saw Leonardo and they immediately fell in love. For three years, the couple enjoyed each others company, only for Samantha to break it off after the fourth year, saying Leonardo still had problems that she just couldn't handle. This caused Leonardo to shut down and almost kill himself., since he didn't know what his problems were.
A year later found him in a Psychiatrists Office. There he discovered his problem, which was his inability to accept who he truly was. According to the Psychiatrist, his problem stemmed from his inability to accept himself as himself, instead trying to play a role that wasn't him. Leonardo pondered this and had started to get more hours with the doctor. A year later saw Leonardo fully accepting who he was and starting anew. Since he had dropped out after his break up with Samantha, he went back into school and finished his Business degree. After which, he started working in Komatech Inc.
Accepting himself as who he was changed Leonardo's life. He was now the true cool, calm, and collected man that he was meant to be. Although his confidence may sometimes be too much that it made poeple feel self-conscious. This was one of the reasons why Leonardo was still friendless. Oh yes, he had friends, but he had never made a real connection with somebody. His personality seemed to strong to handle by most and the only one who he had actually stricken a great conversation with was the CEO of Komatech Inc.
Confidence is key when you want something. If you are doubting yourself, or what you are doing, you will never succeed.
