Arige Jeheir

a character in “War of Azeroth”, as played by Arige

Description

Name: Arige Jeheir

Race: Human

Age: 23

Magic: Arige uses a rare magic that has long been lost to humans, only the Touel’alfar (Elves) still knew of its existence. This magic is called Shys'm os shorys in the Elvin tongue, but in English it is pronounced “word’s of wisdom”. Shys'm os shorys is a form of magic that has no true limits, it depends on the strength of the person wielding the words. Shys'm os shorys has many different types of magic words, for example, Pyro is the first words in a fire/flame spell. That is just one of the many different forms of Shys'm os shorys. However though, you can only cast a spell using Shys'm os shorys if you know both the words to the spell, and the meaning of the words.

Skills/Professions: Hunting, tracking, archery, swordsmanship, horseback riding, scouting, stealth. (That is all I can really think of right now,)

Description of character: Arige Jeheir stands at 6’’1, with olive green eyes, brown hair that comes down to his mid-neck, but is neatly trimmed. Arige has a scar all the way down the left side of his face. Arige weighs almost two-hundred pounds, and all of that is muscle.

Personality: Arige is a calm and caring person that always puts the lives of others before his own. Arige is a strong leader, and is very charismatic.

Some history: Arige lived in one of the smaller villages that was know as Dundalis, one of the few Cathalon kingdoms “frontier” villages that were near the boarder of Duran. Arige lived there with his father (Oradin), and his mother (Jilsephine). The village was not large nor did it have many inhabitants, the total number of men, women, and children that live there was only about two score (one score is twenty). About a month after Arige’s twelfth birthday, Dundalis was attacked by a group of Goblins that out numbered the villagers three to one, but that was not all that attacked the village. The Goblins were accompanied by two Ogres. The villagers fought back as hard as they could, fighting well at first but then soon getting overwhelmed by the shear number of Goblins. The village was burned down, and all the villages were either slain or taken captive. All except for one, Arige, his father had hid him under the stone foundation that he had built under his house. Arige awoke the next morning, or what he thought to be the next day. His chest was burning from all of the smoke that had crept under and through the stones. Arige pulled himself out from under the remains of his house and saw the charred body of a woman pinned to the grown by a support beam. Arige burst into tears when he saw that the corpse was that of his mothers and ran to her remains. Arige stayed there all through the rest of the day and that night holding on to his dear mother. Finally when morning came Arige decided to bury his mother and then look for his father, but by the looks of the rest of the village and the corpses of the people that had lived there Arige thought it all the more likely that he would find his fathers corpse. After Arige dug his mother’s grave outside the village with a spade that he had taken from the corpse of a man that he had known before the raid, he buried his mother and began looking for his father. After searching through the remains of the village, Arige could find no signs of his father, or sixteen of the other villages for that matter. Arige had always heard stories around the hearth at the common building about monsters that would take prisoners to work as their slaves before they would eat them. Arige’s mind raced as he thought of his father being held prisoner. Arige grabbed a club from the ground that someone or one of the Goblins must have dropped during the fight, and began walking in the direction of the Goblin and Ogre footprints. (More of this story will be told later on in the RP.)

Equipment or other object/pets: Arige has four small throwing knifes on his left arm, a bow and quiver with seven arrows, his sword which is named “Tridals” (More will come about that later), a pack that is under his cloak where he keeps a small blanket, and some food scraps, a water pouch is currently tied to the side of the pack with a single strip of leather, his armour, most of which you can see.

Arige has taken it upon himself to guard the other frontier villages from all the evil creatures of the land.
