Equipment: Ren isn't a warrior at the most, more or less a fighter. He is actually a doctor, so he would carry the things he brought with him when he came to Relm. The minimum- A first aid kit, a knife, and some stitches were what he was carrying, and he owned a pistol, since he lived in the United States.

Powers: Ren's knowledge is what gives him his "power". Being a highly skilled surgeon and doctor at most, he was thought to have the "Magic Touch" or something of the sort. None of the patients he operated on usually died,and the ones that did were the ones with the most fatal injuries. If an arrow came through and hit your heart, Ren would be able to heal that, but if it punctured a spine or a complex body part, you would be a lost cause. Also, Ren was the one in his wing experimenting and administrating the drugs and enhancers, such as morphine or certain steroids or useful "viruses". Other than that, humans don't really have many superpowers.

Personality: Ren is a quiet, but extremely amiable man, especially when it comes to sexy ladies. Mistaken for a pervert, females usually ridicule him for just happening to "pass by" and look at a lady. As a doctor, Ren heals people, on his side AND on the enemy's side. He never, ever turns down a patient unless there is absolutely no chance of success. He is afraid of letting people die, especially if he is operating on them. When it does happen, he goes into a state of emotional trauma after a short while.

History: Ren Young Ming (Actual name: Young Ming Kyung)was born to a Korean father, and a Japanese mother. He lived in the Japanese farmland, a desolate place for a future doctor. As he grew up, he took a liking to geography, and he studied Geography for many years, until one day, his friend Kazami fell into the river. Ren, (who was Kyung at the time) didn't know very much about any sort of medical practice, and when Kazami was fished out of the river, Ren had to do mouth-to-mouth CPR to save the waterlogged boy. After that, he studied medicine for a long time, thinking it would help more in the long run than geography would.

When he grew up to move independently, he left for the US. Unfortunately, Ren's mother died of a stroke 22 hours after Ren left, and his father hung himself out of grief a day later. To get all this news, Ren was horrified, and actually didn't talk to a single classmate for two years in college. On the third year, he met a girl named Rumi, who seemed to like him. She wondered what troubled Ren, and she decided to try and cheer him up. She got a bunch of people to start a party for him, and they said it was his first birthday. He asked: "Why?" and they replied: "Because from this day forward, you will put your grief away, and be born a new person! Not Kyung, but Ren!" That's how he got the name, and it also helped form his personality. He made the resolve, and took the opportunity to become a great doctor. But when Ren was driving back home two years later from an science exhibition, he saw a flash of azure blue, and his car crashed into the gutter. That's when he woke up in a new world. The only things he had were a pistol, the drugs he made at the exhibition, a lab coat (with typical medical supplies) and a sandwich. Of course, he was frightened, and he definitely didn't know squat about the Divines at all...

Other: Ren purposely let his hair grow a little long, because it's what Rumi wanted for her birthday. She thought it made him look cool with glasses.
