Kennedy sighed again growing annoyed as she watched the ounces argue amongst each other. The one who had threatened her sister was now yelling again at who she assumed was his older brother. She really didn't have time for all of this bickering. Kennedy smiled as the one pointed to the her and was complaining or something about how she killed all the guards. She looked at Claire before turning back to the boys once more.
"Okay all of you need to stop arguing! I am growing angry and you don't want to see me angry. My sister and I are Watchers, as I'm sure you hve figured out, and we don't want to hurt you. However if you hurt either of us I will kill you, as you can see I'm quite good at be silent ad deadly. Second if you seriously think we are going to let you take us then you are going to be very disappointed. Now I would choose your next words very carefully, I wouldn't want you to get burned." Kennedy grinned evilly as she flared up a ball of fire and played with it her eyes gleaming threateningly in the soft orange glow.

Claire stared at the boy who held her against the tree, annoyed with him. As Kennedy began to play with her fire Claire gave a wicked yet beautiful smile as she would have her hand slowly move her mouth as she whistled the area around them became darker and cold as giant shadows crept up behind her. She looked at her sister with a look of saddness that she said we don't want to hurt them. Claire wanted to hurt them alright ecspecially the one that annoys her to no end. she looked back at the two that were standing there not saying a word. She wondered why these humans were not bothered but earlier events.
"Father will be fine, Liam. You can't just rush in without knowing what you're up against, otherwise..." He swallowed and stared at his men on the ground. When he returned his gaze back to the two girls, one was playing with fire while the other, he assumed, was making the surrounding area cold and dark. So that's their game...
"So, you command fire, and you command things dark and cold. Interesting... but a terrible combination for fighting together. Sure, against multiple enemies your powers may effectively take out the lot. But against one enemy, your powers counter act with each other and make one another more vulnerable. You can't attack together, because her fire would devastate you, and your ice would incapacitate her. Your powers also play to your opponent's advantage. For lets say you shoot fire at me and I use some sort of metal that's tempered to handle heat much more effectively... you just super charged my weapon against your sister. With enough speed and quick enough reactions, taking on the two of you alone is child's play. So, why don't the two of you just come back with us and answer a few questions?"
In truth, Sebastian's assessment was very true. Any sort of area attack by either sister would prove hazardous to the other sister, so they would have to rely on target attacks and head on attacks. Sebastian could easily dodge target attacks, and the hand to hand attacks wouldn't be too difficult to handle. All he had to do was wear them down and count on Liam to get his back in case he slipped.

Claire smirked at the man talking as she thought (he acts like we haven't been out in the woos our whole life and don't practice..) her shadows created along side th three men. One false move and they would be caught. Claire became angry with him acting like they wouldn't do us any harm if we went back with them. We aren't test subjects to mere humans. This thought sadden her as she thought of her parents. She stood soon side her sister as she looked at her trying to control her anger. Only Kennedy knew how Claire got when she was emotional.

Dax was quite literally fighting the urge to bash his head against the tree. He knew his brothers were intelligent, but right now, they were just being idiots. He looked at the shadow created alongside him curiously.
He glanced at the girl carefully to see if she was watching before scrutinizing the shadow, trying to touch it, trying to figure out ways she could use it against them. If they used these kinds of shadows as spies, they could get so much more accomplished, and more intimate knowledge of the people who plotted against the kingdom.
"How do these work? Can you cast them far away from you? Can they be independent of you?" He asked rapid-fire, his eyes not leaving the shadow, hoping that the girl wouldn't get angry or upset and attack him. He was sure that she could deal some serious damage, but these shadows had the potential to be great.

Claire loosened up a bit as she felt her sisters hand on her shoulder. Her shadows became smaller as she looked back at the temper headed boy and stared at him with curious eyes and an sly smile. She wanted these men out of her forest as much as Kennedy but she was curious as to why such handsome man were so evil and would want to harm someone who has been hiding from centuries. She leaned in a whispered to Kennedy "I don't think they will leave, maybe I should go get Will before we do something we will regret." she looked at Kennedy with concerned eyes.

After being silent for so long, he let out an exaggerated sigh, "We do not wish to kill you. If we did I would have slit little Missy's throat when I had the chance," He said bluntly, no matter how true. He could have slit that girl's throat if he's followed through on the thrust, but their goal was not to kill this time.
"And what we want, is to finally learn about the people in the trees, also known as Watchers, so we can figure out if a traveling villager or peasant will be in harms way if they want to leave. And the fact that you're always hiding and killing our people does not make you seem very friendly. We tried friendly at first, and they came back maimed.
Well, at least that's my goal. Don't know about number one and two here." Liam concluded, making sure to talk slower then Sebastian. He always talked too fast.
Liam, who was getting extremely annoyed, made a little hand gesture at the two girl saying it was their turn to speak. He knew that they would never leave their forest, that was obvious. So the best they'd get for questioning was out here where that actually felt comfortable.
Liam looked at his brothers. Dax looked ready to kill himself and Sebastian had no expression on his face.

She replied softly as her shadows faded and the air turned warm again "we have never killed any villagers. You're the first one I have wanted to kill. It's your kind that threatens us and runs in fear." She said in a soft, sweet voice.
Sebastian had been sitting quietly, listening to everyone speak. He would have interjected when the girl said they wanted kill her and the watchers, but decided not to in order to avoid provocation, and then afterwards, Liam beat him to it. But, Liam was right. The girls weren't going to come with them, not peacefully. And even in captivity, they probably wouldn't be cooperative.

Claire looked at the man "I don't know who it is, the only thing I do is steal the stuff that's on them when we find the bodies they have no use for it." She said calmly "so maybe you guys should leave and find the real problem" she said as she jumped into the tree out of sight
Kennedy watched patiently as her sister talked to the boys and everything. She wasn't sure who was killing the people but she knew for a fact it want any of her people. "My sister is right, neither of us nor any of our people have killed any of your kind. I mean we just steal their stuff and then leave them. I will hve to talk to my brother when I return. Now if you kind and handsome gentlemen would kindly leave us in peace. Unless you want to discuss this matter further in which I suggest we take it to a safer location."

Dax blinked slowly as the conversation took on an entirely different turn. So, these girls weren't responsible for the deaths, but they took what they needed from the corpses.
The people that ended up dead were killed by someone--or something--else.
"Do you have any clues about what it could be?" He asked the girls curiously. It could be a band of rogue humans--but these people were just killed. Not eaten or robbed. There was no reasonable justification for it...as of yet.

"Honestly, we have no idea as to what it could be. A group of rogue humans could be responsible but I'm not sure. We would e willing to help you figure it out though using whatever means we can provide." Kennedy smiled charmingly as she looked between the three princes in front of her. If they all worked together then hopefully they could find out who was killing humans and stop ten before it got even worse.

Liam looked between the two females and eventually sighed.
"Yeah, you'll help. But you want something in return don't you?" Liam said more then asked. He knew people usually would want something in return for their services, so it wouldn't surprise him if they did too.
His facial expression had softened after figuring out they were telling the truth. Yeah, the Watchers weren't the only ones who could read people.
But even if it'd softened, he still didn't trust them. Not in the least.
He just wanted to solve this mystery and go home. But he had a feeling that, that wouldn't happen for awhile.

"Whoa. Who said anything about helping them? Their humans" Claire fell from the tree hanging upside down giving a face of disgust. "Not to mention they are rude and ten mintues ago wanted to take us in for questioning. I don't think we should help them Kennedy." She looked at the boys with evil eyes. "Go away."

Dax nodded, processing Kennedy's information. "The thing that makes me wonder is that you say that you take things from the dead bodies. I highly doubt it's an animal if the only thing that happens to them is that they are killed, and I also doubt that it's a renegade band of humans, as I'd expect them to be attacking so they can rob the dead."
Liam did raise a good point, though. The girls would want something in return, but as long as the price wouldn't be too steep it would be fair. The girls and their powers could be incredibly useful as they tried to unravel this mystery.

Liam decided to ignore Dax and confront the annoying brown haired girl.
"Says the girl who threw a ball of ice at my head! Don't you consider that rude?!" Liam stated angerly, "And I do not intend on leaving this forest without some sort of lead, thank you very much."
He was getting angry, and fast. He sucked in some air through his nose and let it out through his mouth. "And since when did it matter if we were humans? You look pretty human to me, just add all the freaky powers. If you didn't have those, I guarantee I would be able to kill/beat you in under ten seconds flat. Same with both my brothers."

Claire looked at the annoying boy "I don't find it rude at all what I find rude is how you and your men decide to barg in here like it no problem. And if we look so human then why does everyone in your kingdom think different we were forced to hide?" She said with a sad tone in her voice. She jumped down from the tree "well I'm not helping you so good luck with your lead fellas" she looked at Kennedy with a sad look and started to walk off.

"Why everyone thinks differently is because they are idiots. But no one is forcing you to hide. You've been gone for over a hundred years, everyone thinks you're a myth." Liam says. He has no problem insulting his own people. Dax and Sebastian know this all too well.
He noticed how the brown haired girl was trying to guilt trip her sister into coming with her, but decided against saying anything about it. 'cause that would probably only make things worse.
Kennedy sighed as she listened to the three boys and her sister. She had no idea what to do in regards to this whole situation. She waited until everyone had stopped talking before taking a deep breath. "Claire, wait a minute. Okay guys here's how this is going to work, I will help you in any way that I can as long as you promise to go to your father and tell him the truth about us. We are not as human as we appear, you see, we are technically human in that we age and die as you do but we are faster and stronger and more powerful than the average human. It also takes a lot more than just a stab wound to kill us. So yes we are human but at the same time we are not. So, now that we have established the fact the Claire and I are superhumans can we go find the person or whatever that has been killing the people?! I would really like to be home for bed tonight." Kennedy smiled sweetly as she looked each guy in the eyes.

Claire paused and turned around in response to her sister. She stood there and watched her talk, her eyes becoming wide as she heard her sister say she would help. "What? Are you crazy? We can't help them! They have done nothing for us for hundreds of years! Will is not going to like the Kennedy and I don't think we can trust them. especially Mr. Temper over there." Claire moved her eyes quickly at the annoying boy. "It is not a good idea. We should just leave them to take care of their own problem we aren't killing them and its not our people so blah!" Claire said in a cold tone becoming angry.

"Okay, one: We have not done one thing for you in hundreds of years, because last time I checked none of us were born hundereds of years. Two: You and your people have been hiding which has led our people to believe you were a myth. Three: If we had helped you in some sort of way, way-back-when, then I highly doubt you would exist.
Oh, and trust me. I don't trust you either Miss Sassy Ass. I'm only following orders." Liam says, giving a fake smile. He seriously was starting to hate his job. And he never hated his job.
