*Power: Whether or not this is linked to how he died, Derek now has the ability to control electricity. And thanks to some experimentation with this power, he is able to trigger nerves and muscles in other people, ranging from involuntary flinching to excruciating pain, although the latter would only be used as a last resort.
*Skills: Derek is rather adept when it comes to acting, be it on the stage or simply throwing in a mock overreaction during conversation. He can also raise his voice loud enough to quell an argument or even provide a distraction, should the need arise.
*Brief History: Despite Derek’s life being largely uneventful, he lived it to the fullest. There were indeed a few noteworthy achievements he had made, such as overcoming his stage fright by attending a drama club at the age of 15. Even his death was somewhat mundane; electrocution from trying to repair a broken fuse box. To this day, Derek looks back upon this moment with a mixture of bemused acceptance and the nagging feeling that he should have called for an electrician instead.
