New Planet

(I hate to interrupt the rp for this, but since you're not answering my query at the OOC topic: Are you aware this RP is pending closure, presumably because you're breaking the rules?)

Retsu merely inclined her head, not wanting to voice her opinion on what the girl said.

"Maybe...", she paused.

"Seeing how you were together with your friends at the time, are they here too?"

Retsu did not quite believe that first statement, but decided to keep quiet about it. Maybe the girl would let some more slip in the future? She decided to sum what she heard up in her heard.

- This is a Pocket Universe.
- Mutants from a nearby planet/moon roam this place
- This planet is destroyed

The first, she could believe. The second would explain the twisted life forms she sensed, but she took the third with a grain of salt. So far she had seen nothing that signified actual destruction. Depopulation, yes. But it being destroyed? No.

The world was both physically and meta-physically intact. This she knew for a fact.

The magic she learned on Earth might not work, but that didn't mean magic was impossible at all. This signified that at least meta-physically, the world was fine. And, as there were evidently no disturbances in the flow or an imbalance of nature, she could infer that the world was physically whole too.

As for destroying a planet? Well there were multiple ways.
- One could literally break it, destroying nature and making the planet uninhabitable as it strayed from it's orbit around the sun.
- One could tunnel down to the core of the planet, and remove the source of magic, and therefore life, turning it into a dead rock before long.

These were the two that were at the forefront of her mind.

She didn't bother to vocalize this, as she knew Miss Alexander would have heard anyway.

"Well, if the tower stood out to you, it might be a good place." Retsu answered, "But remember, while it might be easily defendable, it will be harder to escape too, if it ever came to that. If there really are hostile mutants on the planet..."

She let the rest go unsaid.

Retsu wondered if Ms. Alexander had really heard what she said.

"I'm not saying we should not go there, but so far you haven't given any inclination that you can fight in case it's needed. It's why I asked you to stay behind me, so that I can take the brunt if the other party really is hostile. I don't know about your culture, but to me you are a child. You deserve to be kept out of harm's way as much as is reasonably possible without infringing on your boundaries."

The magic user smiled wanly, having a lot more to say than she actually did, but not wanting to come over as overbearing.

"Shall we go then?"

She began walking towards the crash site, expecting the girl behind her to follow.

Retsu nodded to Ms. Alex, and filed what Tess had said away. She almost pulled a face, as there was a term she had heard before somewhere, but she just couldn't find what it was.

"Yep. To both."
