"Im....not sure" Alexander stood still, hearing every little bug scurry, every wing flap of the owls. He shifted around in circles as if following something unseen, but not unheard.
"Wow..I can hear everything.."

Alexander winced greatly as the light poured in like a never ending torrent. His pupils dilated radically to adjust quickly. She was right, the light was now irritating to him. Nevertheless, he listened to her as she spoke.
"Yeah, I see now why your father always seemed like he was in a foul mood when he had to be awakened during the day." Alexander lifted his arm to block some of the light out from his vision. "It will be much to adjust to, but I will do my best to be back in duty as soon as I am able--er, I'm not a guard anymore that's right." He looked down, no longer knowing what he was but as he continued to listen his eyes lifted sharply to Rosalia's face.
"No change, physical or mental, will ever make my love for you change. It is as unswerving as the constant day into night."

Rosalia's hair fell slightly into her face. She soothed out her white dress and stood. She walked into his arms and sighed. "No matter how you have changed, you are still the same Alexander I fell in love with many years ago and agreed to be my prince."

"It was certainly an honor to be bestowed upon, to be a guard. Though not many knights would admit it, because all they see is fantastic tales of valor. All I seemed to see was bloodshed. Discord amongst the peoples of the kingdoms. When I became a knight, it was to protect. Protect the peace, protect the people, protect my king. I was glad to be home after such killing. I had been reassigned, redirected is what I liked to say as a guard. As your guard. I remember the first day I met you for the first time up close. I swore myself, that I would not lay eyes upon lest I be bewitched by your charms. How wonderfully clumsy a creature I was back then, because, here I am. Now, in this beautiful place with you no less."

He looked her over, stepping in a slow, methodical circle. Coming back around her front, he stopped, and placed his hands on his hips. A puzzling expression over took his face. He then rubbed his chin, and lifted his head. "I don't think you look any older than when I met you. You look as beautiful as ever."

He felt her arms coil themselves lovingly around his neck, his hands lifting automatically; fingers sweeping along her satin skin. Nails dragging backwards, smoothly, and then retracing their fluidic motion leaving light scratches as he was unaccustomed to his longer nails yet but they wouldn't bother any more. Instead, when she leaned to kiss him, and he leaned forwards his lip embraced hers. They were different, more expressive now that he wasn't just a mere human any more. Dotingly, he would absolve her fears of ever not being loved by him with the kiss and as she left him he turned and watched her take a seat upon the bed.

He chuckled softly, laying on the bed next to her, looking up at the sheer bed fabric that covered the four poster bed. When she asked the question, he tried to formulate the words, condense it somehow but it couldn't be condensed--contained within a few sentences.
"Rosalia...you ever stop to think why the day turns into night, or night turns into day? No...I suppose you wouldn't, when it feel's so natural. You ever question why flowers bloom towards the suns nourishing rays? Or why when the powder from a butterflies wings is erased it can no longer take flight? That's how much I love you. Because no matter how much I am drained or how in the dark I am, I can feel you close...like you are right there, holding my hand. You are my nourishment, my rays of sunshine that bring forth the growth of my prosperity."

Rosalia curled up next to him, resting her head on his chest and making them be closer. And with a small sigh she tilted her head up and kissed him again, with more force than her last one, and then smiled. She took a breathe and let it out slowly, thinking about the day so far. "Alexander, I must see my brother." She softly breathed.
"Yes, perhaps you should. I feel terrible to have overrode his pride like that. I merely wanted to end it quickly, but he was a very surprising swordsman and that sword he wields...Even when I wasn't a vampire, I felt an insane amount of blood lust, I could only imagine what he was feeling. Another thing, I know how it works though. His power I mean. His power by itself is impressive, but that sword-the more blood he sheds, the stronger enhanced his abilities become. There is a near limitless extent to just how strong he can get. But...I'm not sure what MY ability is yet. Your father gave me a sword that he himself treasured, but that doesn't it make it my vampiric ability. "

"Brayan...." She whispered as she went to stand by his head.

A deep raspy breathing came from the covered bed of the prince. Bandages were almost ceremoniously coiled around his body, particularly his scalp. Though his regenerative powers, an advantage to being fully vampire, his abilities were extensive. His father's sword having caused considerable havoc. Nevertheless, one eye remained unbandaged, and its lids shot open and rolled around in its socket until it moved towards Rosalia's location.
