a character in “When Worlds Collide: Crossover Madness!”, as played by Xartarin

Description

Paper Bag Man wears gray sweat pants and a soft gray shirt to match. He wears tennis shoes and generally looks like an out-of-shape person trying to work out. His iconic bag is a brown, large, plain shopping bag with eyeholes cut in it.

Genere wears an open black trenchcoat and blue-tinted goggles over his eyes. He has a black bulletproof vest and black cargo pants (also bulletproof). His shoes are large black boots. He very much likes the color black, since it is a very evil color. Has white hair and black fingerless gloves.

May draw pictures for this space later.

Personality

Paper Bag Man is calm and reserved, and sounds very tired of his work. He is often dry and sarcastic, showing weariness and a long experience of working as a superhero. He treats it like an annoying business and is clearly not very creative.

Genere is EEEEEEVIL. Genere takes very much pride in being a supervillain, and aspires to be the greatest of the great in the realm of villainy. He has no life, and devotes most of his time to scheming and evil deeds. Sneers, makes jokes at heroes and is typically overconfident.

Equipment

Paper Bag Man:

  • Spy watch: One of the first things he made for himself after adopting his superhero identity. The watch picks up police chatter, news stories, cell phones, walkie-talkies, Twitter, has a GPS, a grappling hook shooting thingy, a freeze ray, and a defrost ray. It can also measure his heart rate, turn him invisible for stealthiness, and provide a force field that can absorb a few hits and lasts a short time (a real battery eater). Black and bulky.
  • Super shoes: The faster you run, the more you stay fit, right? Paper Bag Man built tennis shoes that allow him to run, jump, and kick faster/higher/harder than a normal human. Makes Mario sound effects when used to jump on someone's head. (WARNING: Does not actually improve your fitness more than regular running.)
  • Paper Bag: Not your ordinary paper or plastic. His paper bag is equipped with infra red vision, a gas filter, and PBM can rapidly pull it down over his body in a cartoonish fashion to change into a disguise.

Genere:
  • Bulletproof vest/pants: Proves bullets.
  • Stun Ray Gun: Like a stun gun, only it's a gun that actually fires green bolts of electricity at people to immobilize them. Carried in his pocket, and he usually has the safety on so he doesn't accidentally fry his cojones.
  • Jet Boots: Good for short bursts. Any longer will cause them to violently explode for no reason.
  • Walkie-Talkie OF DOOM: Used to communicate to employees. The "OF DOOM" must be added whenever it is mentioned by name.
  • Sonic Scrambler: A device attached to his palms that emit a horrible noise that stuns enemies. Special ear plugs block out the noise.
  • Goggles: Red-tinted goggles. Infra-red, X-Ray, and laser vision (which lets him see lasers).
  • Instant Henchmen: Small pills that turn into full-grown minions with a touch of water. Has 10 equipped to his belt.
  • Dehydrator Ray: Small ray gun that turns whatever he shoots at into a small pill. The pills can be returned to their normal state with the slightest drop of water.
  • Spider-Bots: Small spider robots that receive spoken command from Genere. They have voice recognition, but it isn't very good, so they can be coaxed into obeying orders with a reasonably good impression. They deploy from his belt curled up in a ball from Genere's utility belt (he has 5). They have several tools they can use to sabotage machinery or hack into systems, and can also be ordered to self-destruct.

History

Paper Bag Man once tried to be a member of a secret government organization, but he was rejected as not being fit enough. However, since the organization was top-secret. they were forced to wipe his mind. Left with only his knowledge of how to build government gadgets, a vague desire to improve his fitness, a slight amount of shame, a want to protect people, no knowledge of his past life and a weakened sense of creativity, he took the guise of Paper Bag Man and fought crime.

After graduating college with majors in doomsday machines and business, Genere immediately decided to follow his life's goal of working for AGRA, a research and development firm. Or at least, that seemed like his life's goal at the time, mostly because he wasn't dressed in all black. Adopting a new outfit, slightly altered name, and using a bunch of technology he made under the guise of making them for the company, Genere left the company, hiring a bunch of their employees as mooks, and pulled off several petty thefts while planning to storm AGRA and steal more of their equipment for evil purposes.
