Personality: Although she has just turned 18, Matilda still lives in the imaginary world of a vulnerable adolescent. She is fiercely loyal, kind, free-spirited, and sweet. Although she is an adventurous young woman, she tries not to stray too far beyond her boundaries. She tries to see the good in everyone and loves all things big and small. Although Matilda strives to have a positive outlook on life, that doesn't mean she can't get upset. She tends to keep her emotions
within, which usually causes her to be moody to others, so people will find out what's wrong with her sooner or later.
Being someone who follows their own beat in life, Matilda's main conflict right now is being the youngest. Although it means less responsibility, she doesn't get all the wonderful privileges that her sister gets. She has a close relationship with her sister, and she would never betray her, but sometimes she wishes that Elizabeth would just...disappear. Of course, she'd never want her sister to actually disappear, but she wishes that she could experience all the things Elizabeth can. She wishes that she could be married to a handsome man and be a queen and live happily-ever-after. Being the youngest also means she doesn't have a choice of who she can love or marry. If she were only in Elizabeth's shoes, her life would be complete.

Friends: Matilda is friends with the bodyguard. She also knows his fiancee. Matilda has many friends, and lives by the phrase 'strangers are just friends you have not met yet'
Relationships: Matilda's close relationship with Elizabeth is well-known. Although her sister always has the spotlight, she respects her and would never think about betraying her. With Elizabeth and with friends, Matilda tries to be fun, trustworthy, selfless, and kind. She also gives advice to people when they need it. She may act like she's living in a fantasy, but she does give good advice. As far as romantic relationships go, she is not in any at the moment. She is in love with the oldest William child, but she is trying with all her might to supress her feelings for him. She is convincing herself that she isn't worthy of him and that Elizabeth deserves him more than she. She doesn't know if it's possible to hold back love, but she's going to find out.
