Personality
Laces works together with Buttons on most occasions, but does free-lancer job's as well. He's never shy, sometimes a bit rude and straight to the point. It's hard to earn his trust, he has no good friends, well maybe Buttons is considered as such. He gets in jail a lot, but always manages to get out. He likes his beers and he smokes. He's quite the bad boy, or the "oldest rebellious brother".
Equipment
Laces wears a rope with him all the time, and he knows how to handle it. He could use it for all kind of stuff but mostly as a weapon. He wears a black leather jacket and almost tight, dark blue pants, and unlike Buttons does he always keeps them clean, he has a lighter with him all the time too.
History
Laces was a bright student at the Thieves Guild in Pilfer (more information in Buttons' profile about that). Laces learned quickly and became one of the best thieves from the guild, less emotional than his fellow thieves. He has never met his parent, or maybe he did without knowing it were them, and he doesn't want to, another thing that's unlike the others. He plans to become the Master Thief of the Thieves Guild, nothing more nothing less

Daniel "Laces" Griffer found himself in a strange room, looking around he noticed the girl he had seen in the bar, he moved himself towards her, still tied up and sat down next to her. "Hey, are you all right?" he asked, in such a caring way he almost detested himself for it.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer whispered to Ceana, which backed away from him. This reasured him that he was still a bad boy type, even though he didn't called it like that himself, of course. "We've been kidnapped by armed men, but they're not here now," he whispered.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer tilted his head for a moment, thinking. "I think they'll ask a ransom," he said, looking Ceana move towards the crates "Or they'll sell us, luckily they didn't seem like the types that'd do tests on us." Laces didn't want to eat, he wasn't hungry, although he hadn't eaten for 24 hours.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer looked at Ceana, fighting of the empathy he had for her. "I'd tell the person that'd ransom me he should ransom you, I'll survive anyway," he whispered at Ceana, slapping himself for the head for saying that.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer noticed the girl hadn't any attention for him, he looked around while he searched his pocket for a cigarette, but all he found was his lighter. "Shit," he thought, his lips tightend.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer ' ears rang, he was shaking and he blinked much more than usual, he felt his stomach which was crying for food.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer stumbled towards the food, because he wasn't able to smoke the hunger away. Then he noticed the crewman, but he had to eat.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer arrived at the food, almost fainting. Laces used way too much energy for the amount of physical exercise he had. He consumed the food as fast as he could, hoping to stop the crushing hunger he had, succeeding, finally. He leaned back against the crate, breathing heavily.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer felt normal again. It had always been... Strange, when he didn't had any cigarettes left. Laces saw the half eaten food of the girl, he took it and walked towards the corner where Ceana sat. "Here, you didn't finish this," he said, standing pretty far away from her. Therefor he had to speak quite loud, but he didn't care.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer moved himself closer to Ceana, but wasn't getting close. "Here's your food," he said curtly, he threw the food next to her. He had been his former self again when this girl was away, but somehow he had gotten himself in a conversation with her again.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer nodded, "You're welcome, or something," he said, throwing a small smile at her when he asked "Have you told me your name already? He sat down, about six feet away from Ceana.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer yelled at Sophie "I've already got the weapon I use with me." Then he returned his gaze to Ceana, "Laces," he said curtly, leaning back a bit.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer saw Ceana shiver. "Here," he said as he threw a ball of laces towards her, "I suppose you need something to do."
Daniel "Laces" Griffer stood up, in such a way they wouldn't see Ceana, or better Ceana wouldn't have to see them. "Get me some cigarettes," he barked in the same way as one of the man had did, he supposed they responded to it like they did with the man.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer fell to the ground in pain and shock. "Fuck," he said as he felt that his knee was dislocated, repeating the word a couple of times. "I just need a freakin' cigarette!" he barked again.
Daniel "Laces" Griffer heard Sophie's comment, and didn't like it. "I'll get you a bottle of wine if you'd like it, you can place it next to that other 'stuff' you have with you," he said hoarsly, not caring for how the armed men would react.
