Yhu awoke with a gasp. He felt something pulsating underneath his jacket. It was the badge that he had gotten from WH. He had hung it around his neck with a red ribbon he had come across at some point in time. Yhu wondered if this meant the Witch Hunters needed assistance. He threw off his covers, grabbed his sword, and darted for the main entrance of his cave. After he reached it, he pushed the large boulder out of the way with ease, using his large metalic arm. He didn't waste time resealing it, as he rushed out into the open snow.

Since Yhu didn't have the badge for long, he didn't know that he could use it as a communication device. A loud voice erupted out of nowhere, causing Yhu to tense up.
"Helloooooo! Anyone there? This guy lives in a cave right? Could it be interfering with the signal?" Yhu then noticed that the feminine voice was caming from his badge. He grabbed it, wondering what to say.

"... This is Yhu. Why have you called for me?" He asked the badge while holding it to his mouth. There was no responce. He than decided to push some magical power into the badge and see if that works, and repeated the same thing. The cold frosty air was beginning to numb his already pale-white fingers.

"Oh! There you are. This is Miki. I'm a D-class agent for the northern WH base. I've called you to tell you that we have a mission that we need you to handle for us. Right now, we're searching for someone from our base to escort you. I'm guessing sense you're an A-class it will either be our S-class member or a senior A-class member. We still haven't found anyone yet. Would you like us to send transport for you?"
The girl asked him, although he did not fully understand. "...No thankyou. I will walk there on my own." Yhu responded, dropping the badge and making his way towards the base at a slower pace. 'This is all very strange. It will take some time to get used to being around other people... Or at least people.' Yhu thought to himself, staring down his manefestation of an arm.

He couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he hadn't decided to help the WH when their ranks started fighting against each other. He probably would have remained simply living in his cave only eating off the fish he catches in his private fishing hole.

He didn't see what the use of having money would be, if people tried to kill you when you're simply trying to buy a loaf of bread. He decided eating nice meals was a reservation for the living, which he wasen't really much of anymore. As far as Yhu was concerned, he was already dead.

Once Yhu made it to the base, he was met at the front door by a B-class member who's name he never learned. He escorted him to the main office where most of the D-ranks were working diligantly, hoping to rise through the ranks one day.

Hi there! You must be Yhu. A small girl who seemed too young to be here walked up to him. She looked to be about 12 and had long brown hair that fell to her knee's. She wore red wire-rimmed glasses, and an extra-small WH woman's uniform.
I am Miki. The person you were talking to earlier. Wow. You really do have a strange looking arm, don't you? I was only recruited 2 weeks ago, so I wasn't there for the big rebellion. Anyway, you should come wait in here until we find you a partner for your mission." Miki stated, while opening a door that led to a waiting area-type room.
Yhu retained his deadpan expression the entire time, and went inside without question and sat himself down in a chair. He noticed a folded uniform next to him on a sidetable. 'Is this meant for me?' Yhu thought staring at the uniform in wonder.

Raith sighed as he made his way slowely and intimidatingly over to the D-class agent. "Wrong. Wrong! Don't just swing your arms! Put your whole body into it. If you get it wrong this time, I'll cut out your left kidney." He threatened, which only made the D-rank even more nervous. He dropped the sword and almost stabbed himself in the foot, because of the pressure. "Idiot! Make that both your kidney's!"
"No! Please! I'm sorry!" The young agent ran off, probably in tears.

"This is why I hate training noobies. The D-ranks will never get stronger than they already are, its pointless." Raith sighed to himself.
"Well then maybe you shouldn't be so rough with them." Bozu said in a lecturing tone, as she hopped down from the pile of sleeping mats she was sitting on.
"Why do we even need those things? Its not like were going camping." He refered to the sleeping mats.
"Well, since there aren't that many people who live here, the only other place to sleep are training rooms. And I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to sleep on just the floor would you?" She commented back.

"Whatever. Lets just check up on the Boss. Lord knows what he's doing." Raith stated, avoiding the question.
"You're a real hard shell, huh?" Bozu asked following him.
"We've been working together for 3 years, and you've just now noticed?" Raith replied as he walked over to Vincent's office. Once he reached it, he kicked it as hard as he could, causing a crack or two to pretrude their way through the fine wood. "Hey Vincent! I'm coming in. I want to have a talk with you about why I've been stuck training damn noobies for the past few days. They're all spineless."

Raith opened the door, only to find that Vincent wasn't there. "Damn it. Where did that bastard go this time?" He hissed under his breath.
"Maybe he's trying to avoid you. I don't know what he was thinking choosing someone like you to be 2nd in command." She giggled.
"And it'll only be a matter of time before he kicks the bucket. Then I'll be the new WH leader, and I will make everyone bow before my supreme might. Hehehehehe." Raith chuckled to himself rather evilly.

"H-hey. You're not planning on making this place into an empire or something, are you?" Bozu asked him worriedly, a little scared by his sudden mood change. Although, she should be used to it by now.
There was a sudden akward pause as she asked the question. After a little while Raith started walking in a random direction, once again dodging the question. "Lets just find the damned boss already." He mumbled.
"Hey. Wait a minute!" Bozu followed after him. 'We're all going to die if he becomes the leader.' Bozu thought to herself as she followed him.

Vincent strolled own one of the main hallways of WH eyes fixed on the clipboard in front of him. Every now and then he would sign something before filliping to the next form. Despite his divided attention he still skilfully managed to weave in around the other hunters offering short greeting to them as he went. Vincent had always been a multitasker that combined with his skills and social attitude had qualified to be the second in command witch hunter. Now with Zachery gone he was in charge and although so far he had managed to do his job without any problems he had to admit the stress of it was getting to him a little bit.

He worried that he would not be strong enough to ensure victory, especially with the WH;’s latest loss of hunters and loyalty. Giving a sigh Vincent signed the last papers before tucking the clipboard under his arm and heading towards the department they were for. He could of course have gotten someone else to deliver them however he had spent the day so far cooped up in his office and a quick walk would do him same good. Arriving at the department he entered and walked up to the nearest D-class that of course was a woman.

“Hello there~”

The D-class glanced up to look at her superior, and then glanced at the papers in his hand.“Ah that wasn’t necessary Vincent sir; we could have had someone pick them up.” Vincent waved his hand cutting her off. “I wanted to dear; I’ve been stuck in the office to much lately.” Vincent smiled reassuringly. The D-class nodded.” Of course, thank you very much than.” Vincent nodded offering a polite good evening he exited the room and made his way towards the courtyard, still not quite ready to enter his office again. Upon reaching the court he took a seat at on bench his thoughts turning to what and followed his promotion to the head of WH.

Immediately afterwards he had weeded out most of the corrupt WH who had lead the rebellion. Although they were good men he couldn’t afford to have hunters that would so easily doubt their cause and intentions. He had also sent out search teams to find the Zachery but they had come up empty, most likely he was dead or being held hostage for information. He had named his second in command a younger hunter by the name of Raith kaleheister. Many had doubted this decision giving her young men’s outward personality; however Vincent could not be deterred. He had confidence that that this young hunter given enough time and training could improve to appoint where he could became quite reliable. You could call it Vincent’s intuition and it hadn’t lead him astray yet. His other decision was to try and convince onyx to reinstate herself, it had failed however and she had escaped custody soon after.

Vincent smiled glancing at same of the hunter wandering around. They had lost numbers but luckily they had gained same allies as well, a strange witch-less contract being one of them. Vincent hope it would be enough if the witches decided to take advantage of the WH recent losses. He also hoped he would be a good enough to leader to withstand if they decided to take advantage of it. Vincent chuckled to himself. “My at this rate I’ll became a burdened old man.” He chuckled.

Soon enough, Raith and Bozu had wondered off to the D-class division of the main base. "Hey you! Tell me where Vincent is!" Raith walked over to a random D-class, and grabbed her uniform collar.
"I-I'm sorry, but I don't know where the chief is. Please believe me Mr. Kaleheister." The young lady mumbled timidly, as she averted her eyes. She appeared to be several years older than Raith. "Hey...Whats your name?" Raith asked her intimidatingly.

"M-My name is Lisa, sir. Ranked #17 in the Main Base D-class division." Lisa slowly began looking in Raith's direction, only to find him giving her a death glare. "I don't believe you! If you don't look me in the eye from the start it means you're lying, now where is Vincent?!" Raith already knew that Lisa was telling the truth, but he wanted to freak her out a little. "I already told you! I don't know where he is!" Lisa exclaimed, on the brink of tears.

"Quit being an asshole, Raith!" Bozu exclaimed, giving Raith a hard smack on the back of his head. "If you want to find Vincent so badly, then picking on lower ranks will only waste time. I'm very sorry for his behavior. Please just forget this happened." She lectured him, then apologized, while dragging Raith away from Lisa. She looked like she was about to pass out when they left.

"Hey! That hurt, you bitch! And what happened to calling me master?" Raith protested, smacking her hand away from his arm.
"Well you were asking for it, you idiot. Always harrassing our members isn't going to help keep them around. Ever since the rebellion, we need as many members as we can get. We even had to pull some agents from the other bases here! I bet by the end of this week most of the reasons why they quit will be because of you. And I won't call you master, when you're acting like a little bully."
"If they can't handle a few little death threats or violence, then they'll die in no time flat. I'm teaching them that this job isn't something to fuck around about."
"More like, you're having fun off of their expense."

"Hold on! The chief is in here!" A male D-class who overheard Raith's little interrogation called out to them. Raith made his way back into the D-rank division, pushing the man out of his way. The man didn't say anything purely, because of Raith's position and power. He searched the entire area for Vincent, only to catch a glimpse of his albino hair passing through another exit. He powerwalked through the room, bumping several people on the way, which Bozu had to apologize for. By the time he had caught up with him, Vincent was in the base courtyard. "Vincent! I want to know why I've been stuck with training the noobies. I didn't become 2nd in command for this. Make some of the lower-ranked B-class agents do it." He walked over to the man angrily, making sure not to curse in Vincent's presense, seeing as he is more powerful than him.
"Hey Boss! How are you doing today?" Bozu came out from behind Raith and stood next to him to greet their superior.

Raith lost his irritated expression and immideatly broke out into an all out laugh. "Ahahahaha! Lovely? I've never seen a creature more hideous in my life." This automatically triggered Bozu slamming her fist into his gut, causing him to keel over for a few seconds.

"Who's the most hideous creature you've seen in your life, again?" Bozu looked down on him, practically with death intent.
"Hmph! I remember you being awestruck when you first saw me. If you apologize now, then I might forgive you." She stated taking the spot next to Vincent in Raith's place.
"Of course, I'd much rather have made a contract with you instead, Boss. I'm sure you would have appreciated me alot more than this sorry excuse for a human being. You're way more social than he could ever be." Bozu said, taunting Raith as well as buttering up Vincent.

"Damn it... I don't give a crap if you forgive me or not. The only reason for that is because you were a wolf at the time. Now you're just an annoying, talkative, pain in my ass..." Raith announced panting a couple of times before getting up on his feet.
"And don't talk about me as if I'm not here, stupid wolf! If you want to be his contract so bad just do it then! I prefer to work alone anyway!" Raith exclaimed almost storming off before he noticed Vincent walking off.

"You really are a useless master." Bozu mumbled to herself, getting up and following Vincent with Raith. As he was talking, she walked up and whispered in Vincent's ear.
"You know, Raith is actually a big softy. I caught him protecting his teamates when he was an A-class. But they never noticed. I think one of them thanked him, but he just blew it off saying that he was just fighting for his own sake." She giggled a little at the thought.
Meanwhile Raith ignored most of Vincent's advice, and thought to himself, 'The more this guy talks, the more I want to cut him down.'

It was until the part where he said that Raith was stuck with these assignments that Raith started to pay attention. "Wait a mi-..." Raith started until he noticed Vincent's serious glare. He cursed to himself silently, as he gave up the protest.
"You don't have to worry about him, Boss. I'll make sure he gets the hang of training our newcomers as soon as possible." Bozu chipped in cheerfully.

"I'd much rather do paperwork. What does it matter if I get along with people as long as they get the message?" Raith asked, grabbing a fairly large stack of papers and a pen from Vincent and began looking them over. Raith is surprisingly good with paperwork, although he dosen't seem very smart as first glance.
"Hey! Quit screwing around with my face!" He protested brushing off Vincent's hands angrily.
"That I can't help with, seeing as I can't really read." Bozu stated meekly. She then joined Vincent by pulling on Raith's cheeks, which he had a harder time of getting away from him.
