Jack stands at about six feet two inches tall, is well built from his years of extensive training his entire life, and has slightly tanned skin. His eyes are dark brown, and his hair is just a shade or so lighter than black. Jack's hair is long and untamed most of the time, falling behind his back to his shoulders, though it does not look too unsightly. Jack will often go a while without shaving, but he tries to keep his facial hair trim and presentable, usually wearing a light to thick black beard. He clothing consists of dark brown, baggy pants, leather boots, a cotton shirt, and a long dark brown trench coat. Also, he's hardly if ever seen without his black fedora on his head.
Sexual Orientation: straight
Spouse/Lover(s): A good few, here or there.
Personality: Jack is an odd one, to say the least. His past is his own, and you usually won't get him to divulge much about himself unless you were to get him drunk. He's a good guy, but is always on the go, always traveling, and is incredibly distant from just about everyone he meets. Sure, he'll be your best friend at the bar, or he'll be a devout lover in the bedroom, but when he leaves he takes everything with him. Many people have come to know him as "Mad Jack" simply because he does give off the appearance as if he were actually mad, with a rumor going around that he's had so many spells cast on him from witches he's battled in his lifetime that his mind just couldn't take it.
Equipment/weapon:
Jack carries around on his horse a wide variety of weapons. Considering he does not have control of magic, as an apprentice he made sure to master as many types of weaponry as he could in order to compensate. His main weapons include a katana which contains multiple spell enhancements and a crossbow, being sure to lace his arrowheads with poison of some sort. On his horse he also carries a multitude of items, to include food and first aid equipment, as well as any other assorted item one would find useful when traveling alone.
History (At least two paragraph):
Jack has no memory of his early life, due to a spell from a witch that he was hit with, as far as he can tell. His memories, and life for that matter, began at 13, where he was found and adopted by a family whose father was a witch hunter. Never having been able to have kids, Jack was seen to them to be a blessing, and so his new father began teaching him everything about the trade of witch hunting. It was a happy life, for the most part. He did a good deal of lower class duties at that time, such as investigatory work and working at a few of the more local witch hunter bases. Jack grew unhindered into a powerful figure, standing tall and strong, and while he never really had much trouble beforehand, after killing his first bad witch at 17 he never had any girl problems again, at least in the small town that he lived. It was a simple life, and after that kill he was recognized to be a B class hunter, and was assigned to a team of fellow hunters.
The three of them set off on one adventure after another, and this went on for a good few years. During this time they battled witches or any kind of evil which they felt needed dealt with, from other creatures to criminals, and during this time he also found out about the death of his adopted parents, who met their end when their house caught on fire. Jack was told that foul play was expected, that it must have only been an an accident of some sort. Not a few days after they were all declared to be an S Class team, Marcus, one of the three, betrayed the team in hopes of joining the witches and learning magic. Only Jack survived, after being hit with enough magic that he probably should have died, though thanks to a local healer he was able to recover in a matter of a few weeks. Vengeance was never settled, although, outwardly at least, Jack did not seem like the type to hold a grudge. He seemed calm about it all, surprisingly to the witch hunters who knew him. However, he did seem different, something about him, or everything about him, from the way he talked down to the way he carried himself, was different. There was a madness about him, but not one that was seen to be detrimental. Instead of joining a new team, Jack set off on his own, and only rarely checks in with witch hunter bases to see if any orders have been sent specifically to him. He has no close friends, but is known by a good deal of people all across the continent simply because of how often he travels. Some say he's looking for Marcus, the one who betrayed him, but Jack has never admitted to such a goal.
