|History|
Born and raised in a stable suburban family in Quebec, Canada. His life was an average one; filled with the love and respect that every child deserves. His father was a mechanic and his mother was an interior decorator and both of them taught him the meaning of hard work and dedication. He got his first job at fifteen at his father's garage and worked there until he was eighteen and preparing for college.
One day while on duty, a beautiful Indian woman entered the garage in need of directions. Nolan looked up from under the hood of the car he was working on and saw her for the very first time. Now, he never believed in love at first sight, but that's what it felt like when he saw her. He tried to be as charming as possible and ultimately made a complete fool of himself. Luckily, she thought it was cute and gave him her phone number.
And that is how the lover's story began. Nolan and Angel were inseparable; attending college together, moving in with one another, and getting married so they could never be apart. It was a match made in heaven. However, all good things must come to an end. And in this case, it ended in a CRASH! It was on their thirteenth anniversary that the accident happened. Nolan was setting up the perfect anniversary dinner while Angel was returning from a long day at her flower shop. He was just taking the roast out of the oven when his phone began ringing off of the hook. As soon as he answered, he nearly broke down right then and there. Nolan rushed to the hospital, almost crashing into cars as he tried to get to Angel. She died that night, leaving Nolan broken and alone.
A month later, he packed his bags and moved to Las Vegas because that's where he and Angel always wanted to go. Once settled there, he began to find refuge in writing his novel about a empowered young woman that saved lives regularly. It was the woman that Angel always wished she could be and Nolan thought he could at least give her that.
