Malkon is a gifted teenager who is unable to delve into his past to explain his present.
Malkon is reserved and shy. He rarely talks with other people and often keeps to himself. Since he considers himself to be an abomination, he does what he can to avoid contact with other people. Often his eyes will dart to the most isolated place devoid of life they can find. He is ashamed for being born with his ability to control and manipulate water. Therefore he does what he can to avoid situations with water or situations that are violent. If touched by someone else he shudders as the thought of being touch both excites and frightens him. He is not a good judge of character and often makes blind assumptions. This is caused by a lack of confidence he has in himself and the world.
Since Malkon's main ability is to control and manipulate water, his only weapon is his pair of gloves with sapphires in the middle. For some reason this gem resonates with his power and helps magnify their effects. Although he does not know why, they comfort him slightly. Malkon carries a shield with an ancient symbol on it that his mother passed to him as she died. Otherwise he only uses the clothes on his back. He does have a satchel for carrying other handy tools such as useful herbs or nifty crafting tools.
After his father left and his mother died by the time he turned 12, Malkon has been somewhat of an orphan. His house burned down following the death of his mother and since, Malkon has found himself wandering the streets. He takes up occasional jobs for petty cash getting by in life. Although he knows this isn't the life he wants, he gets by on it and it keeps him from suffering a similar fate to his mother. His mother's death came from unusual circumstances, she was murdered although no one can pinpoint a culprit or any really hard evidence. His father disappeared on an excursion with a group of friends. Malkon knows someone is after him, most likely for his powers. So the more low key he can stay, the longer he will survive in the harsh reality that has become his life.
