Tucker's Story

Summer kept her clothes on and since there was nothing left to pack she decided to get something to eat. As she turned off the tv that was fun house mirror, she opened the door without looking, she slammed into a hansom man and a young woman. The deepest of red flew up into her cheeks, it was such a shock that in her crazed fit she believed that it was David and his new woman.
But as she grabbed her head and looked at them once over she had found that they were stranger, she had just rammed into. Summer was so thankful she hugged them both and smiled like a crack pot woman. It wasn't only a minute before Summer realized what kind of crazy person she must have looked like.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry." Summer gripped her hair as she spoke.
"I thought- I mean I didn't- what I'm trying to say is- I am sorry. It's been a rough night." Summer stuttered over her words until she got the right words out. Her stomach growled to make the moment even more awkward for all of them.
As they stared eye-wide she just prayed they weren't the kind to read the tabloids and really begged God not to notice who she was.

Kimberlynn was shocked when she was hugged by some strange woman "I know what you mean" she nodded in agrement when she mentioned it had been a rough night, upon hearing the womans stomache growling she said "we were just heading to breakfast would you like to join us?" she asked looking down at her with a gentle smile and up at her husband and nodded signifying that it was okay. She remembered times where she was hungry and had no money or anything and she wished people had been kind to her so she wished to do for others what others didnt do for her.

It was a weird notion to by two strangers, but she couldn't help but agree. Summer had no money, and with this she couldn't help herself. The thought of not being able to pay didn't even cross Summer's mind. She had been so happy that people were being nice she couldn't help herself again and hugged them again. "I swear I wont do that again." She swung her hands.
As they walked to to the man's truck she watched how sweet the man was, they must have been on their honeymoon, Summer thought, as the man helped the young woman in the truck. And while they drove she noticed how he held her hand, it was like how Summer had planned her and David's honeymoon, only with less pictures and screaming fans.
And at that moment she found herself a little happy that they didn't marry, but then rethinking of it, it made her horribly sad. A
They made it to the restaurant making Summer to cheer up, she didn't want to make things any worse.

"My name?" It had brought back the memories when David and her started dating.
Four years ago the same question was rose up between twenty people shouting at her. None of them knew who she was, and none of them probably really cared. All that matter was who David was sleeping with, not so much who she was. Summer was hung around David's arm like a scared child. She tried to smile and wave and when the question finally did pop up after four months she was thrilled.
"It's Summer Banks." She said, coming back to the present day. Summer reached out her hand to shake Tucker's. "And yours?"

Food sounded just as good as the man's voice. "Thank you." Summer blushed.
They all walked in as the followed the small waitress to the table Summer noticed people looking hung over and trying to stomach whatever horrors that woke up to. It was really pathetic. She couldn't understand how people could get so wasted, she wasn't one who got so drunk she would do something stupid and never did she have a hangover. She looked at the couple and spoke in a small voice.
"Can you believe people drink so much they totally forget what they did, I was down in the lobby and you should see how many people just get wasted one night and wake up to horrible horrors in their bed in the morning." Summer laughed a little.

"Yeah, but it's not like you two were drun-" Then it hit her.
Tucker and Kimmberlyn were the couple that were to go after her. She remembered seeing them sitting next to the pregnant young couple, who sat in shame. Of course she didn't know them, she was too busy running out of the area with tears in her eyes in a fancy wedding dress.
"Oh, yeah, I saw you two last night... I was the one before you." A blush ran across her face.
"I am so sorry, I really didn't even, I mean, God, I am just making a fool of myself to you two." Summer looked down, wishing she would just disappear.

Summer watched Tucker look at the girl across the way, she was the same girl that drank out of her water bottle at the hotel. It was good to see her not making funny faces at this point.
"Well I'm glad the two of you are, doing whatever, it is you two are doing." Summer turned her head back at the couple and smiled. She still felt like an idiot, but she shrugged it off.
That was one thing she could do, embarrassment didn't sink into her.

Kimberlynn remained silent during all of this conversation in the truck and in the restuant her eyes looked around as she observed everyone, from Summer, to Tucker to the girl in the other booth twirling her knife. SHe cut her eyes at Tucker for being so open about them getting drunk and getting married. She didnt want everyone especially strangers to know that she was that stupid to let herself get drunk enough to forget everything the next day. She huffed a bit when he revealed that. "How do you think I felt this morning waking up to a complete stranger in my bed...claiming to be my husband" She said cutting her eyes at tucker then looking back at Summer "Im sorry my HUSBAND was rude and didnt introduce me" She said stretching out a hand over the table "I'm Kimberlynn...id tell you my last name but he has yet to share that information with me either." SHe said softly looking at him then back at Summer.

Summer shifted in her seat as Kimberlynn got upset. It was understandable but just to have been there made her unconformable.
"I- uh." Summer couldn't think of a damn thing to say, which to her was a good thing probably. She thought of all the times she should have just shut up, so she did just that. Her head looked down but her eyes shifted to the man and back at the woman.
"Well this is an awkward breakfast..." Summer thought as she closed the menu.

Summer's stomach growled again.
"Thank you." She spoke softly.
Her cell phone went off making her jump she had forgotten that it was in the pocket. Summer looked down and saw that it was an unknown number.
"I'm sorry, I had forgot I had it." She shrugged and ignored it.
"You two are quit cute together." A smile was bought upon her face as she watched them.

Summer nodded and stood up to take the call outside, she knew better than to be rude to people she just met.
As the phone rang a sick feeling bubbled up inside of herself.
"Hello?" A man's voice.
"Hi, you called?" Summer spoke lightly, not really knowing who it was.
"Oh, You are Summer Banks, yes?"
"Yes."
"I am David's lawyer."
And just like that it was all over.
Ten minutes passed talking to the man, and when Summer got back to the table with the undecided happily newly weds, and there Summer knew she was going to break down any minute.

"Oh, that was just my ex's lawyer." Summer said quietly, she never been good with friends. Her first real friend was David and that turned out horribly.
"I have been told, that my ex, has decided that he wants to keep my money, because it would be too much of a hassle to change it back. God, I can't believe I loved him." Tears bubbled up in her eyes again.
"Sorry, I'm just so pissed, I made the mistake of watching the news and saw this horrible mug shot picture of myself. I hate that damn man." Summer hadn't been this angry in years and when she let it all out to a couple of stranger it made her feel a lot better.
"I'm 24 with no money." Summer started to laugh like a crazed manic person.

As the waitress came Summer smiled, she order a lot of food without even thinking twice she hadn't ate since the morning before. The sound of her own voice was drained out as the list grew and grew. It made her realize that she was looking like a fat ass, making her blush when she stopped talking. Summer looked at the couple and looked down.
"I haven't ate in a while." She shrugged and let out a sigh.
