Niko's Story

Konia was thirsty. She got out of her den and walked to the hole. She yawned just before taking a sip of water. then looking back she seen the New kid. She smiled. "Hey new blood."
"You're not from here are you? Neither am I. What pack did you originate?" she says stopping in front of him.
"Me and my friends were from Mosia. We left for the adventure of traveling." She says headed back to the pack "If you need anything let me know."
"Hmm.....? Was it something I said?" Konia watches as Neko runs off.
Du sees neko go into his den. He was a bit hurried. Du walked in and smiles. It was obvious that he was a full blood mosia.

Du smiled and nodded then walked out. He went back to his spot and looked out to the city. He almost always sat there. Just looking.
Konia thought for a moment. "Boring. I was apart of the scout pack. There was so much restrictions, All I could do was watch. No saying hi no studying the culture, no trading." She turned to him. "Thats why I left. The others have their own reasons."
"That happens with all genders. If you're not able to work good enough to be payed then you work for free. At least that was the motto that they used. Only the best were not slaved. My brother was slaved but died shortly after due to something stupid he did." Konia laughs a bit. "I know I shouldn't be laughing but He died from tripping while trying to show off for the ladies. Oh gods but I do miss him."
Konia thought for a bit. "Not the way they do it no. If you want to do slavery it should be done in a way they don't have their entire lives stuck doing something they aren't even good at. If I had to create a way for it to work they would only have to be a slave for a single moon cycle." She then looks down. "But slavery is still wrong. But it is some what good for money. I wish it wasn't so popular."
She looks at him. "There is a good side to the Mosia. Its just the leaders that fuck it all up." She looks over a Du. "He has suffered from the leaders stupidity."
"I wasn't there You would have to find Ookar and ask him." Konia said with a frown. She was lying but she couldn't stomach saying it bluntly let alone describe it. She looked down.
Ookar sees the wolf coming up to him. "What'cha want mate? I seen ya talking to Konia. I'm gusing you want to join our little pack?" he says with his heavy british sounding accent."
"What'cha talkin about mate? The pack I was in before the Mosia all talked like this." Ookar smiled "So what'cha here for mate?"
Oskars smile dropped as soon as Niko asked about Du. "They ripped out his throat." he says walking away.
"Because he challenged the alpha. Instead of the honoring it they hurt him. Now he is a mute." Ookar looked back to Niko. "But there is nothing I could have done." Du sat in the distance and smiled.
"Didn't even get the chance. I like you kid, so I will let you in on one thing. If we ever meet a group of mosias just back off. Du will get them."
"As the ones that follow the leaders we don't get the chance to think. We are only here for the alphas benefit. Almost all alphas have no use for us if we can outsmart them. Equality isn't a thing. It never was or will be. It was an illusion. The more you tell yourself that something good will happen the more you believe. Even if you know it is not true. As long as there is a minor difference between others there will never be true equality." Ookar looked at the kids face. "This is not what I think, but it is what I know."
"That piece of paper you are talking about barely worked when it was still useful. I caused as much problems as it created solutions." Ookar looked away. "It was what tore them apart."
