Description
Reese Duram
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Reese isn't naturally as pretty as he'd lead you to believe, ever since he was young he was...Different. He naturally has blue-green skin, weird, fully white eyes and bright red hair. Over time, though, he's become able to...Hide it. He typically presents himself as a six-foot tall male with lightly tanned skin, blue eyes, and blond hair. Quite attractive, if he says so himself. But, then again...That would be the whole point, to make himself attractive and not a...Not a monster.
Personality
Reese is the kind of guy that is always gonna be there for you. Whether your car is stuck in a ditch or you need someone to bail you out of jail. Call him. He really is a gentle spirit, but that's not to say he won't beat you to a pulp if you make him mad enough, because he will.
He's pretty awkward around people, not because he's shy or anything, but that's just how he is. He always tends to mix words up and say the things he means to say wrong. You know those people you almost feel sorry for because they can't ever seem to say anything right? That'd be Reese. Don't feel bad for him, though, that'll only make him mad. Speaking of him being mad, it's actually pretty hard to do in normal circumstances. He's just like that, really. You could dent his car and he'd be asking if you were okay, which annoys his friends a bit on occasions. You can easily make him mad, though, by oppressing those he cares about, don't have much or can't stand up for themselves against you.
Another thing about him that's noteworthy is that his friends become like family to him, and they become his family quickly. So long as you'll put up with his awkwardness in conversation, he's cool with you, and if you stay cool with him for a while he'll start to consider you family. This process can honestly take less than a week and it can be a little worrying how easily he trusts.
Equipment
Reese has the ability to change his external appearance into almost anything he wants: he can change everything from his hair cut and color, to his hight, weight, and even gender. Though, bigger changes are harder for him to keep up for long, and he occasionally slips up and either makes a mistake everything sort of...Falls apart. Though, those sorts of things have become increasingly less common recently, likely due to his desperate need to constantly remain in a more "human" form and the fact that he's getting older.
History
Reese was born into a normal, middle class family with two older siblings leading the way for him. He was only few weeks old when he started to...Change, become less normal. He was born a normal, healthy baby and his parents didn't understand why he was turning blue. At first they thought something was wrong with him, but over time they realized: he was a mutant. Full of grief over this knowledge, they just abandoned him. He was lucky enough, though, to have been found by a blind woman who had just lost a son and, not knowing what the child looked like but knowing he needed her, she took him in and raised him as her own for years. She never knew he was a mutant or even suspected, the only reason she knew he was male was because she'd managed to change his diapers.
As he got older, though, he began to realize he wasn't normal and worked hard for some way to look normal, and one day he found that he'd done it. He'd become a normal kid...He wasn't sure how, but he had done it! He continued to play with this ability for a while until he found a look he liked, and as he got older he found he could do so much more than just change his skin and eye color to make himself look normal. Oh, yes he could. He often played with and experimented turning into various people with different looks growing up. One, day though, he found the birth certificate of his "mother's" son, he knew that baby wasn't him, he couldn't ever remember having blond hair and blue eyes, but he decided to act as though he didn't have a clue and continue to play the part of her son, after all, she'd raised him. So, when he was just old enough, he got copies of the papers and move away, saying that he just needed to get away and become the person he was always destined to be.
He didn't have any idea how hard it would be.
