Appearance: James is a 5'10'' young man with light hair and brown eyes. He is usually wearing glasses and his leather jacket. He often has scrapes and bruises but mostly from him being clumsy. He's fairly average in looks and in build. All in all there is not much significant about him. It often helps him to fit in with nearly any group. He never goes anywhere without his leather jacket, his glasses (he needs them to see), a small caliber pistol and a pocket knife. Though he is loath to use his weapons to kill people.
Personality: James is outgoing and fairly friendly. He is usually very trusting until someone proves to him that they are not his friend. He may seem very smooth when it comes to ladies, but in reality he has no idea what he is doing. His only real goal in life at this point is survival.
Skills: James can cook, given the right time and tools. He's also not half bad at driving vehicles.
Bio: How someone like James survived the war or the espers who constantly hunt down humans is a mystery even to him. If asked, he'd probably say that he was just in the right places at the right times. He blames it on his lucky jacket, he's had it ever since his father gave it to him as a kid. He's been living mostly on his own since the wars, traveling between ruins and joining and leaving groups in his old beat up pickup truck.
