Slowly as the sun receded among the silhouette of trees. A beautiful girl of the age of nineteen walks alone. "Why of all nights am I late to this one party?" She questioned herself while checking her purse for a mirror. Her red high heels clicked on the cobblestone as she drew out her mirror and checked her complexion. The wind was starting to pick up and blew her long, curly red hair. "Brr. It’s starting to get cold," she said while pulling at her tight long sleeve-shirt. "Maybe if I cut threw the city park I can be there on time for Cindy's party" She muttered to herself.
She started to walk into the park. And walked along the long path of light poles. It was about a quarter to nine and the party started at ten. She walked past a bench where a couple of lovers kissed while the moon started to shine its pale moonlight.
With a "Hmph" and a roll of her eyes she picked up her pace. She hated it when lovers did that in front of her. Suddenly she heard a rustling in the bushes that made her jump. She looked towards it to see a shadow behind the bush. "Is anyone there???" You could hear the fear in her voice. There was no respond...
She started to pick up her pace. She never liked being outside after dark. But she really wanted to go to Cindy's party, whom being not as popular was glad to receive an invite.

She could just see the park exit about 10 feet away, a clear exit. No one was walking her way so she started to pick up her pace. She tried to not trip over the garbage that littered the ground so she was watching her steps carefully.
Out of nowhere she bumped into a man. "Ahh!!" she screamed. "I'm sorry Miss for running into you, I wasn't looking where I was going." The man tried to say while the girl pushed him away. Just being aware to what had happened, she stopped being frightened. But didn’t lower her guard. For she knew something was wrong, she could just sense it.

The girl just starred at the man with a vacant look. He was tall with dark clouded eyes. His skin pale as death. The man wore a dark, long, leather jacket with a blood red scarf. His short spiked hair matched his dark jacket. "Oh I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I screamed, you sort of startled me," she said with a blush. The man chuckled. "Its quite all right. I tend to frightened my self often too." He smiled. He had such a gorgeous white smile. She just had to stare. "Are you all right? You don't look too well." She snapped out of her trance. "Oh yes, yes I'm doing fine I'm just in a little bit of a hurry and I’m sort of afraid of the dark." She said while staring into his deep dark eyes. "Do you want me to escort you to your destination?" He asked with concern. "Um. Well." She said while fidgeting with her hands. "Um sure if you don't mind." "Very well then. Um. I don't think I got your name." She glanced at him once again and said, "Melody. That’s my name." "Well its nice to meet you my dear, Melody." She started to blush. "Awe stop it! Your making me blush!" Melody said while giving him a little friendly push. They just both laughed. "Well we must be on our way. So off we go." He held out his hand. She gracefully accept it. And they walked out of the park.

“So to who’s honor do I owe this gala that we are attending.” He asked. “Gala? Do you mean the party?” Melody asked in a puzzled tone. “I do believe that’s what I asked.” A serious glance started to form in his eyes. “Well we’re going just to a party. Nothing special.” The conversation ended with a notable nod from his face. They walked along the asphalt street to the lighted house. The dark cloud of crows seem to fly over head, from tree to tree they took flight. The autumn leafs danced along the asphalt street in a circular waltz. “So. I didn’t seem to catch your name.” Melody said monotony like. With a sharp glance of his dark eyes he said. “Gabriel.” And took Melody’s hand a pecked it with his lips. Aw how sweet. But I barely know him. Keep a watchful eye on him Mel. Melody’s mind said in a whisper. Melody quickly drew back her hand.

After a couple minutes of silence, they came up to the house. The music was blaring; a never-ending chatter of people’s voices, and the use of alcohol were frequently used. With hands held, the girl and the stranger entered the unfamiliar house of non-stop parting.
”Melody!” said the shrieking girlfriend of Melody. “Cindy!” she said nervously. “You finally made it.” She tried yelling over the music but was unsuccessful. “What?” “Ugh, Just follow me.” With one sweeping motion Melody was grasping Cindy’s hand, and they all weeded themselves through the party of dancers on the dance floor. They were lead into the kitchen where in the background, besides the thumbing of the music; you could clearly hear phrat boys saying, “Go, go, go, go!” As the innocent boy drank the deadly drinks they served to him. “I’m glad you finally made it. I started to get worried that you wouldn’t come.” She just giggled. “Well I would have been here sooner but I ran into someone along the way.” “Oh did you” She said with a little smile and glanced at the man standing besides her. “Gabriel, This is Cindy the one who’s hosting the party.” He quickly glanced at the dance floor and said. “Well it’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said while out of his pocket a black rose was in his hand. “Oh my. Why thanks you.” Cindy swooned over the man as she took the black rose and put it in her blonde hair.
”Excuse us Cindy but I would like to dance with Melody for a while.” He said while drawing closer to Melody’s hand. Melody’s heart began to flutter and fluster like it was about to jump and take off. But graciously she took his hand and was lead away towards the dance floor.
He dance as if were at a ball or a proper event. Gabriel grabbed Melody’s hand drew her close against his broad body. And just started to sway and spin around. It was a slow dance so it was common.
Melody’s heart was trying to take off again, trying to fly to the highest. But melody’s mind was keeping it in its place. Her hands were beginning to sweat and Gabriel just smiled.
He started to get closer, closer then she wanted, He gazed into her eyes, lightly kissing her on her lovely scarlet lips. Melody tried to respond with the same motions but was numb with emotions.
The song started to end to its crescendo and the dance was over.

Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding the grandfather clock rang above all the noise. The clock showed twelve. With out any notice Gabriel said. “Melody I have to get going. I was supposed to be somewhere earlier and I’m late.” Melody was starting to dink a little and said. “Well if you say you need to then I guess you should go. But hey, I didn’t get your number or anything. I really want to meet you another time. What are you doing tomorrow night?” Gabriel hesitantly kept looking out the window towards the sky. “Uh nothing. Meet me at the park same place, same time.” And before Melody could respond Gabriel was gone. And she was left alone with the groups of passed out teenagers.

((Hopefully more people will show interest; if not, this may very well turn into a one-on-one RP with loads of NPCs and the like.))

Brandon was running so fast, he was practically stumbling over himself every few feet. The party had already started and here he was -- late again. Of course, he wasn't really invited, but he was convinced that there would be enough people there that Cindy wouldn't notice him slip in. Brandon wasn't the most popular of people in his school, and he only had a handful of friends. Normally, he wouldn't be caught dead at a jock party like this, but he needed to find a nice girl to help him with his... hunger. As he ran, his tongue traced the tips of his fangs lightly, biting ever so lightly as to draw a bit of blood to hold himself off for awhile. If he was going to that party, he would at least try to have fun.

As the pale moonlight shone down on his even paler skin, he felt his shoe catch on a ridge in the cobblestone street, and he went flying to the ground with a hard thud. He rubbed his face, which was now scraped a bit and bleeding from the fall, and tried to push himself to his feet. Everything hurt. "God, I'm such an idiot," he muttered as he made a second attempt to stand, this time successfully. He continued to sprint toward Cindy's house, now with a slight limp.

Finally, he entered Cindy's yard. It was probably close to eleven o'clock now, and the party would be ending soon. He had to hurry. He stumbled up the stairs of the porch and nonchalantly slipped through the front door, hoping she wouldn't see him. He was quite taken aback by the sudden blast of music, pounding in his eardrums and reverberating throughout his entire body. He smoothed out his black t-shirt and made sure nothing tarnished his black jeans. As he glanced around the room, he noticed that most of the party-goers were passed out on the floor from all of the alcohol. "Figures."

He made his way into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of beer, taking a quick swig. He wanted to get totally wasted, and so he took another. He started to make his way back out to the main party room when he noticed a girl just standing there, seemingly looking for someone who had just left. "Maybe she knew that strange man that just left," he said to himself, recalling having to practically trip over himself to avoid a cloaked man darting from the house. Now that he thought about it, the man seemed rather old to be attending a teenage party, and rather old to be going around with a teenage girl for that matter. He cautiously approached the girl and tapped her on the shoulder so she might turn to face him. "Hello," he said, trying to sound as friendly as he could.
(12:17:45) RoxYRosE: And you did. Crim is not a liar... ask her if I said what you said I said. I bet she says what I think she'll say.

Teara had snuck out her window, her flats slipping off the roof a bit. She grabbed frantically for something and grabbed the darinage pipe. She released a sigh of relief and shimmied down until her shoes tapped lightly on the pavement. Her leggings blended in with the night and her hip grey shirt was pretty hot not to mention the black puffy hat and fancy dress scarf. She slung her purse over her shoulders and began heading down the street, checking behind her to make sure her parents didn't see.

They weren't really her parents, she actually had created them as substitutes so she could blend in. They began to act like real parents and she was unable to send them away. She had to wait until the so called planets aligned with the moon and it was a full moon which she couldn't really see happening in a couple of years.

Teara ran her tongue over her teeth, her fangs poking out only slightly. Her eyes were black, naturally colored that way. Her hair was also black which seemed to send chills down a few students backs and raise the hair on their necks up. Although she had a certain air that attracted most people to her. It was just the way she was and that was how she had become popular and got in with the "in"crowd.

Teara walked quickly and finally reached the house. She saw a cloaked man run past her and another male figure fall flat on his face. He stumbled a bit before entering into the house and she followed inside. She smiled and waved at a few people that noticed her and waved for her attention. She glanced around for the man that fell outside and she spotted him talking to another girl. He had a distinct air about him kind of likes he did only hers seemed to draw people towards her. Teara walked over, her hips swaying along with the music.

"Hi." she said to them both.

[[So I'm going to be the one "vegetarian" vampire like Twilight. Sue me XD]]
Nicolas was currently inside his room, pulling on a white collared shirt that was perhaps a little too small for him. He rolled up the sleeves, revealing more of his perfect, smooth ivory skin, and left the top two buttons undone. His gold eyes flashed in the light of lamp as he finished rolling his sleeves, and he turned to his shoes. Vans slip ons- very much in vogue, but then again, he was a stylish man. He slid into them, check his hair one more time, and gave a slight smile before walking downstairs. Nicolas was on the soccer team, and a fantastic player - a century of playing tended to do that. He open his front door, the locked it behind him before checking to make sure no passerby were in sight. He then began to run, his eyes taking in every minute detail as he dashed to the party. He could hear the music and smell the people long before he was there - his throat ached for a moment before he quickly ignored the old desire. He had been "vegetarian" for awhile, and could easily ignore the scent of human blood pulsing through veins.

His nose caught the scent of two, no, three other vampires quickly. He shrugged to himself and began to slow his run - he had covered the five miles in about ten minutes or so, but needed to drastically slow down for the last quarter mile. He would not have broken a sweat if he could - running was nothing to him. His eyes flicked around, casting questing looks for the other three of his kin - chances were, though, that they did not follow his diet of animal. He shook his head slightly, but continued walking slowly down the sidewalk. He flashed a smile at a teen who passed him, and saw her falter at his beauty. He was indeed a beautiful creature - skin of while marble, eyes of gold, and a body of a young god. It was not suprising that many human women found him irrestible - it was a good thing indeed that he did not feed on human blood.

Once he reached the door his eyes swiveled and caught sight of two vampires, and he mentally marked where they were. His nose wrinkled in disgust -the smell of sweaty human bodies polluted with alcohol filled the room with a foul stench. He then stopped breathing - he could not stand that smell. He gave small thanks for his kind's ability to go without oxygen - it was a blessing at this time.

[[Are the vampires going to have any other abilites other than the basic ones?]]
"V-necks are for real men."
"For real GAY men."
"Whatever. Don't be jealous that I have more cleavage than you."

OI. I have drumline and school, so that means I won't be on as much. Sorry all.

((Sooo many vampires already -.-))

Brandon didn't jump in the slightest at the sound of a new voice next to him. He turned slightly, barely glancing at the girl. Her scent was intriguing, that of a female and something he couldn't quite determine. Why was this strange girl suddenly talking to him? He didn't like it. He wasn't very well a people person, unless it came to beautiful women; not to say she wasn't beautiful, for she was, but her sense of style was... lacking, in his opinion.

"Hello," he started, his expression unchanging. "who are you?" There was a hint of hostility in his voice, but only for a moment, then his face softened a bit. "Sorry," he quickly added. There was no use in scaring the poor girl off, she was already here. His dark eyes analyzed every aspect of her form; her shape, the lines on her face, the shadows under her eyes. Everything was so intricate and, well, pretty. It also helped that she was a vampire, but Brandon was here for a human and he wouldn't let himself get distracted. Preferably a female human; it was more intimate that way.

He quickly turned when he caught the scent of yet another vampire in the room, this time male. He was terribly territorial, and he disliked other males near when he was about to find a donor. A low growl escaped his throat, but he managed to stifle it for the most part.

Teara raised an eyebrow, he black eyes flashing a bit as she watched him examine her. She knew that he himself knew she was a vampire as all vampires know. She smiled, it being somewhat menacing but then again innocent. She glanced at the girl he was sayining hello to and realized what he was doing. He needed what all vampires needed.

"Hello. I'm Teara. And you are? I just want to know your name, I can see your... busy." she said her eyes turning to look in the direction of the girl.

((Ack! Bamarre, gtf back here and post -.-))

Brandon let a friendly smile slip, obviously not bothered by the girl. "Busy? Nah... this can wait," he said politely. He had decided that he quite liked the sound of her voice, and he didn't want to chase it away. Not tonight. "Teara," he mused, "what a pretty name." He knew his charm was a bit menacing, but it was the only way he knew.

He considered the drawbacks of revealing his name to the girl, but concluded that it couldn't hurt too much. It's not like she was going to hunt him down and slaughter him. "Brandon is what they call me," he said with a smirk.

Nick managed to not snicker when he heard the growl - young'uns. Always so territorial. Of course, when you hunted humans and not animals, you tended to be more territorial than those who didn't. His ears picked up the hint of a coversation between two of the vampires, and he barely caught their names - Teara, and Brandon. Interesting - he had not yet heard of two vampires that went by those names. Oh well - there were things that even his friends did not hear. He really didn't care, though; it was just nice to know the names of whom he was dealing with.

He felt a slight ache in his throat - the hast time he had hunted ws about a week ago. He would have to be sure to do that tomorrow night, or maybe even tonight, after the party. As soon as possible was best. The scent of so much blood is such a small place was tickling his throat, and not in a good way. He was certain that the territorial lad out there wouldn't appreciate him killing humans in his territory, not that Nick would.

a gentle breeze whipped the chestnut curls of the young woman, as she poked her head out of the sunroof of her family's limousine. She felt a slight tug at her leg, and was pulled down onto the seat once more by the eldest of her two 'sisters'.
"Sofia.. please sit still." her adoptive father said, his golden eyes hard with scorn. His voice was soft and calm, but the girl knew instinctively that she would be in deep trouble if she didn't behave.
"Sorry, Jonathan." she said, letting out a small sigh as she sat back in her seat and closing her eyes.
