Heaven and Hell: AU [IC]

Sesha almost flew over the back of the Jeep as Quell slammed the gas. She was hanging onto the back frame so tightly that her knuckles were turning white. She also had her staff clenched in the other hand. Sesha felt the Jeep swerve left and it collided with something. She noticed the body of a demon rolling off to the side as they sped on. Sesha wondered how Quell was getting through these streets with such little light. The debris was causing the ride to be terribly bumpy.

There was one point during the ride that Sesha thought the Jeep was going to roll. She closed her eyes and begged for her life. It was all mumbles but she didn't want to die from a car crash in these demon infested world. Sesha noticed the skyscrapers turn into shabby apartments and finally saw the parkway. As the Jeep stopped she jumped out of the back to look at the mansion she had once called home. She drew in a breath as she noticed a light glowing in one of the windows. She never knew that there was power in that building.

Sesha stepped up next to Quell, "Is it just me or did someone else get here first?" She readied her staff as she looked at the light glowing there, almost daring them to come in. She wanted to rush the house and kill whatever it was but what if it was a human? She looked to Lupe and wondered what kind of being she actually was. Sesha didn't feel an evil omitting from her but it wasn't the kindest thing either. She shrugged it off and decided the light was the top thing of importance at the moment.
