The sands stirred as the lone man backed away quickly. Blood was covering him making him seem like a demon. Each step he took discoloured the sand turning it slightly red. His eyes were blood shot from what he had seen and fear was griping but he forced himself backwards. The town he had lived in was destroyed and the sand blew around it like a hurricane but that wasn’t why he was scarred. A whip flicked out towards the mans legs knocking him to his back. A large shadow covered the man before his metallic scream was ended by a sharp blade.

The tenth legion marched, there pace enough to slow any normal men to the extent of exhaustion. A large horn echoed around the troops and the slowed to a stop gazing ahead at the large mass of Helvetii. They drew there swords slowly keeping there gaze on the enemy, another horn blew and the troops marched forward ounce more realising that the Helvetii were starting there charge. The tenths faces were cold as they marched realising what was to come.

The year is 58 BC and you are part of Julius Ceasers army you have the choice of what you want to be as long as it isn’t Ceaser or a general. E.G: Scouts, Legionaries, Centurions, Archers, Cavalry. There is no god modding and power playing.

Back story: He grew up in a small village a few miles away from Rome doing farm work until the chance came for him to join a legion. He left early to get to the grounds outside the city and find a standard to join in. He noticed a flag with only a few men around and decided to go for it. He trained with Julius and finally got accepted as a Centurion. During his first fight in Gaul against the Helvetii his legion had ran and all the runners was forced to kill every tenth man from his legion with there fists. This is how the tenth formed and now he is here in a large valley in the middle of Gaul marching towards the enemy.
