Hi all,
I'm looking to write a zombie survival roleplay, mainly focusing on survival rather than combat. I don't want other humans to be just as much a threat as zombies, and introduce some side tasks, mad max style arena combat for example. Any ideas which system would be best?
All Flesh Must Be Eaten -
pros, no 'hero' style characters, realistic actions and skills
Cons, can't find combat types or stats for 'raider' style enemies, rule books focus solely on zombie combat
GURPS -
Pros, realistic, can reuse rule books for other styles of role play in the future
Cons, I'm inexperienced as a DM and this system seems too open ended
D20 Modern -
Pros, I already play DnD, easy to create my encounters
Cons, seems to focus solely on combat, characters will be beefed up beyond standard people and will turn into 'heroes'
Do you agree with my comments? Any advice on what would work around what I perceive to be as the cons?
