Name: David Leeroy
Age: 22
Rank: Ensign 1st Class
Job: Pilot/2541st Fighter Squadron Leader, is also a competent Mobile Suit Pilot.
Callsign: Gahruda 1, EV-2541-G1
Apperance:
Dislikes: AA-Artilery, unmanned veichles, people unable to follow orders correctly, the annoying bleeping noise that sounds as soon as the onboard computer things you're to close to the ground, potatoes, people not staying in formation, the ground (causes unexpected ejection when facing it), getting shot at.
Likes: Missles, bullets, cannons, lasers, rockets, bombs, torpedos, ye olde russian military music, ye olde video games, shooting at things, complex airel/spacial manuvres, dive-bombing, the warm fuzzy feeling you get inside when you launch a ZX-9811 Class Quick Manuvre Combat Missle at a target, then fly through the ensuing explosion.
Personalty: Somewhat arrogant and competitive, but follows orders without question. Out of combat he more laid back and friendly. In combat however he is more uptight and always taking risks to complete the mission before those bastards in 2543rd squadron do, unless of course that risk leads to the complete destruction of him and his Squadron, then he is all for the alternative. He has a somewhat larger ego than average.
Weapons: Either a fighter or a bomber and its weaponry, a SMG, a pistol, a bowie knife.
History: Born in Darwin, Earth in 2218. David left school and joined the Earth Space Navy Reserve to train as a freighter pilot, his instructor saw his potential and recomended he become a Pilot, David trained at the Ayres Rock Navy Collage for 3 years before earning his pilot wings, but not before he broke the landing gears of eight of his training craft and almost ditched one in the Indian Ocean.
One year later he was flying as an escort to USS Galleio, a frigate doing search and destroy of Terrian freighters supplying one of their skirmishes. His frigate was engaged by a Terrian Heavy Cruiser and his squadron were forced to defend the Galleio. David's Wing regrouped and flew as a screen to block enemy fire before being ordered to cripple the enemy engines. David went a little to far with the order and landed the killing blow on the engines causing the Heavy Crusier to explode and split in half. When David's fighter reached the hanger it was on fire earning him the callsign Gahrudah.
David recived the Space Force Distinguished Service Cross for his actions in the battle and from that day onward had a larger ego than normal.
Other: The 457th Fighter Wing is one of the most experienced in the Navy. David's Squadron, the 2541st is no exception.
