Name: Brice Shadowake

Appearance/Pic: Short, spiky black hair, with two huge spikes of hair that jut out the front and tilt downward. He is ghostly pale and has listless black eyes, they somehow manage to catch no light, and therefore there is no reflection in them. He is rather frail looking, definitely not a fighter type. His eyes are always half-closed.

Powers: The Shadowflame: Brice acquired this power by finding the essence of Darkness, Unholy, Shadow, and Negative energy, binding the four together with the element Fire he created a god-like being known as The Shadowflame which resides inside him.

Abilities-

Shadow Ball- The most basic of Shadowflame abilities is the shadow ball, a concentrated ball of shadows fired from the hand at enemies.

Shadow Laser- A more focused version of the shadow ball, the shadow laser is the concentrated energies of shadows collected into a small beam that quickly travels, allowing for expert accuracy and speed.

Shadow Disk- One of the most useful techniques to the Shadowflame master is the Shadow Disk. It is a sharp disk made from the collected shadows near the master, the disk travels toward the target at high speeds, passing through any obstacle in a straight line until it is dispelled or moves too far from the master and disperses. The shadow disk cannot be blocked by any means due to it's ability to travel through the shadows of many realms at once, it is a technique that must be dodged.

Shadow Blast- When a Shadowflame master collects the shadows within his hand or hands and expels it outward in a massive area in front of him, it is known as a Shadow Blast. The blast is a shotgun-like expulsion of shadow energy and flame which blasts forth from the master's hand or hands in a massive area in front of the master. It is recommended that the target try and stay out of range of the shadow blast, due to it's short range but wide spread and force.

Shadow Nexus- Brice long ago found that he could combine the shadow ball, shadow blast, and shadow laser to create an new and devastating technique, something he calls the Shadow Nexus. The shadow nexus is a shadow ball enveloped in a multitude of orbiting lasers, which, when thrown, makes a sort of "disco ball" effect, the lasers firing rapidly in all directions, when the lasers finally disperse, the instability of the ball causes it to explode outward in a large radius.

Shadow Shield- Every Shadowflame master must be physically weak to accept the power of the god, because of the immense amount of energy within, the power of the physical body would strain it too much, causing paralysis or death. Thus, to protect themselves, Shadowflame masters have several techniques developed to defend themselves, one of them being the shadow shield. The shadow shield is a circular area designated by the master where shadows collect themselves to ward off attacks, physical and energy.

Shadow Dome- A more advanced version of the shadow shield, the shadows collect themselves around the master in a dome, blocking attacks from all sides, though the dome is not as resilient as the simple shield due to the fact that it is spread out over a larger area.

Shadow Armor- The most advanced form of the shadow shield, the shadow armor is a thin layer of shadows that is always around the master, acting as a second skin, the armor reflects light, and therefore does not change the master's appearance. The armor is weak, it can block only one attack, but it can prove quite useful against a possible kill shot.

Shadow Scribe- The shadow shield and dome can be used offensively as well as defensively in battle. Shadow scribing is the technique of drawing symbols upon the shadow shield or dome which use the collected energies to form into other techniques. For example, if a master were to scribe upon a dome or shield the symbol he has chosen to represent a shadow ball, he could the shoot shadow balls from the safety of his shield or dome until the energy within the dome or shield ran out, dispelling the shield.

Shadow Portal- The Shadowflame is a mighty being, having used his near infinite power to create a realm of existence for himself, and his masters may travel to that realm using the shadow portal. To create a shadow portal, a master must "rip" open a piece of reality, making a wavering black portal with which the master may step through into the realm of The Shadowflame to escape or to drag an enemy into.

Shadow Splash- The shadow splash is a technique specific to Brice, as is the Shadow Nexus. The shadow splash occurs as Brice is hit, his shadow armor creating a portal inside itself, which Brice then sinks into, leaving his shadow armor to take the hit in full for him.

Shadow Manipulation- Due to the nature of the Shadowflame, his masters can easily manipulate and control the shadows around them, allowing them to grab things and people.

Shadow hands- The same as the shadow manipulation technique, except that the shadows used become like hands or tentacles able then to follow the commands of the master.

Shadow Crush- All things create a shadow, and askilled master can use even his enemies shadows against them. If the master can touch the shadow of his opponent he can raise it into existence to grapple his enemy.

Negative Corruption- The only power of the negative energies of the Sadowflame, Negative Corruption is a frightful technique. If the master makes contact with a living creature, he may send a series of waves through the body of it, each wave killing the flesh and body of the creature little by little, if contact is disengaged then the corruption ceases, but all that was corrupted while contact was made remains so.

Unholy Power- While a Shadowflame master cannot be physically strong, he can grant physical strength to others, this is known as Unholy Power. He manifests the infernal energies of unholy to grant the target demonic strength for a time, the longer the master holds this upon a person, the more energy it wastes.

Mind Shatter- Darkness is not an element of sight, but of mind and soul. If a Shadowflame master chances the risk of getting close to an enemy, and if he manages to get his hand or hands upon the opponents head, he may use the power of darkness to make a void inside the mind, wiping from them all memories and knowledge, making making them much like a child again, in mind at least.

Soul Rip- The idea of this technique is the same as the Mind Shatter, if the master chances to get close to his enemy and can land a successful hit with one or both hands, he can envelop the soul in darkness, ripping it out of the body and sending it to the realm of The Shadowflame. This technique is very dangerous though, because it takes a long amount of time to remove the soul, time which can be used to attack the master.

Equipment: Brice wears a tattered black hooded cloak, underneath is a tight black body suit covered in belts. On his back underneath the cloak is a symbiotic claw, his weapon. When the blades of the claw unfold it is three feet long. The symbiotic weapon gives Brice itself to use as a weapon, and takes from him the dark energies that Brice naturally exudes.

Other: Remeber, the Shadowflame is far from being an all powerful deity, and while the power he grants to his masters may seem frightful at times, the power itself comes from a less-than-infinite source, and the power of any Shadowflame master, Brice included, can be depleted with the overuse of powerful techniques.

Aterisk silently entered into the field, a vast desert awaited him and he knew exactly what was happening around him. "So... the games have begun then?" he asked no one. Looking around towards the distance he set off in search of the other contestants. Who would he find first and would he be able to win? He didnt really know. He drew out his sword Talisman and activated it. "Sword of Fate. Take the form of Distance" the talisman dissapated and was replaced with an empty bow.
As if preparing arrows he produced a wind talisman and held it between two of his fangers. Now the hun had begun.
