If you can't shoot diagonally, then how did I get plastered by those two drones when the default shooting range is two squares?

If you look at the official U.S Airforce Military Ranks (found on page 2, second post.) Airman are typically found in Air Force Bases; but are usually in training for the duration. An Air force Cadet is a man who has proven himself in the air, and is actually an Officer in rank, not a regular Grunt.
