Ushimitsudoki swings around on the branch holding on with his hands and having his feet agianst the branch and says, "Hi hi. WHATS WITH THE THROWING OF THE KNIFE TRYING TO KILL ME OR SOMETHING."

Midnight grabs the blade with his claw, his dragonscales protecting his hand from being cut, and he throws the blade out wide not a long diversion but long enough to get it out of the way. Then he swings his blade hard with his left hand to chop the guy in half.
