Ok, where is everyone getting the idea that the troll is in a room? I clearly stated that the cave was at the top of a hill, and at the back of the cave it opens up into the goblin village and the troll is on a throne in the center of the village.

I see the similarities, but the one for this rp is different. And while I was not ripping off the other game, the idea of a fractured blade is far from unique and it's only natural that another game would have a similar lore surrounding a similar blade.

ok just making sure I understand, is Juniper wanting to prevent the troll hunting group from going after the shard after killing the troll or is she wanting to stop the villain with the shard who is controlling the troll and get the shard from him?

well technology has only come so far, so I would say that a robot could be like a pet or an advanced appliance, but as a fully self-aware being I'd say that the tech isn't there in this world. So yes you can have one, but it can't be fully intelligent or self aware, only a helper or tool.
