Re: Depression roleplay

I wasn't expecting it to be long. In fact, my plan for it, which had an ending but no real goal, was that it wouldn't last that long. But as I've said, right now the biggest thing I'm working on is to have a goal for the writers. If I can get something definate, then I've got most of the rest of it ...

Re: The "Drop something and get killed by it" Game!

I put the fecal matter on a punji stick and when going to leave get impaled on it.

I drop a bag of tiny marshmellows.

Re: Religion vs Science: Clinging to Ideas and Beliefs

Well, the problem is that at one time, we took science to be truth or religion to be truth, depending on the times and places. But, over time, those that took the times and chances, they discovered that we can always have human error. With that in mind, we can make theories, laws and conclusions. Bu...

Luke and the Grey Sky

This is a story that I did in a writing challenge between a couple of friends and myself, you had 10 minutes to write a story, about 5-8 to reread it, edit it and if you needed, add a quick ending. I did this a few years ago, but if you want to give any feedback on it, feel free. Luke and the Gray S...

Re: What would you do if...

Well, it depnds. First, do I have pants? Let us assume I do. What floor is it on? Let us assume, high up. Three minutes? I go out into the hall, lay on the stairs like I'm passed out, wait for the owners to pass and bolt down the stairs. What would you do if it was open mic night and you suddenly fo...

Re: A few of my favorite quotes - What's yours?

"You can't stop here, this is BAT COUNTRY!"- Hunter S. Thompson "Nothing amiss? I'm sitting here wearing a red and white, checked gingum dress and army boots. You think that's unamiss?"- Arnold J. Rimmer "How I'm looking? I'm lookin' GOOD! How I'm I looking now? I'm STILL lo...

Re: Depression roleplay

Thanks for the advice. I know that the first part, the conflict, is the whole point of my roleplay, although I would hope to be creative enough myself for the eventual conflicts to be more than "life." I did have plans for the conflict and I hoped, when I screened characters for the story,...

Re: Religion vs Science: Clinging to Ideas and Beliefs

Not that this brings any significant changes to anything that has already been discussed here or elsewhere, but, sorry, I couldn't resist it. XD If I hear (or read, for that matter) one more creationist saying "Darwin's theory is just a theory, so creationism is still possible", I'm going...

Depression roleplay

Sorry if this isn't really how this is supposed to be presented, but I'm looking to find people who want to join it, but more importantly advice in how to start/run it. Hi, I'm new on here, but I've been roleplaying for a while. There's an idea for one that I've been wanting to try out for a while, ...

Um, uh, so, yeah, about that...

Hi, I was recommended to this by someone who told me about it after I complained of being unable to find any good, quality role plays online for several years. He neglected, however, to tell me he hadn't actually tried any role plays on here, so I feel kind of alone at the moment, but I'm reading th...
