I know I'm new to the RP.. and my character isn't exactly conventional, but she does know magic, and had a motherly personality... so I don't think it's too far fetched for her to learn healing magic too? If you want of course?

Yep, the device is to help find alyssa... you guys are on the outskirts of the city in a forest... and Alyssa is just on the inner of the outskirts.. About 20 or so blocks in...
