Mythology meets Reality

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Moonspirit22 on Tue Apr 29, 2008 2:13 pm

In another world very similar to ours, there is one giant difference. That world is ruled by the Greek, Egyptian and Norse myths. Each human has to power to call on and transform into a mythic animal of either Greek, Norse or Egyptian legend. The gods have died long ago, and so it was up to the humans to keep themselves alive. One took up control of the sun, another control of the moon, another controls the oceans and water, etc. But, not all humans are good, and some, for the lust of power and because of greed, has begun a war, which has been prophsised by an Oracle would turn into Ragnarok, the destruction of the world, if it does not finish. Are you for helping Ragnarok become a reality, or not?

4. Chimera: Monsters with a fore body of a lion, middle of a goat and hind and tail of a dragon. Breaths Fire.

5. Neamen Lion: Lions that cannot be pierced by weapons. Has a powerful roar that can deafen humans, not mythic beasts.

Egyptian:

1. Apep's Children: Giant Poisonous serpents that strangle and crush humans, not mythic beasts.

2. Animals of Set: Cursed animals that are faster and stronger then normal ones. Can be any animal, not mythic beasts.

3. Sons of Horus: Feather-covered Humans with the heads of Birds and Talons. No wings. Very fast and agile, can kill several humans at once, not mythic beasts. Skilled at hand-to-hand combat.

Name: Project Anubis
Age: 15
Mythic Beast: Guardian of Anubis
For or Against the war: For
Appearance: human: he has a lot of scars on his back but they are covered by the large trench coat he wares, he has a hooded top under the coat and his hood is always up keep his face shaded, has jeans and skate shoes on.
Anubis Guard: He turns almost like a ware wolf but thinner, after change he has the old Egyptian headdress on (like on the statues of Anubis) and his teeth are usually bared making them stand out against the short black fur on him.
Bio: At his birth he was chosen as the so called son of the mortal Anubis. The mortal god demanded that his son would be trained to fight in his name. As the young guardian grew and he learnt of his fathers plans he defied, his father was furious with this and had him sent away to a dark dungeon in the heart of Egypt and tortured. Many months past before he was broken and eventually he was able to transform into this creature. The news spread to The Mortal God and he summoned the release of his son and that he was brought to him. The Guardian knelt at the feet of the God and was sent away back to the dungeon. The other Guardians were confused at what he had done wrong before they dragged him back. Years past and eventually his son was taken back to the mortal god, The god asked him what his name was and the guardian replied Project Anubis. The god had realised he had forgot his original name (Mysraek) and was proud that his son would be his finest weapon yet.

Project Anubis (Anubi for short) finds himself in the side of the street lying on a old newspaper in the heart of newyork.

(sorry for the DP, but we can BEGIN!!!)

Vada flew of over the tops of skyscrapers, passing other phoenix's, Valkyrie's, and Nidhogg's. She had recently moved to NYC, and she wanted to investigate the City while her Mom and Dad, a Neamen Lion and a Cyclops, unloaded stuff and furniture.

Anubi slowely pushed himself off the floor, gazing at the buildings towering above him. Yeah they had monuments in Egypt but nothing compared this. Baring his teeth he flicked his hood up and walked slowely into the city growling at the cars as they sped past him. Everything he saw made him hate the world even more. A large opening appeared as if from no were allowing Anubi to stumble into as he thought before they were broken by a car slamming into his side and sending him across the road. (sos I dunno what to right sao it not very good)
