Tice climbed into one of the beds provided and turned to face the wall. He was tucked in a corner, which always made him feel more secure. He lay still and tried to get to sleep.

Takden woke up early the next morning. He scratched his head and yawned. Slowly, Takden stood up and streched his long, thin arms. He looked around the small house to see that everyone seemed to be sleeping still and wondered how early in the morning it really was.

"Morning." Takden said quietly, avoiding direct eye contact with Tice. He moved a small clump of his untidy black hair from in front of his eyes as his gaze turned towards the spectacular scenery outside the little hut. A small smile came across his face as looked at the outside world.

Willow heared voices and knew it was time to wake up. He couldn't help it, he was just always sleepy, or just lazy. "Please...Just a little longer..."He said very sleepy and without opening his eyes. He turned around. "A little longer..."He whispered before falling asleep again.

Tice nodded. "Now or never," he agreed, stifling another yawn and making sure his warm cloak was clasped firmly about his neck. He fastened his makeshift rope belt tighter around his brown trousers and picked up the staff he had taken from the magician who had christened him Apprentice.

"Right then, let's go!" Takden said, as he slipped on an extra, stained shirt to keep him warm over the period of time it would take them to reach their destination. "It's going to get cold so make sure you keep warm." Takden warned. He put one boot-covered foot outside the small hut, and then the other. Their journey had finally started and Takden smiled to himself as he thought of the promise he and his companions had made so long ago.
"Let's make a promise, to reach out destination without a single one of us getting lost on the way. We'll all make it." Takden said as he turned to face Tice and the others.
