No one understood what was happening. The illness came in one big sweep, and within a year it took the lives of so many. They called it Idiopathic Adolescent Acute Neurodegeneration, or IAAN for short. It affected kids between the ages of 8-13. One day, they would be perfectly healthy, and the next their body would crumble in on itself; coughing up blood, grotesquely blistering skin, an inability to move, to talk, to think. Their brain became mush, Death came fairly quickly after that. 98% percent of the worlds children between that age range died. The other surviving 2% lived, yet had their own unfortunate outcome from IAAN.

These 2% of children changed in ways no person can understand. They gained powers. The government calls them the afflicted. They are classified by colour and danger level. The least dangerous, level 5, are green. Individuals display an increased intelligence and gain photographic memory. They are said to have better problem solving skills and display immense talent in technological interfaces. They appear the most normal of the five classifications The fourth level is blue, the power of Telekinesis. Individuals with this power have the ability to move objects with their mind. Yellow, the third classification, are when the powers start to be considered more dangerous. Yellows have electrokinetic powers, able to create and control electricity. The second, oranges, are telepathic. They are able to read minds, influence other's actions, manipulate their thoughts and memories, and alter the emotions of other's. They have varying level of control over each of their abilities, some more strong than others. It is important to note that these individuals under this classification have a tendency to suffer from mental instability due to their powers, especially depending on how much they use them. The last classification, considered the most dangerous, are the reds. They are pyrokinetic, able to control, create, and manipulate fire. They are considered rare. As a result of their powers, they are typically more unstable and many have an uncontrollable body twitch.

The government was scared of them. People were scared of them. Their was no reason that these abominations should walk around freely. So they created camps, places in which they could safety contain these people and separate them from society. Parent's were supposed to inform local authorities as soon as their child started displaying powers. They did constant checks with any child registered between the ages of 8 and 13. It was hard to slip under the radar.

These camps are cruel places. The green and blues typically have more freedom to roam around. They do simple labour, cook, garden, anything that needs to be done in and around camp. The yellows were often separated in their contained plastic areas, with no electrical anywhere. The oranges were typically isolated as much as possible. The red's were kept completely separated. Their are rumours that as soon as they got out of line, they were killed. All around there's mistreatment by the guards.

It's been 7 years since the year IAAN changed everything. Our story follows a particular group of people, separated by a very unfortunate circumstance. These guys had been together from the start. All of them managed to escape their parents and the cops at the beginning, and eventually they all found on another. For four years they were family, running and trying to survive without getting caught and detained. All good things must come to an end, however. One night they had found an abandoned RV. They planned to stay in it before leaving to find a more private space the next morning. Someone had tipped the cops after seeing one of them in and around the gas station. Their was a raid, and not everyone managed to escape.

Half of them were sent to live in a camp, and out of the pain of knowing the other's were out there and the fear of being forced to give their families location away, their Orange friend wiped away all their memories and her own of the family they had been separated from. They've been living in the camp with four years of blacked out memories.

Their family on the outside, however, never forgot them. In the three years they've been separated, these three found more and more runaway or escaped afflicted. They created a camp, currently situated in the middle of nowhere in Oregon. They have their own shelter, food supply, security measures. They have connections. Through these connections, they found out which camp their lost family was at. They also heard that there was going to be a transfer of afflicted to another camp. Lucky for them, all three where going to be on that bus. Now is their time to break them out, only they are unaware of the fact these three will have no recollection of who they are.

They just want their family back.

Based on The Darkest Minds Trilogy by Alexandra Bracken.

I.xxxI know there are currently only 6 character slots, but this simply means I will only be accepting 6 roleplayers. If those six role players choose to take a second character, I am fine with having more than six characters in this role play.
II.xxxCharacters must be between the ages of 15-20.
III.xxxSince I don't want an overwhelming amount of one power compared to the other, I will allow two of each power classification at one time. I will make a list in the reservation spot in the OOC as to what power classification's are available.
IV.xxxPlease reserve your character in the OOC. You have a week's time to complete the character. Please tell me their face claim and power classification as soon as possible. I prefer real face claims.
V.xxxJust to be clear, the 'detained' characters are the ones in the camp currently. The 'location unknown' are the ones who managed to escape before and are breaking the others out.
VI.xxxIf you need a character skeleton, just ask and I'll send you one. I'm not picky with them. Just be sure to include basic character info, personality, history, etc.
VII.xxxPlease, no god modding, Mary Sues etc.
VIII.xxxNo killing anyone's characters or harming them, at least not without their consent.
IX.xxxRomance is great! Just don't go into some of the "details" that may occur.
X.xxxTry and include everyone! If you're stuck for ideas, message me and I can help out.
XI.xxxPost should be 3 paragraphs and above 500 words. I want you active! Please try to get a post in maybe once/twice per week.
XII.xxxhis isn't necessarily first come first serve. I may just ask you to send me a sample post just to see your skill~
XIII.xxxFeel free to send me a message with any questions or concerns you may have. ^^ Once all the character's are reserved, I'll post a lot more information about possible direction to take this roleplay in, how we are going to start, more info on the camp, their powers, etc.

All Maggie heard was the sound of lapping waves. They didn’t crash on the shore with defining noise, nor did they hit a daunting cliff face while lighting cracked, as if it were a perfect soundtrack to a gothic novel. The waves were simple. Soft. They chilled Maggie’s toes.

As her gaze slowly moved up from the sandy ground, her eyes traced over a lake that reflected the sky so well it could fool her into believing she could swim through the clouds. She felt a sense of wonderment fill her chest, as if filling a hole that had been missing for quite some time. Everything around her made her feel warm, from the birdsong that floated through the air to the flower beds spread wild. She hadn’t even minded the pollen that tickled her nose.

After a few minutes, she began to notice chatter and laughter behind her. Her reaction was odd. That pure wonderment she experienced soon turned to a feeling of love. To a feeling of being at home, to being at peace. She’d felt a happiness she couldn’t recall feeling before.

β€œ
Maggie?” someone called from the noise behind her, snapping her out of the daze she’d enveloped herself in. A small smile inched from the corner of her mouth as she began to turn around to face whoever had called her, but the scene faded away the second she caught a glimpse of brunette hair.

Rubbing her eyes, she slid from under the scratchy grey blanket that did shit all to keep her warm. Her bare feet touched the concrete stone under her, and even after three years of being here, that sudden chill of cool stone still sent a shocking shiver up her spine. As if on cue, the little slot on her heavily locked and mechanically powered door slid open, and a tray of mush food was slid under.

The only time Magnolia ever hears someone call her Maggie anymore is in that dream. It reoccurs nearly every night; she’s standing in front of a lake, someone calls out to her, and she wakes up just before she can look to who it is. That warm feelings always vanishes as soon as reality awakens.

She doesn’t get called Maggie by anyone here. Hell, not even Magnolia. She’s just an orange, a prisoner. Not like she has much interaction anyways. The only time she sees anyone is when guards file in after knocking her useless with the white noise.

She hates the white noise. Though, she can't imagine anyone liking it if the effects work on them. She has no idea how they even created such an awful thing, how this certain high pitched noise could be so hurtful and ear bleeding that all Maggie can do, all anyone under the IAAN colour classification field can do, is crumple to the ground ground, covering their ears and scream and throw up from the shear pain. It was like your head exploding but it hasn’t brought you death. Just the inability to do anything except focus on your brain as it keeps getting bombed even after it’s turned to liquid.

Yeah, she’s in no state to use her powers when that’s going on. Bastards in the Camp: 1, IAAN Kids: 0.

Maggie chose to ignore the metal platter at the base of her door. When you’re fed the most basic, non-nutritional food that was cheapest to provide, one’s appetite just dissipates. She was fourteen when she came here. Though she grew taller, she still fit the grey sweats that had been issued to her. If anything, they were a little too big for her frame.

Pressing the button at the side of her door (meant to alert whoever was outside her locked door that she was finished), the metal slot slid back open and she pushed the tray out without a second though. She clambered back onto her bed.

Just another day in her orange issued, isolated, concrete room. Truly a perk that no one could come near her while she was cognitive in fear that she would control them. Not like she would stupidly try like she first had when she’d gotten here. There were too many people. She could break one mans mind at a time, only to have to do it over and over again. As soon as she was caught, they’d shoot her on the spot, no questions. She’d heard the occasional gun shot outside her door. Didn’t take her much to figure out what had gone on out there.

There wasn’t much to do in a bland room by one’s self. Shocker, she knows. Occasionally they slipped in a few things. A piece of paper. A torn book. But really she was just left with her thoughts. She barley even had any memories to keep her entertained, to recall in order to pass the time. She remembered her parents, bits and pieces of her childhood. But after she left her window to run away there was just… silence. Blackness. It was like she’d been asleep from that point on until she was fourteen and entering the camps electric fenced gate. She didn’t know who took her memories, or what happened. Maybe it was the camp. A form of taking away what little freedom she may have had during that missing time period. Maybe the dream she always had was a memory. It seemed too real not to beβ€”

White noise filled her room, and Maggie let out a high pitched scream as she lurched over and hit the ground. No matter how many times this happened, it was just as worse as the last. Covering her ears, she couldn’t breath, couldn’t think. Her stomach lurched as her eyes were downcast on the grey floor. Too soon, the noise stopped, but the effects lasted.

There was a swift kick to her side where she had curled up in a ball. She grunted, but even the hit to the ribs wasn’t as painful as the throb in her head. β€œWhen we give you food, you fucking eat it,” growled the guard. Turning her head with a painful groan, Maggie drank the feeling now of cool concrete. The guard was young. A shiny newness was written on his face. Excitement. Maggie had never had a guard enter her room before alone. It was a rule to go in pairs when encountering an orange. This guy was reckless. Stupid. He was power hungry, looking to excerpt dominance over anyone he could. He just picked the first target he could; Maggie.

Stupid move.
Slipping into his mind, she felt as if she was pushing through gross sludge. She wasn’t interest in looking at his memories or listening to his sickening thoughts. She just had one goal.

β€œBack away now,” Maggie spoke, as she pushed the action into his head. She envisioned him doing it, projecting it to his mind. No room for him to ignore the compulsion. β€œI’ll kill you, you stupid bitch-”, β€œyou will not hurt me. Keep yelling useless threats.” Maggie stated intensely, though her tone was hushed. Maggie was still playing fear. There were cameras in her room after all. She had to be careful.

As the guard continued to rattle off aimless yells, Maggie continued speaking, facing her head away from the camera so they couldn’t see her lips moving. β€œyou aren’t ever going to enter my room again by yourself, nor will you enter any other room. Do not hurt or kill any of us.” Maggie had to stop to suck in a sharp intake of breath. She was starting to feel the pain in her ribs as she whispered. β€œIf you are ordered to hurt or kill someone, fake it. Now leave my room, and forget this conversation happened. You came in here, hit me, yelled at me, and left. That’s it.” The man obeyed without another word, turning away.

Just before he left, Maggie quickly muttered, still very much in a painful heap on the ground, β€œdon't lock the door.”

The last few weeks for Anthony had been, well hell to say the least. The second a stray Blue had stumbled upon their camp and recognized their description of Izzy, he had gone into full reconnaissance mode. Pandora occasionally had to stop him from absorbing so much time and effort into locating the facility in which the kid had escaped from. She had been his anchor when he lost Maggie, without her no telling what dark place his mind might've wandered.

"Tony, you're tired. I just think you need to rest a bit, some of the others-". He slammed his fist into the wooden desk, the action causing her to flinch ever so slightly. He pinched the bridge of his nose letting out a labored sigh before giving her a weak glance. While the idea of relaxing and spending time with the others sounded pleasing, it felt wrong. He couldn't relax when he knew those three were locked up going through god knows what. "I-I'm sorry. We're just so close, I can't stop now." The sound of laughter flooded through the door and he lifted up the corner of his mouth in what he hoped was a smile. "Go have fun, I'll be fine. I promise". She slipped out without another word and he returned to scribbling on the (not-so-accurate) map of the facility. With help from Rose, they were able to get a general sense of the guard patterns, layout, and feel for the prison.

With the help from the boy's memories they were able to scramble up enough information and form a plan that, probably wouldn't get them all killed. On the outside it seemed simple enough.

xxxxx- Scale the giant ass concrete wall.
xxxxx- Pandora short circuits the electrical fences allowing them to climb over easily.
xxxxx- Tony and Meera start a huge firework show diversion.
xxxxx- Pandora and Rose sneak their way into the blue and yellow buildings while the guards are all dealing xxxxxwith Tony and Meera.
xxxxx-Quin or the man behind the screen gets them all past codes, guards, and doors.
xxxxx-Tony slips off and gets Maggie.
xxxxx- They fight their way out

The last step had thousands of scribbles and eraser marks through it. He had spent countless hours going through the plan and blanked on the actual escaping part. By the time they had the others no doubt the entire fleet of guards would be there armed with guns and white noise. There was no guarantee that he was getting everyone out of there alive. As a last resort, Tony would ultimately stay behind and hold off the guards enough for everyone else to get out. Of course, he hadn't told anyone about that part of the plan yet, but he still had a small amount of hope that it wouldn't have to come to that. In the end it'd be worth it.

It had been years since the incident at the RV. The thought of it still made him sick to his stomach. The group devoted everything to finding them after that day, but it started to seem hopeless. Tony could barely sleep with the idea that Grayson, Izzy, and Maggie believed they had given up looking.

Maggie. The thought of her being locked up in some concentration camp made him sleepless. It's your fault. It should've been you. You could've stopped it. It's all he could think after the incident. It drove him insane. He would've given anything just to switch places with her, just to see her again. He would always have a reoccurring nightmare, a few weeks after. They'd be sitting on the steps of that RV, laughing, and they'd lean in for a kiss and she was gone. Ripped from his fingers. Each night he'd wake up abruptly, panicked and terrified, burning holes through the bed sheets.

____________________________________________________________

"Tony?" The quiet knock came from Kaity. A 12 year old Blue they had found huddled in an abandoned supermarket. He was shoving various things inside a battered jansport backpack that he had still had from his childhood. "Pandora told me to come get you. They're ready". Tony let out the quietest shaky breath, and nodded his head adding in a small friendly smile to mask his fear. "Thanks Kait". She gave him a beaming smile and skipped out the doorway, leaving him alone. He missed feeling so innocent, not having a care about the world. These days it felt as if the world was on his shoulders.

He fumbled to shove the small piece of notebook paper that contained the "plan", an idea very well could get them killed. His right hand was uncontrollably shaking, a red tick, that he couldn't stop. "Damnit"
He muttered, trying several more times before giving up and shoving the paper in the small, open pocket of the backpack. He slung the strap over his shoulder and headed outside, where the group endured the most quiet car ride of their life.

They parked about a mile from the giant facility, stashing the car behind some bushes. Nobody dared speak a word on their quiet descent to the looming concrete wall. Tony wasn't sure if it was the fact that there was a possibility none of them would walk out of here alive, or they didn't want to alert any of the guards nearby. As they finally came to the edge of the forest Tony stopped and turned back towards the group, an unreadable expression on his face. "Well, this is probably one of the riskiest things we've ever done, and I can't guarantee anything. If things go south I'll try to hold them off as long as I can but you all need to use that to get the hell out. You have to promise that none of you will stay behind, I can't have any of you get taken, not again." This would probably be noted as one of the most depressing pep talks in history, but Tony didn't have any hope left to give. This was their last chance to save their friends.

He went over the plans once more, and another just for precaution. If one thing went wrong it could have a catastrophic domino effect. He turned to Pandora first, giving her a curt nod, and a reassuring squeeze of her shoulder. "After we get over that wall, you're first up Sparky. I don't know how much time we have before we set of some kind off alarm so you're going to have to work fast, are you ready?" Even though his eyes were focused on Pandora he meant the last bit for everyone.

On the walk to the facility, Pandora was quiet. She had finally cleared her mind of all of her doubts. Happily she smiled at Tony when he stopped and turned around. The smile stayed on her face even as he continued to speak. I’ll be dammed if I let Tony hold them off if things go south. I will stay before I let anyone else stay. It wouldn’t be fair to Maggie if Tony got trapped or killed. He is her childhood friend. Rose deserves to see her brother again too. As long as Izzy gets out, I’ll be fine. Hell, I won’t even mind being killed or trapped. She came out of he thoughts when Tony gave her shoulder a reassuring squeeze. Had he said something?

β€œI am ready. I’ll go over the wall first and then take care of the fence. Though, everyone start heading to the wall once I am at the top of it. I’ll let everyone know if they should retreat…By the time you guys get over the wall, the fence should be down,” she said as she adjusted her earpiece. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest. Pandora was nervous and scared. Adrenaline ran through her veins. She looked everyone in the eye and hoped this wouldn’t be the last time she saw him or her. The last person her eyes landed on was Tony. She leaned in to make it look like she was going to give Tony a peck on the cheek. She paused. Pandora needed to whisper something to him.

β€œIf things go south, I will stay. They will likely kill you if you get trapped in the camp. You are a red. Just make sure everyone else gets out…and take care of Izzy for me please,” she whispered just before she pecked his cheek. Then she quickly headed towards the wall. The last thing she wanted was to give Tony time to object. Once at the wall, she began to scale it as quickly as possible. She had to pause a few times, but finally got to the top. She ignored the sound of her heartbeat in her ears.

Slowly she took in her surroundings before scaling down the wall. She was still out of breath, but she knew time was of the essence. When she was about five and a half feet from the ground, she let herself dropped. Both feet hit the ground and she flinched at the force. She ignored the discomfort and ran to the fence. Pandora took in a slow deep breath as she grabbed the fence. She allowed her body to absorb the electricity from the fence. As she let out a slow breath, she focused the electricity back into the fence. A few minutes later the fence finally lost power.

Seconds later, the fence regained power. The generators had kicked in. Pandora focused the electricity back into the fence again. She should have taken a break, but she had to be quick. This time when the fence lost power, it didn’t turn back on. Pandora’s heart was pounding. It seemed as if it was ready to fly out of her chest. She felt lightheaded, but she ignored that sensation.

She crotched down to keep somewhat out of sight, the last thing she needed was a guard to see a tall shadowy figure near the fence. The sun was setting, so it would give more cover. As she waited for the others, she concentrated on slow breathing. Come on body, don't give out on me now. I can still climb over this fence and get Izzy. I need to make sure everyone gets out too.

β€œIt must be lonely to be a ghost,” Isaac mused, absentmindedly picking a piece of grass off the brown issued pants that matched the brown uniform all those in his encampment wore. β€œThrowing aimless trinkets just to get the attention of the one’s you loved,” he continued, leaning back so his weight was on his outstretched arms as he gazed at the beautiful sky. β€œMeanwhile the others are still loving that persons rotting corpse, all the while hating and fearing the nuisance they’ve become as a ghost.”

Taking in a deep breath that smelled of fresh rain and the sweat of those around him, Izzy glanced back down at the garden of vegetables he was tasked of taking care of. Sitting up straighter, he reached out to toy with the green top of the carrot burrowed underneath the soil.

β€œNo wonder some ghosts turn bitter. They just want to be remembered, to be seen by any means possible.” Sighing, he pushed himself up from his previous cross-legged position on the ground, and picked up the watering can. Tilting it so it sprinkled out little droplets of water, not wanting to over do it as it had rained the previous night, he almost missed the passing comment of the green walking behind him who muttered, β€œdude, you’re so fucking weird.”

Well, maybe next time he wouldn’t eavesdrop on Isaac’s conversations with his plants, not that he wouldn’t have minded the green joining inβ€” but that would never happen. No one here made friends even if Izzy tried.

It wasn’t as if some of the greens and blues around didn’t want to be friendly or partially sociable in a positive way. It was just that the guards never liked it very much. If two people got close, or if a group got close, then they became concerned that they would conspire a way to get free. At least that’s what Izzy thought. It made the most common sense considering the situation.

Whistling a little tune softly, Izzy continued on with his job of watering plants, giving a small smile to any other IAAN kid who looked his way. The struggle of the camps showed on all their faces, as he was sure it showed on his. By no means was life here wonderful. They had no freedom, even if they were allowed outside to do jobs and chores unlike some of the others colours. They could mingle (within reason). Guards were around more, scattered like little seeds, always keeping an eye. The white noise was frequent, if one person stepped out of line, they all suffered the consequences.

If the guard felt like using someone as a punching bag, no one would really stop it until it got to a dangerous point. Sometimes not even then.

Izzy couldn’t remember the past couple of years in his life, no care in the world why. He didn’t care to even think of the life he could remember. This was all he knew now. He had to find a way to survive, to keep uplifted. Talking to his plants was one of the ways he kept himself sane, though he did get a kick to the head and face full of dirt when some of the guards heard him do it. However, that’s not as bad as when he absentmindedly uses his powers. It happened more often than he cared to admit.

Setting the watering can down, Izzy brushed the soil off of his palms and placed his hands on his hips, examining the garden below him. They veggies were growing quite nicely, if he did say so himself. Then again, all the gardens he had attended to over the past three years n this camp had. Of course, if they would get him better and more proper materials, they would grow even better, but beggars can't be choosers. Well... in this case it's more like prisoners can't be choosers. C'est la vie.

Picking up his materials, holding them like an awkward cluttered bay in his hands, Izzy made his way over to on of the supply sheds on the compound yard. He had done his first task for the day. Now it was time to make way and pull various weeds. He didn't mind the chores they assigned really. It kept him busy, even if his hands were extremely rough, calloused, and cut.

Setting his things down in the respective spot, he grabbed a plastic bag that he could throw the weeds into and made it back outside. He stopped, visibly startled, when a little droplet of rain hit him splat on the forehead and dripped down to the tip of his nose. Looking back up at the sky, squinting one eye shut to fend off the clear rays of the sun, he saw rain clouds quickly moving in and the pace of the new rain increased.

Giving a small pout, Izzy mumbled disappointingly, "Oh no, my plants."

Rose silently went over the so-called plan in her mind, again and again. The blonde wasn't very happy with the vagueness of the group's plan for infiltrating the camp, since she very much preferred to know exactly what she was doing, but Rosemary couldn't afford to be picky in this situation. She and the other IAAN kids had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (an opportunity that had very little wiggle room, but an opportunity nonetheless), and Rose wasn't going to let it go to waste.

Three years. It had been three years since Rose had last seen her brother, and without Rory in her life, Rose was fully aware that her mental state definitely wasn't the healthiest. She and Rory were incredibly close, despite their four-year age difference. Rose was infinitely angry at her elder brother for allowing himself to get captured in order to save her, but beneath that blind anger was grief and silent mourning.

Rose was an incredibly logical thinker - almost to the point of heartlessness. No matter her emotional connections to someone, if it benefited the situation, the blonde would have thrown them into a smelting pit with no regrets. She was known among her peers to be rather cold and harsh with her thinking - she never acted upon her heart, only upon her head. However, Rory was the one and only exception to all of that.

That's why Rose so willingly chose to go with her team's shaky plan. In any other circumstance, Rose would've noted the low success rate of the mission, and with that in mind, wholeheartedly back out of the entire shenanigan, saying it was far too risky, given the costs. But having the chance to save her brother lured the blonde in, and at this point, there was no backing out.

Rosemary was shaken out of her thoughts as someone rapped their knuckles on the wall sharply. She turned her head, a harsh yet passive look in her currently silver eyes. The seventeen-year-old green who had requested her attention - Kennedy Marlow, the only ambiguous person Rose knew an inkling about - had been around long enough to grow used to Rose's default expression. The kid beamed at the blonde, ignoring the coldness in her gray eyes. "Hey, Rose!" they greeted cheerily, unaffected by Rose's stoic behavior. "You might've already known this, but Pandora, Tony, and the others are all ready to go!" Kennedy's face fell slightly before they continued with their speaking. "This mission is risky, so good luck. But knowing you guys, Rose, you and the others will definitely pull it off!" Rose cocked her head slightly at Kennedy's overly optimistic behavior - it reminded her of Isaac Neill, who she wasn't very fond of, in all honesty.

"Despite our abilities," Rose countered, "the plan still has a rather low success rate. But your encouragement, although slightly unrealistic, is appreciated." Rose stood up, heading out the door as Kennedy beamed, unfazed by Rose's bluntness.

"Go kick some ass!" Kennedy cheered, ignoring the irked out stares sent their way. Rosemary waved them off on reflex, and at the gesture, Kennedy bounced off to talk to their very small group of friends.

Rose nodded in greeting at the others as she settled into the car. The entire team was completely silent throughout the entire car ride, no one bothering to make a sound.

The group parked about a mile or so away from the facility, hiding their car before they began their trek. As the group reached the edge of the forest, Tony turned around, a somber but mainly neutral expression on his face. "Well, this is probably one of the riskiest things we've ever done, and I can't guarantee anything. If things go south I'll try to hold them off as long as I can but you all need to use that to get the hell out. You have to promise that none of you will stay behind, I can't have any of you get taken, not again."

"Bullshit," Rosemary interrupted immediately. "You're a red, Tony; if they catch you, there's a very large chance that you'll be killed on the spot. Besides, you're one of us too. No need to act all noble in putting us first, you should be concerned with your safety as well."

After that, Tony went over the team's plans, making sure to cover all the details (there aren't many, Rose noticed glumly). Tony turned to Pandora, squeezing her shoulder before directing his next words to her. "After we get over that wall, you're first up Sparky. I don't know how much time we have before we set of some kind off alarm so you're going to have to work fast, are you ready?"

Pandora adjusted her earpiece slightly before responding. "I am ready," she told the group reassuringly. "I’ll go over the wall first and then take care of the fence. Though, everyone start heading to the wall once I am at the top of it. I’ll let everyone know if they should retreat…by the time you guys get over the wall, the fence should be down." Pandora looked everybody in the eye, before she turned to Tony and whispered something into his ear. Being the type of person she is, Rosemary used her powers to catch a quick glimpse in both Pandora and Tony's minds to get the gist of their conversation.

If things go south, Pandora's staying? Rose mused to herself. Sure, she's not my favorite person in the world, but she has the right idea.

As soon as the dark-haired girl finished speaking to Tony, she dashed away immediately, not giving Tony any time to respond as Pandora started to scale the wall. After Pandora absorbed the electricity in the fence, Rose and the others started up the wall. As Rosemary reached the top of the wall, a guard caught sight of her, freezing for a couple moments. Rose wasted no time; she immersed herself in the guard's mind, forcing him to turn away and walk about 400 meters. She erased his memory of her immediately, forming a new one that made sense with the guard's new position.

Once she got that over with, Rosemary dropped to the ground, wincing slightly at the impact. The guard caught sight of me, Rose sent a telepathic message to the rest of her teammates. I erased his most recent memories and made him walk a considerable distance, so Tony, Meera, you can start with the diversion as Pandora and I get Izzy and Rory out.
