History

Childhood/Family Life:
As the daughter of Sir Philip Green and Tina Green, one would find it easy to believe that Audrey grew up in a silver spoon lifestyle. And she did. She absolutely did. Philip is a British businessman, and the chairman of Arcadia Group, a retail company that includes Topshop, Topman, Wallis, Evans, Burton, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, and Outfit. Tina is a businesswoman too, and owns all the family shares in Jersey-registered Taveta Investments, which in turn, allows her to own 2,300 shops in the United Kingdom, which is equivalent to 12% of the clothing market in the UK. Her parents' success set Audrey up for a lifetime of success too, but while things were perfect financially, internally, they weren't so great. In addition to Audrey, Tina had two children from a previous marriage, who lived in New York with their father, and with Philip, Tina also had two other children, who were Audrey's full siblings. Chloe and Brandon were four and two years older than Audrey, so the three were close enough in age to be close as children. While the older two were able to develop that close relationship, Audrey was not. When she was around six years old, her father got wrapped up in a financial scandal that would have landed him in prison, had he not paid his way out of it before anyone found out. While the media and the public never found out, their inner, elite circle turned their noses up at the Greens for a period of time. One of those people in their inner circle happened to be the Head of Admissions at the prestigious day school that Chloe and Brandon attended, and that Audrey was promptly rejected from, following her father's name being temporarily blacklisted.

As if it was somehow Audrey's fault, but also most likely because her parents were so overwhelmed with business and having to recuperate from this social hit, they opted to send their child of a daughter to a boarding school, Bilton Grange, at just six years old. She spent most of her young life there, where she had little time to connect with her family. Her life wasn't miserable, mind you. Boarding school was all she knew, so her friends and teachers there became the family that she didn't get to experience like most normal children. She quickly learned that the better she did in all aspects of her life - be it academically, with good test scores, or socially, with positive reviews from teachers, meant that her parents would praise and reach out to her more, and the desire to receive attention from them was what fueled Audrey's strong will to be perfect. It began for no reason other than a desire to receive the love and attention from her parents that they didn't give her on a daily basis. She spent grades K-8 at Bilton Grange, before her parents transferred her to Phillips Exeter Academy in the United States of America, for high school. This to was a boarding school, and though the academics were rigorous, Audrey thrived here. She decided that after her positive experience at the school, that she wanted to attend college in the states as well. Her parents wanted her to go to Harvard. If she were to stay in the states, they said, she must go to an Ivy. Neither of her older siblings were exceptionally bright, so Audrey was her parents one shot at being able to rub a successful child into the faces of their friends who had finally accepted them back into their elite social clique. She wanted to make her parents proud, and so she applied to Harvard, but she didn't get in. She didn't tell them that, though. Instead, she pretended that she had absolutely fallen in love with her backup school, Fulton University, and that that was why she so desperately needed to go there. They gave in when it became apparent that she was set on Fulton, and though she didn't fall in love with it for the reasons she told her parents, ultimately, Fulton has proved to be an amazing school for her. The academics are nearly comparable to the Ivy League schools, so she still has a prestigious name on her degree once she graduates, and the social life she's created for herself at Fulton is simply incomparable.

Personality

Image
Image
Image
Quirks//Habits//Oddities:
She purposely calls people by the wrong name to make sure they know that she thinks they're that unimportant | She has a fantastic memory and tends to remember little details about people (hence why her pretending she doesn't know simple things about you is an utter facade) | Her guilty pleasure is chocolate covered strawberries | She alternates between taking hot and cold showers every other day

Good personality traits:
Dedicated, Intelligent, Detail-Oriented, Passionate, Motivated

Bad personality traits:
Controlling, Critical, Perfectionist, Vengeful, Intense

Personality:
Ever since she was a little girl, Audrey had a knack for being the person in charge and leading other people. She learned at a young age that being called bossy was something that she should take as a compliment, because it meant that people recognized that she possessed power and influence, and that they were threatened by it. She has always been the girl who has a mind overflowing with ideas, a mouth that refuses to silence itself when her brain believes she's right, and a fire burning somewhere inside of her that's constantly pushing her to want more for herself. Audrey isn't someone who is ever going to settle for less than perfect, and she tends to be stubborn in thinking that things need to go her way, or else they're going to crash and burn. In her eyes, perfection can be obtained in every aspect of life, from social standpoints, to academic ones, to financial ones. If anything has her name and reputation attached to it, she's going to be critical of it being any less than perfect. Often times, this results in giving her friends "suggestions" on clothing or appearance options that come out more blunt and unfiltered, than sugarcoated like they want to hear. Honestly, Audrey is getting better at the way she presents these suggestions because she doesn't want to seem unkind to her friends, but being sharp is something that's inherent in her. It's simply hard for her to comprehend that not everyone shares her thought processes and opinions, and that people aren't necessarily "idiotic" for believing things that differ from her own beliefs.

Her control freak, critical and perfectionist-like tendencies are well known by those close to her, but in order to have been elected Alpha president, it's a given that she's not some evil monster that everyone hates. Everyone might fear her to some degree (or at least, her underclassmen Alphas might), but not hate, and even with the younger girls, it's not like Audrey wants them to fear her. She simply wants respect, and the realistic side of her knows that in order to obtain and maintain respect, there must be a part of you that people fear crossing. You must be strong and willing to act on your threats if people go against your word, and that's where Audrey's vengeful side comes in. To counter all of that, though, she does have a plethora of likable traits. She's a great Alpha president, in the sense that she will ride or die for her girls. She will stick up for any of the Alphas, regardless of the scenario or how wrong they may be, and despite having a reputation for being cold and insincere, there is a part of Audrey that is very much alive and well, that truly cares for each and every friend, and sorority sister that she has. She's protective of them, proud of them, and supportive of them, because she knows that anyone who managed to make it into the Alpha house has an endless amount of potential. Audrey is an extremely intelligent girl, full of ideas and creativity. She's energetic, motivated, and enjoys being involved in anything that she thinks will help her grow as a person, or help her resume grow.

While she has a reputation for being a complete and utter bitch, it's not entirely who she is. She can be one, and she would never deny that, but as harsh as Audrey can be, she loves her sorority sisters and her friends. She believes in tough love, and that showing that kind of love will benefit everyone in the end, even if that isn't always true. Her worst enemies will tell you that she's secretly an insecure, narcistic perfectionist who refuses to compromise on anything, while her closest friends will tell you that's she's a bright girl with tons of potential, who has a heart big enough to start fundraisers for a long list of charities, or stay up until four in the morning as you sob about your ex-boyfriend, all while feeding you an uplifting pep talk about how you can do so much better than her. She's the kind of girl that most people either love or hate, but many struggle to not be jealous of her in one way or another.

Greatest joys in life:
Audrey adores attention and praise. She doesn't need it to survive, but she's definitely the kind of girl who feels empowered by other people thinking that she's perfect. She loves that feeling of superiority, and having control and authority over other people.

Greatest fears:
Disappointing her family is a major fear of hers. She feels so disconnected to them emotionally, that still, succeeding academically and in manners that are superficial, are the only ways that she can hold onto their interest and love.

Life philosophy:
“Everything is within your power, and your power is within you.”

College Career

Thoughts on Greek Life:
As the Alpha President, one can only imagine that Audrey has nothing but positive things to say about her Alpha house. In her eyes, the Alpha girls are the most well-rounded, destined-to-succeed girls in all of the University. In her opinion, it's the most elite sorority, because it's necessary to weed out anyone who doesn't truly possess the Alpha values and potential that they stand for. The Zetas and Sigmas are immature students who have horrible priority lists, and while the Kappas and Thetas are admirable in terms of their intelligence, in today's workplace, employers want well-rounded employees. Someone who spends twenty-four hours with their nose shoved in a book isn't going to be able to be socially competent enough to ever get anywhere. And that's why the Alphas and Betas are perfect - they possess every coveted trait in the book, and do it all while looking fabulously.

Plans for after college:
Her father keeps insisting that she should continue her education by getting an MBA, and then get a job somewhere in the states. She, however, is desperate to work for her parents' companies. She thinks that will be the way to finally grab their attention and allow her to develop actual real and close bonds with them. Regardless, she thinks that she'll either move to New York, or back to either London or Monaco, to be closer to her family, after she graduates.

Physical Description

Build:
5'3, 110 lbs

Hair Colour:
Red

Style:
Audrey's style would best be described as preppy and classy. She can dress to highlight her figure, but she prefers to wear more conservative and tasteful apparel for the most part. Most people spend Sunday trying to prepare themselves for the droll and unwanted responsibilities that come about come the dreaded Monday morning. They sip their tea, drink that last bit of wine, and lay in bed trying to decide if they're really going to be petty enough to pretend like they're sick in this call to their office, scrounging up every excuse in the book as to why they can't go to work, school, or wherever the daylight happens to take them. However, for the students at Fulton University, instead of the lackadaisical doings of their typical Sunday evenings, the air around campus (and throughout the city) is alive with anticipation as people pre-game and prepare for a night of carefree drinking, dancing, and even drama...

...especially drama, particularly when the Greek life students are involved.

Some students are still in dorms, apartments and houses getting ready for the Guys in Ties & Girls in Pearls event hosted by Fulton's own Greek Life Alumna Association. Girls are just finishing the finishing touches to their hair or just sliding into velvet dresses, lacing up and slipping into heels of various styles. Sipping on glasses of wine or champagne, giggling over their shared excitement over how the night could unfold and the plans they've already made. Maybe even the tipsiness they already have. And guys are fastening on cuff links, straightening up the suits some just got from dry-cleaning or delivered by their favorite tailoring services. Quaffing glasses of scotch or taking shots to the head in preparation for how absolutely trashed they're bound to be by night's end.

Regardless of where everyone is - even those who are known for being rather prompt as opposed to fashionably late - it's bound to be a night of sensuous, luxurious, riveting and possibly even scandalous fun...so just like the Alumna Association asked on twitter, where can we find you?

xxxxxxx"Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high"

Yaya stood in front of her mirror and applied a bit of highlight to her cheekbones. She examined her dress one more time turning to the side to glance over her shoulder. She had discovered it a week ago after her and Zakia decided to take a last minute trip to Orlando to go to this animal sanctuary that Zay had found online. The dress fit perfectly but she couldn't help wonder if it was a bit much even for her for a school event. She shrugged lightly at the thought, it was too late to change the dress anyways so it didn't really matter.

She reached for Maya's pearl necklace that sat on her vanity and attempted to close the delicate clasps in the back. On her third try she was starting to get annoyed and she growled lightly.
"Need some help?" Yaya turned to see Maya and her father leaning against the doorway. She smiled lightly "Yes please,
Maya smiled lightly, "I thought that you would be more excited." She asked as she lifted her hair and gently closed the clasp. "This wouldn't have anything to do with that boy right?" Yaya made eye contact with her through the mirror and stepped out of her grasp. "Maya please leave it alone."

Her dad, who had moved from the doorway to sit in one of the corner chairs of the room arched an eyebrow at her, "Doe it's okay to say you're sad. It doesn't make you weak" Yaya crossed her arms over her chest defensively "I'm well aware of that daddy but I'm fine. I'm just stressed out I have two papers due next week and I work all week." ''
Her dad looked pensive for a moment but nodded "Alright but make sure you have fun, you work really hard, you deserve it" She gave him a dismissive smile and he and Maya shared bemused look but left nonetheless and she appreciated them giving her space.

A lot of her fellow Alpha's were getting ready at the house and were giggling and laughing and gossiping and she could have joined them but she preferred the calmness of her family's home over the idea of choking on multiple perfume clouds, sharing counter space with like ten girls at one time, the tears of the girl who will inevitably feel unattrative in her outfit, and the girl whose whole night is about to revolve around a Beta boy who only considers her another girl in his rotation.

She thought about driving but she didn't want to have to worry about if she was going to drink and have to pick up her car the next day or not so instead she pulled out her phone and called up an uber. While she had her phone open she sent a few texts out. she send one to Audrey that simply said that was going to arrive a bit early and she telling her that she had decided to show up early. Another text went to Cyrus asking him when he planned to arrive tonight. The last one went to Ben and after typing up four different responses and deleting all of them she simply sent him a text that said hello.

Her uber driver sent her a text saying he was outside five minutes later so she grabbed her phone and keys, not bothering with a wallet because she tucked fifty dollars into her phone case, and headed into the uber. It wasn't a long ride only about fifteen to twenty minutes. So when she arrived there were a few people walking around but it was mostly staff so she went inside and decided to sit on one of the lounges by the pool while she waited.

"I'm glad that we're on the same page," Audrey confirmed, breaking the momentary silence that had existed since getting into the car with Hudson. It wasn't an awkward form of silence, not at all. She and Hudson were close enough where awkward silence didn't really exist. Rather, it was a form of silence that existed only because both of them were thinking. Audrey wasn't sure what was going on in Hudson's mind, but her mind was surely moving rapidly.

"When aren't we on the same page, darling?"
Hudson purred back to her, doing it in a way that was typical of him and his obnoxiously flirtatious persona, but also partly to get the smile out of Audrey that he achieved. The two friends had just left The Capital Grille, an upscale steakhouse in Miami. It was about a ten minute drive from their Greek houses, and since he had only had one drink at dinner, he drove the pair back to campus. The two of them got dinner regularly, but tonight, the conversation that had ensued had been special. And necessary. Very necessary, if you asked Hudson. Last Saturday, he had walked in on his Little, Weston Cullen, in what Hudson could only describe as a "compromising position" with Kappa member Nicholas Reyes. To say that he was shocked and appalled at what he saw would be an understatement. Had it been almost any other Beta member, and Hudson automatically would have kicked them out of the fraternity. In what world would it be appropriate for a Beta to be gay? None. It was blasphemous, in Hudson's mind. He would tell you that he was accepting of people who were gay, but that they simply didn't belong in the Beta house. It was morally wrong, of course, to anyone with a conscience, but in his mind, being gay just didn't fit with the Beta values. Weston was his Little, though, and Hudson felt like kicking him out would reflect poorly on him. So, he told Weston that what he saw would remain as their little secret, and he did keep his promise, at least when considering that none of the other Beta brothers found out about it. Who he did tell, however, was Audrey. He would tell the girl anything and it was a good thing that he confided in her this time, because the two had constructed a plan, and confirmed it over dinner.

"And I want to reiterate that we're only doing it for the best interests of our Greek names, and for the betterment of Charlotte and Weston," Audrey moved on to, her smile still remaining after Hudson's last comment. It was worth noting, however, that she was mostly reiterating this loud as if she needed to remind herself of it, because a part of her did feel a little bit uneasy about what she and Hudson were planning on. They were going to "set up" Weston and Charlotte, the two members of their houses who had proven to be problem children, in a sense. Hudson's reasons with Wes were understandable in Audrey's opinion. Whether the morality behind rejecting Wes' sexuality was right or not was another story, but she understood what Hudson meant about having to maintain an image. Her reasons for wanting to force Charlotte into a relationship with Weston were more... complicated, for lack of a better word. They were complicated, because part of her problem with Charlotte was more of a problem with herself. She was controlling, and she couldn't stand it when people disregarded her word. That was why Charlotte got on her nerves. When Audrey said she couldn't have Zeta girls in the Alpha house, the Arnault continued to invite them over. Then, if she wasn't inviting them over, she was disappearing to the Zeta house night after night, doing God knows what. Audrey knew that she had strong opinions about the Zetas that not every Alpha had to possess themselves, but at the same time, she would not stand for an Alpha girl to be associating with Zetas to the extent that Charlotte did. It was like she wanted to live in that house more than the Alpha's, and of course, Audrey felt like that was a bad reflection on her. Alphas were supposed to want to be Alphas, and Charlotte's passiveness felt disrespectful.

Being able to force Charlotte to date Weston would not only limit the amount of free time that she had to associate with the Zetas, but Audrey hoped that dating a Beta, be it a "good" one or not, would help transform Charlotte into a proper Alpha. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Audrey was well aware that part of her was doing this only because she could, and that she had the power to force Charlotte to do something, because if Charlotte said no, then Audrey would tell her that she and her sister were no longer welcome in the Alpha sorority. While Audrey didn't approve of all of Charlotte's decisions, she thought that underneath the rebellion, a girl who had the potential to be an Alpha did exist, and that girl wasn't going to want to leave the Alpha house... or at the very least, she wouldn't want her sister to be punished for her mistakes.

"Of course," Hudson confirmed, moving one hand from the wheel of his Range Rover to give Audrey's hand a squeeze. "That's what presidents are supposed to do. Look out for their people, and make decisions in the best of their interests, even if they're too ignorant to realize that our decisions are going to better them right now." Both of them knew that they weren't purely doing this to help their younger Greek members, but they were comforted by knowing that at least the other was going to pretend that that was going on too.

Audrey Green

Location: Alpha House
Outfit: Here
Hex Code: #00cc00
Surprisingly, it only took about a half an hour after getting home from her dinner meeting with Hudson, for Audrey to get ready for the Guys in Ties & Girls in Pearls event. Her hair and makeup had already been done before dinner, so it only took a few touch ups to those, and getting dressed, for her to be ready for the night. Of course, she wasn't just done there. Once she decided that she looked flawless, she had to make sure that her girls did, as well. Audrey made her way through the two floors of bedrooms in the Alpha house, knocking on doors and inspecting outfits, throwing out compliments left and right, though they were all well deserved. To those who didn't deserve compliments, Audrey offered constructive criticism, pulling dresses out of closets, pinning back flyaway strands of hair, and handing out pearl necklaces and bracelets and earrings from her own stash. Her girls needed to look perfect, because as always, Audrey felt like any imperfection of theirs would reflect poorly on her, and anyone who knew Audrey knew that things had to be perfect. No exceptions. She had gotten through nearly all of the girls, sending many of them off in the Ubers that they had called, and insisting that they looked phenomenal. She hadn't cross paths with only a few girls, including the Arnaults, and Naomi, and she was in route to check on the latter as she sent out text messages to the former, and to Yaya, who wasn't in the house.

To: Ya Ya
Sounds good, love. I'm almost on my way. Make sure our girls behave until I get there ;)

To: Charlotte, Juliette
Charlotte, you and I are going to ride to the party together. We need to talk about some things. Jules, I told Kim and Gemma to wait for you, or you can ride with Naomi. I don't think Abby has left either.

Audrey didn't mention that Charlotte would be riding with her and Weston and Hudson, but that was unimportant right now. Right now, what Audrey was focusing on was knocking on Naomi's bedroom door. After she checked on her best friend, she would deal with Charlotte and Weston and seeing how that played out. She reminded herself that there was no need to worry about it anyway, because she would get her way. She always did, and with Hudson likely already prepping Weston for what was going to happen at this very moment, Audrey was sure that things would go just as they planned. "Omi, open up! Show me what my competition for tonight looks like! And if you're Uber is on the way, make sure there's an extra seat for my beautiful Little. I'm going to borrow yours for a few minutes, so we'll swap," she said playfully through the girl's closed bedroom door.

xxxxxxx"Can we act like we never broke each others hearts?"

Yaya had always been exceedingly good at people watching. Her mother once even went as far as to say that she was named after the timid doe that she had the eyes of a fierce puma. It was on of the reasons why she made such a good writer. She liked to observe the people around her and portray a version of them in her stories. As she walked through the function she couldn't help but watch the people around her, the people she called peers. Some of them laughed among each other while others of them schmoozed amongst the Alumni, charming with them with stories of their achievements and stories of their professors.

Personally she had no interest in either. She had yet to see the people that she chose to associate with and she was in no mood to schmooze with old men who were more interested in staring at her lush lips and young supple breast then they were interested in contributing to furthering her education. She did spot a specific Beta schmoozing, Andre, and with him was none other than Cyrus's father. She felt her eyebrow raise, though she wasn't honestly sure if it was more in judgement or curiosity. She wasn't very well versed in Cyrus's relationship with Andre or his father all she knew was that there was nothing healthy about it. But then again who was she to butt in? Her own mother considered her to be a selfish bitch and was never shy about telling her about it. She shook her head lightly as if she could shake her mother out of her memory and took a sip of her drink. She was on drink two but far from drunk, not that she would embarrass the Alpha's by getting drunk at an Alumni event.

She felt her phone buzz in her hand, five messages. The first two were from Ben, one from Audrey, another from Abigail, and the final one from Amaris. She decided to respond to Audrey first, she tapped her phone quickly to type out a simple "Of course." She was honestly surprised that Audrey wasn't here yet but it made her think that she had something planned and she wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was. Abigail was next and she also received a quick non committal response of "I'm already here." The text from Amaris had a image so she opened it and couldn't help smiling when she sent a response of "You look stunning." She meant it too Amaris looked absolutely amazing in the dress. She opened up Ben's texts last and she felt a smile make it's way on her face. Her fingers tapped quickly on her screen as she typed out "I'm here." but as she was about to send it she spotted Daniel arriving and could only assume that Ben came with him.

She walked through the growing maze of people looking for him. It wasn't obscenely crowded, not like the parties that the greek system crowded, but it felt like she was moving in slow motion as she got around the people that were moving obscenely slow. Just as she made it out of the crowd she saw a passing figure that was unmistakably him. She reached out and caught the sleeve of his jacket just before he walked away and as he turned around she breathed out "I'm already here"

NAOMI SATO

———————————————————————
Naomi leaned forward towards the circular mirror of her vanity as she glided the dark rouge hue across her lips. Her cat-lined eyes blinked back at her reflection, and her newly painted lips curved into a satisfied smile. Raising her hands to her head, she thoughtfully brought together her straightened locks, considering for the third and final time whether she should actually put them in some sort of updo. Instead, she tucked both sides smoothly behind her ears.

Done. Finally.

Naomi loved parties, but good grief getting ready for them took forever. Especially when the party was one as illustrious as the 'Guys in Ties, Girls with Pearls' soiree she was currently prepping for.

A soft buzz sounded, and she stood up from the table. Walking over to her bed, she searched the strewn sheets for her phone, finally finding it nestling between a nook in her duvet and a cushion. She pressed her thumb against the middle button, and looked through the two new messages.

From; Yuda
Yes, the rumors are true, I will be attending tonight's event. No pictures please.

With a smirk, Naomi texted back a teasing reply.
To; Yuda
About time you got out of the house. Fucking vampire.
Wear something cute for me, k? ;*

The second message made her pause for the briefest of moments, but then she was sending back a reply just as jovial as the prior.

From; Pothead
U need a hot date for tonite? Hmu

To; Pothead
Depends... will said hot date pay for the uber?

"Omi, open up! Show me what my competition for tonight looks like!" Smiling softly, Naomi opened her bedroom door. However, upon hearing Audrey's next sentence, her expression turned to one of good-humored suspicion. "And if you're Uber is on the way, make sure there's an extra seat for my beautiful Little. I'm going to borrow yours for a few minutes, so we'll swap."

"Borrow? May I ask what for?"

"My, oh, my, don't you look stunning?" Audrey gushed, with playfully dramatic enthusiasm added in for the fun of it when Naomi opened the door. What she said was no joke though, as Naomi seriously looked gorgeous. She was an attractive girl to begin with, but that black dress was alluring and sensual in all of the right places, while still remaining modest enough to fall in line with the classy values that the Alpha women embodied. Audrey smiled with approval and pleasure, as she met Naomi's gaze following the girl's question. "For important, top-secret Alpha Theta Pi presidential duties, of course!" she answered teasingly, knowing that it was better to play the humor card in this scenario, then be blatantly secretive. Naomi was arguably Audrey's closest friend in the house. The girls had rushed together, had worked their way up together, and had done all of that while maintaining a strong and genuine friendship. Audrey knew that Naomi knew her better than most girls, and that if she could trust anyone, it was this girl, but Audrey also knew that what she was doing was wrong. And that Naomi would tell her that. And that she didn't want to hear that. She much preferred hearing what she and Hudson had discussed, about how this wasn't selfish and wrong, and was just them being good people. Regardless of whether she believed it or not, it was those kinds of thoughts that she wanted filling her head right now. She didn't need anyone else to doubt her morality any more than a part of her was already doing.

However, she knew that she owed Naomi at least a little bit more than that, so with a smile that was nearly apologetic, she added, "Nothing bad. Nothing you need to worry about. I just need to give our little black sheep of the family a little bit of TLC. You can have her back as soon as you get there." A glance at her phone signaled that Hudson and Weston were almost here, and that it was a good thing too, because Audrey didn't want to be too late for this party, and the time signaled that they were getting close to that point. Though she didn't know if Naomi would push for more information than that, the guiltier side of Audrey didn't want to handle it even as a possibility, so she purposely didn't give Omi much of a chance to answer before giving her a wink, and starting towards the end of the hallway where the stairs were. "I'll have Jules wait for you outside, and I'll see you there!" she called out.

{With dialogue added in by Miserable}
____________________________________________
Juliette was in the kitchen, having poured herself another glass of champagne, when she got the text that Audrey had sent to both her and Charlotte. The message had made her frown, only because she was annoyed that Audrey wanted to socialize with Charlotte more than her. Putting the attention-needy side of her to rest, she knew that Charlotte was probably in trouble, given that her only interactions with Audrey tended to focus around Audrey lecturing Charlotte for being a bad Alpha, but Juliette still wanted to frown over the idea of her Big wanting to spend time with anyone other than her. Charlotte was just as displeased with the text message as Juliette was, groaning audibly after reading it. She was in the process of leaving the bathroom now, having decided that her outfit was as good as it was going to get, and being satisfied with her nails being almost completely dry by then. Charlotte was already over the theme of tonight's party, but she had been counting on it being bearable if she could spend the night with her real friends, and not the Alphas. Being ordered to spend the commute to the party with Audrey was a pretty good sign that she wasn't going to get her way on that, and that the night would be more miserable than she expected. After sending a text back to Michaela and Jazmyn, explaining that she had to ride with Audrey, Charlotte headed downstairs, finding Juliette already lingering by the door.

"Why does she want to talk to you?" Juliette asked, arms crossed over her chest with her face sporting what seemed to be her signature look of anger and offense. "Don't tell me that you had Michaela and Jazmyn over again today." Juliette could not comprehend why Charlotte insisted on doing the exact opposite of what Audrey told her to do. In her opinion, it was clearly Charlotte who was the one out of the two of them who constantly needed the attention to be focused on her. That was why she was always purposely acting out, Juliette believed.

"I was going to ask you if you knew," Charlotte said, throwing in a nonchalant shrug. Aside from the nail polish incident, Charlotte felt like she had done well this week at adhering to all of Audery's unnecessary and annoying demands and standards. She had been busy with two school papers, so that was part of it, but for the most part, outside of class, she had remained in the Alpha house (alone), or in the campus library. She had barely seen her friends since last weekend, so she didn't know what Audrey could need her for. She assumed, however, that it was just going to be a car ride full of discussions about how she needed to use this party as a chance to redeem herself, and how she was forbidden from even looking in the Zetas' direction, or something.

"She didn't mention anything to me," Juliette acknowledged, before quickly continuing with, "But can you please be normal tonight? I don't want Audrey to be in a bad mood, and some of mom's friends are going to be here. You know they'll tell her if they see you don't anything weird with your friends."

Charlotte wanted to object, or at least tell her sister that unlike her, she had enough of a brain to know that she was allowed to interact with people from other houses, regardless of social stigmas, but before she could, Audrey came downstairs. As much as Charlotte disliked Audrey at times, there was no denying that she was everything than an Alpha president should be. She was beautiful and graceful, she knew how to demand respect and get her way, and she was intelligent and influential. Charlotte didn't like her being her President, but she could give credit where credit was due, and in part because she felt like Juliette's stare was going to burn a hole in the side of her face if she was anything but respectful, Charlotte smiled at the redhead. "You look pretty, Audrey."

"She looks more than pretty! Oh my god, that dress looks even better in real life than it did in the picture you sent me."

"Thank you, my loves," Audrey smiled, relishing in the praise for a moment, before nodding approvingly at the two girls, too. She had seen both outfits before they had been put on the girls, but the Arnault genes never failed to make anything look flawless. That was one more reason for why it was all the more frustrating that Charlotte didn't take advantage of it on nights that weren't like tonight, where she was forced to dress nicely. "You two look perfect as well," she complimented, with her eyes flashing towards Charlotte's hands to make sure that the girl had rid herself of the chipped black nail polish that she had originally planned on wearing tonight. With confirmation that it had been replaced, her smile returned, and she opened up the front door. "Jules, Naomi should be down in a minute. We'll see you there," she said, waiting for Charlotte to follow her out. Charlotte did follow, but only after sending a quick text to Naomi that read, "Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?" While Charlotte knew that Naomi was best friends with Audrey, she was close enough with her own Big to confide in her about how she sometimes felt like Audrey unnecessarily targeted her. Additionally, given Naomi's closeness to Audrey, Omi was usually helpful in giving Charlotte a heads up right before Audrey was going to snap on her about something.

The limo was already waiting for them, so Audrey headed towards it, smiling at Abby as she passed and saying, "Abby, Naomi and Juliette are about to leave if you need a ride." Normally, she would have been welcoming for any of her Alphas to ride with her, but she needed some alone time with Charlotte, Hudson and Weston tonight, and once the pair were in the limo with the boys, and the driver pulled off, she knew that she had that.

"My, oh, my, don't you look stunning?" Naomi should have known better than to be so easily flattered, but she was easily won over by compliments, and she knew she looked good. It was a sleek look, and she looked almost feline with her subtly winged eyes and slender frame. Still, even if she looked absolutely horrendous, Naomi was well aware that she could trust Audrey's compliments. The Alpha president had a penchant for brutal honesty- if Naomi looked bad, Audrey would certainly tell her so.

With a flirtatious smile, she pointedly looked the redhead up and down, commenting in a faux blase tone, "Not so bad, yourself."

She was making a severe understatement, of course. Audrey looked gorgeous. Audrey always looked gorgeous. The girl simply wouldn't settle for anything less.

"For important, top-secret Alpha Theta Pi presidential duties, of course!" A little red flag immediately went up, and Naomi raised her brows in a touch of exasperation. Yes, Naomi knew that Charlotte was... different, and she knew that Audrey loathed when the certain expectations of an alpha weren't met by said alphas, but...

Well, that was just it. Charlotte simply didn't fit, and what's more, the girl had no desire to. Sure, she did try to appease Audrey's demands, but she never changed herself. As far as Naomi could tell, Charlotte's priority was Charlotte, and the Little was not about to throw away who she was in order to conform to some admittedly twisted set of standards.

Naomi actually admired that about her, not that she would ever tell Audrey that.

"Nothing bad. Nothing you need to worry about. I just need to give our little black sheep of the family a little bit of TLC. You can have her back as soon as you get there."

Naomi knew the game by now. Audrey wasn't letting her get a word in edge ways, which suggested that Audrey was up to something of arguable moral standing. As the redhead spun around and headed down stairs, Naomi could only sigh in mild frustration.

"Kuso..."

Her phone buzzed again, and she chuckled at Yuda's message.

From; Yuda
Omg, shut up! It'll be useless looking nice just for you because I'm pretty sure you'll be going home with someone else xoxo

To; Yuda
jealous are we? ;) See you soon xx

Her phone buzzed again, twice, and she opted to read her little's text first.

From; Charlittle
Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?

For a second, she felt a twinge of guilt. She's tough. She can handle whatever crazy scheme Audrey's got cooked up I'm sure.

To; Charlittle
I'm as lost as you are... if you die, I'll avenge you tho, so don't worry xx

Reading Archie's text, she only scoffed, and stuffed the phone into her purse with a roll of her eyes. "Moron..." She betrayed a smile before taking a final look in the mirror and heading downstairs. Smiling at Abby and Juliette, she nodded towards the uber waiting outside.

"Coming?"

"Warning - I wasn't able to preempt Charlotte for what's going on here. I'm assuming you've already spoken to Weston?" was the first thing that Audrey said, when she and Charlotte got into the car. The duo were met by Hudson and Weston, with the former looking far more comfortable and at ease than the latter. It was a scene that Audrey expected to walk into, given that she and Hudson had discussed that it would be best for each of them to explain the situation to their Greek house member before getting together. Audrey hadn't had the time to tell Charlotte, but just looking at Weston's face allowed Audrey to assume that Hudson had held up his side of the agreement.

There was tension in the car, and had been since he had revealed to Weston what was really going on here, but the moment that Audrey stepped into the car, Hudson was smiling again. It was a smile that he couldn't help being there, and it was as if there was no wiping it off of his face, even if he wanted to. Why he was so mesmerized with Audrey, he would never really know, but it was noteworthy that Hudson wasn't even undressing her in his head as he looked at her, like he did to most girls. "Can't you tell by that enthused smile on his face?" he answered, not looking at Weston then, but knowing that there was no smile on his face. He sent him a hard glare that was sure to signal that he better put one on his face now, if he knew what was good for him, though.

"Perfect, then let's get Charlotte in the loop," Audrey smiled, looking at Weston briefly, in an attempt to re-read his expression in some way that would allow her to believe that maybe he wasn't as bothered as he looked, and that he had taken the news well enough to convince herself that Charlotte might to. She turned to Charlotte a second later, with an eager smile, as if she had amazing news that she couldn't wait to share. If business failed for her (which she knew it wouldn't), at least she could have a backup career in acting...

"Yeah... I'd appreciate it." It was the first thing that Charlotte had said since getting into the limousine, and that was mostly because she was really confused about what was going on. It would have been strange enough to have to sit in a limo for the duration of the ride with just Audrey, but adding Hudson and Weston into the mix was perplexing. Hudson would have been one thing, since she knew that he and Audrey were close friends. Had Weston not looked so uneasy, and had Audrey not brought Charlotte along because she wanted to talk, then maybe Charlotte could have pieced this together as Audrey and Hudson wanting to ride together, and Weston being invited because he was Hudson's Little. Given the situation in reality, though, there was no way to logically explain why she was here, and what Audrey was going to get her "in the loop" about.

Audrey didn't waste a moment in beginning to speak, once Charlotte acknowledged her. "Well, as you know, I've been worried about you," she began, her smile fading almost instantly as she looked at Charlotte with a more somber expression. "You're just always... off track. You have so much potential and that's why you made it as an Alpha in the first place, but you don't utilize it, and it's upsetting. It's really upsetting, and you know me, Charlotte. I can't just sit around and watch one of my girls waste away, due to all of these meaningless distractions." And by meaningless distractions, Audrey most certainly meant all of the unworthy friends that Charlotte seemed to choose over her own Alpha sisters. "So, I've decided to do what any good president and friend would do. I've set you up with a distraction that will actually do some good for you," she continued, pausing only slightly, before looking towards Weston with a smile, as if she were the host of a game show, revealing a contestant's grand prize. "Meet your new boyfriend, Weston."

"Are you on drugs?" Charlotte was smirking, and not because she found her own comment to be amusing, but because it was her first reaction to what Audrey said. It was hard to interpret it as anything other than a joke, and she wanted Audrey to know that if it wasn't a joke, it was a laughable suggestion, because Charlotte wasn't going to treat her words as a serious demand.

"You should be thanking me, Charlotte." Audrey wasn't getting sharp just yet, but she allowed a tinge of hurt to accompany her words. She had prepared for this, so again, the offense was feigned and rehearsed, but a part of her did want to believe that Charlotte was reacting ungratefully. She was doing a good service by helping and guiding Charlotte. However, even if her voice was still cool and calm, it seemed necessary to tell Charlotte what was on the table before the girl let her mouth get the best of her. "If Hudson and I hadn't come up with this option, I would have had to terminate your sisterhood with Alpha Theta Pi, and if I had to do that, I would have felt inclined to do the same for your sister. Isn't this more fair for everyone?" Of course, it was wrong for Audrey to include Juliette in this in any way, shape or form. Juliette was a model Alpha member, not to mention the sweetest Little that Audrey could have ever asked for, but no relationship in the world was more important to her than her own image. It was messed up and sad, really, but if Audrey had to toss her friendship with Juliette away, just to prove a point that she would get her way, then she was willing to do that. It would hurt, but Audrey would be able to convince herself that it was necessary.

"Not really." Fair?! This was far from fair. This was absolutely absurd, that was what this was! The smirk had disappeared from her face, but Charlotte still couldn't believe that this was something that Audrey was actually proposing. She knew better than to think it was a joke at this point, as more time allowed her to remind herself that Audrey probably was crazy enough to be capable of this, but even for her, this seemed low. It had nothing to do with Weston, a boy that Charlotte only knew on a surface level, but just the situation as a whole.

"Can I just add in that--" As if Weston wasn't feeling uncomfortable enough about the situation, knowing that he could do nothing other than accept it as the better option, at least for now, but on top of that, he now had to deal with the awkwardness of this girl freaking out over how horrible it was going to be to pretend to date him. He knew it was being dramatic to take it so personally, given that anyone in Charlotte's situation had a right to react that way, but it was an awkward position to be in, nonetheless.

Hudson cut Weston off almost immediately. As bad as it was, he was enjoying the show that Charlotte was putting on, even if his eyes had barely left Audrey for a second. He didn't need Weston interrupting them, because as he had said earlier, his opinion on the matter held no weight. "You don't get to add in anything, unless it's a compliment on how nice Charlotte looks." Weston answered that with silence, that was only intended to prove a point that what he was going to say had nothing to do with going along with this bizarre scenario that Hudson and Audrey were forcing on him and Charlotte. "Really? You're not gonna tell the lady that she looks good, Wes? Shit, you really should be thanking me for this. You clearly don't know how to treat a girl."

"That's not what I meant," Weston sighed, looking towards Charlotte apologetically, even though it appeared as if she was caught up enough in her own emotions, which mostly came across as being anger, on her face, to even acknowledge what was going on in the car. "You look great, Charlotte, but I really think that--"

"You think that this is the best option to keep you in the Beta house, and that I'm a wonderful Big for setting you up with a girl like Charlotte." That was enough to shut Weston up, and once the boy seemed to sink back into his seat, Hudson was able to turn his attention back to the girls, fighting back a smirk that so badly wanted to shine on his face. It wasn't his fault that he had a soft spot for some good drama.

"You can't do this, Audrey. Can't even you see how absolutely crazy this is? You can kick me out, I really don't give a fuck at this point." At this point, it would be a relief to be kicked out of the Alpha house, and right now, she thought she would be even happier to be kicked out of this car. Even if it was still moving. She'd take some scratches and bruises, even a broken bone or two, from jumping out of the moving limousine over having to deal with this absurdity.

"Should I text Naomi and tell her not to take Juliette with her, but instead to tell her to start packing?" It was an ultimatum, and because Audrey knew the answer that she would ultimately receive, she was able to give it with an innocent smile, as she pulled out her phone to signal that she wasn't bluffing.

"You're so fucked up."

"I need an answer, Charlotte. Should I text her and tell her that, or are you going to embrace your relationship with Weston?"

Yaya bit her lip in concern as Cyrus teased her she wasn't used to this behavior from him which told her that he was definitely not feeling comfortable. She absently leaned on him momentarily, just a innocent gesture to let him know that he had her full support. "I always miss you when you're gone Cy." She teased back for appearance sake.

Her phone vibrated loudly against the countertop of the bar and she picked it up to see a text from Cas asking her if she wanted her usual. She bit her lip and glanced at Ben across the bar before quickly typing out Yes please, please be discreet I don't want Ben to start shit with you. She knew that Ben would obviously lose it if he found out that she was taking pills from Cas. She loved him but Ben wasn't very understanding when it came to things like that and she understood with his past and all but she wasn't addicted to pills or anything she just wanted a pick me up here and there.

"So, was that you I saw kissing Benjamin earlier?" She turned her head back to Archie when she heard him mention Ben, "You going back to basics huh?" She rolled her eyes at Archie. "He is not basic, he is sweet and kind and honest. You could learn something about that. Maybe get in a relationship instead of having a different girl in your bed every night." She said it in a teasing manner but the truth was that it kind of got under her skin when people said that Ben was boring.

Yaya always wanted stability because she never really got it growing up, not until she moved in with her Dad. Her grandma tried to give her stability but if there's one thing her grandmother lacked: stability. Whether she was jetting off with a new lover to Barcelona or Paris, or she was surprising Yaya with a day trip to Manhattan for some shopping, or she was hosting some lavish party on a fucking Tuesday night. Ben was stable and she loved that about him. They had a routine and shared plans and goals. She met his family and he met hers, they had dinner at her Dad's house every Wednesday. Even her sorority sisters would joke about how her and Ben were basically already married. She could see herself marrying him and moving into a pretty house not too far from both of their parents maybe having kids, you know the American dream. It scared the shit out of her. Part of her wondered if she allowed the attention of other guys to spice things up or if deep down she was testing him. She knew his friends thought that for sure.

She glanced around for her fellow Alphas when she briefly thought that she hadn't seen many of them around yet so she sent out a group text to Audrey, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte, and Naomi that states Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

"Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." The mischievous spark was still there, and Naomi leaned in furtively, only for her smile to freeze on her face.

"Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly. Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless."

Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

Naomi's inner monologue had turned especially expletive, and for good reason. How? How could Abby not think this is a horrible situation?

It had always been a rule, hadn't it? A cardinal part of both the girl and the guy code. Don't mess around with your friend's ex.

It was bad enough that they were Alpha sisters, but Yaya was Abby's Big! Somehow, that made the entire situation feel even worse.

It was none of her business, of course. And Naomi knew that. She shouldn't have pried in the first place, and now she wished she hadn't. She would have felt so much better if she'd remained blissfully ignorant of the entire scandalous affair.

Hey- let's not freak out, okay? Yaya is sex on a fucking stick. She's probably totally over Ben and out scoping the party for someone new and she's bound to be able to find someone, let's be real so-

Try as she might to persuade herself that it would all be alright, the sinking feeling in her gut assured her otherwise. Yaya was one of her best friends- what was she supposed to do? Lie? Feign ignorance? Tell her?

But she couldn't screw over Abby, either!

See? This is why I hate relationships. No good comes out of this shit. Ever.

This entire train of thought occurred in only a couple of seconds, before being interrupted by Juliette in a bid to change the mood.

"I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead." Naomi followed Juliette out of the car, rolling her eyes at the comment as the younger Alpha moved to clasp her hand.

"So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!"

Naomi couldn't help it, she laughed. "Yeah... no. Something tells me I'm not really his type."

As they walked into the party, Naomi paused in the entrance, and looked around admiringly. The GiTGwP party seemed to get prettier every year, and this was no exception. Glancing down to her phone, she opened a message from Yaya, which only helped the guilt of the prior car confession to come back full force.

From; Yaya
Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

To; Yaya
Don't worry, the fun has arrived. ;) we're at the entrance, come find us

Just as she was putting her phone back, it buzzed again, and she read the new text from Archie.

From; Archie
I doubt I'm the first person to say this to you tonight - and I definitely won't be the last - but damn Omi, you look amazing.

Brows rising in slight surprise, Naomi looked through the crowd around her, searching for a particular face. When she finally found the right one, she met Archie's eyes, and grinned brightly. Pointedly looking over him, she shot him a teasing smirk that clearly said, "You don't look so bad yourself."

When Charlotte stepped out of the limousine, being the first one out of the four occupants to get out, she felt like she had sold her soul to the devil. Call it dramatic, but she had never been the kind of person who bowed down to people's requests. She liked doing what she wanted to do, when she wanted to do it, and how she wanted to do it. Her privilege and upbringing played a role in it too, probably, but she was just used to being able to get her way, and do her own thing, without having to worry about too many consequences. It was startling for her to be in a situation where it felt impossible to say no. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and by the time that the limo had come to a halt outside of the venue, Audrey was smiling at her and insisting that she had made the right choice. She had preserved she and Juliette's spot in the Alpha house, and she had paid a bizarre price for it. With Audrey watching from behind, she followed directions and clasped Weston's hand as they headed inside of the venue.

Audrey and Hudson had insisted that the two of them needed to spend the night together, but at the very least, Charlotte could say that she was glad that the two house presidents hadn't insisted on following them around all night, too. She didn't doubt that the two of them would be watching, but watching from afar was highly preferred over them actually hovering over her and Weston all night. Like Audrey and Hudson had said in the car, one of Weston's Beta brothers was waiting for them near the entrance with a couple of drinks, to avoid them having to go over to the crowded bar themselves, and in Audrey's words, get "distracted". Charlotte took this as one more attempt by Audrey, to keep Charlotte away from Zetas and "bad influences", but at that point, she couldn't even object. She took her drink from the senior Beta, and followed Weston over to some couches in the quieter area of the venue, that had a little bit more of a lounge vibe to it.

Before they had even got to talking, really, Weston had done what Hudson had insisted he do immediately, and that was request a relationship status change on Facebook. Charlotte hated Facebook and barely ever used it, but knowing that Audrey would come for her if she objected, she passively accepted the request that Weston sent her, issuing a public statement that they were now "in a relationship". The entire thing made her roll her eyes, and that was the most harmless thing that she could do in reaction to it all. "Now that I'm allowed to actually speak," Wes began, referring to how Hudson had shut him down multiple times during the ride, "Let me say that I had no more of a say in this than you did. I'm basically being blackmailed into this 'relationship' too, so don't think that I had anything to do with it." His voice was apologetic more than anything. He knew that he had no more of a reason to apologize than she did, but since Hudson hadn't gone into depth in the car like Audrey had, it seemed necessary. He didn't want her to think that he was either pathetic enough to need to find a girl who had to be blackmailed into dating him, or that he was trying to take advantage of her and this situation, by going after her when she had no say in the matter.

What was frustrating for Charlotte, was that she was barely being blackmailed. Audrey couldn't leak anything on her that she wouldn't leak about herself. Charlotte didn't have many things that she was ashamed of. The things that the Alphas found to be embarrassing or repulsive were things that seemed socially mundane to her, in most cases. She was being forced into this because of her sister. That was what Audrey was holding over her head - her sister's membership to the Alpha Theta Pi sorority. No matter how frequently Charlotte said that she wanted to kill Juliette, she was a good enough sister to know that this sorority meant everything to Juliette, and she had enough of a heart to sacrifice her own dignity to protect her sister. Clearly, Audrey was well aware of that, and all the more willing to take advantage of it. That was what was infuriating about all of this. "What does he have over you?" she inquired, sipping the daiquiri in her hand. She knew that she needed to do more than just sip, if she wanted to get through this night, but at the same time, she knew that if she let that side of her take hold, she would be passed out drunk in an hour, tops.

A part of Weston felt like just being honest with Charlotte. She seemed down to earth enough to not be homophobic, and to maybe have enough decency in her to feel sympathetic towards his dilemma. At the same time, after Hudson's reaction towards it, and the passiveness that Audrey had shown in not defending him, Weston wasn't convinced that things would definitely pan out that way. It seemed safer to just brush off the question. "Just stupid shit that he's going to hold over my head, or kick me out over. He thinks dating an Alpha will turn me into future-Beta-president-material, I guess," he said, shaking his head bitterly. Although he had a drink in hand, like Charlotte, he had not taken more than a sip so far. He was too distracted and uneasy to trust himself with alcohol, though he really doubted he would have enough self-control all night to not drink. Charlotte had only nodded to his answer, and while he appreciated her leaving it at that, he felt compelled to make more conversation. Unlike her, he wasn't fully content with allowing space to be filled with silence. Especially when said space was between him and a stranger, and when that stranger was supposed to suddenly now be his girlfriend. "But I guess if we're both actually going to go through with this, we should come up with a cover story? Something to tell our friends, because I know at least mine are going to be confused about how I went from never talking about a girl, to dating her, in a matter of twenty minutes," he explained, a slight laugh following.

Charlotte nodded. She was thinking the same thing, and was actually surprised that Audrey hadn't handed them printed out scripts for what they were supposed to say, word for word, to anyone who inquired about this pretend relationship. She knew that she had a lot of people to explain this to. Her Big, Naomi, was one who she really wanted to text at that very moment and vent to, but who Audrey had specifically stated needed to be told the exact same lie as everyone else. Juliette was surely going to be shocked about this, and Charlotte already knew that she would find a way to spin this into her being offended, too. It wasn't even going to be hard, in this case, since Charlotte was well aware of the crush her sister had on Weston. Then, she knew that Michaela and Jazmyn would want an explanation about this. On top of that, she was already expecting the teasing that would surely come from them about this, and the thought of all of that and more had her reaching for her drink once again. "We can just say that we kept things private, I guess, because we didn't think that anything would come of it at first. We can say there was some friends with benefits stuff going on for a little while, and that we just decided to make things exclusive, if that works for you." She didn't know what kind of story would make any more sense than that, and the little details didn't even matter to her, much. While she would tell the lie to begin with, Charlotte knew that at some point, she would feel inclined to tell those closest to her the truth.

"How do you do it?" Hudson and Audrey had allowed Weston and Charlotte to go off and get to know each other, since that kind of seemed like a necessary step in two strangers suddenly dating each other. Hudson had picked up drinks for himself and the Alpha President, and caught up with her a few minutes later, to find her doing what she did best - wowing people. She was involved in a conversation with an Alpha alum, who Hudson immediately recognized as Emily Perry, a girl who had been Alpha president a few years before he had even gotten to Fulton. Hudson was only privy to who she was, because his Big, who had graduated a year before, had always spoken about the insane crush that he had on the girl. Hudson had met her a few times, mostly at events like this, where she returned as an alum, when she was able to get time off from work. Like most Alphas, she was already highly successful, moving her way up the ranks at Nordstrom's department store in the administration field, all while additionally working on her own swimwear line that was supposed to launch at the department store in a few months. His own Big's obsession with this girl probably played a role in why Hudson had developed his own on Audrey. His Big had instilled in him that the Alpha girls were perfect, and that they were more than just one-night-stand-goals. They were wife goals, and if you found one that was perfect enough to actually make you think about marriage, you couldn't let her go. In addition to Emily, whose mere presence only made Hudson focus on Audrey more, the group consisted of a few older women and men, who were introduced as Beta and Alpha alumni. Hudson conversed with the Beta alumni more than the Alpha, but he listened intently to what Audrey was saying, and how she always seemed to know exactly what to say.

When the conversation fizzled out, Hudson and Audrey excused themselves and gravitated towards a

"Hmm?" she answered, her eyebrows furrowing only slightly in confusion as she looked at Hudson over the drink she was raising towards her lips. After taking a sip, she pulled the glass away and stirred the straw in it around some, deciding that it had tasted too strong at first. Audrey always loved a good buzz, but events like these were not just for fun. They were for networking, and she would be damned if she ended up making a fool of herself for the sake of a few cocktails. There was a time and a place for being sloppy, and the Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls event was not that kind of place.

"How do you do everything so... flawlessly?" he marveled, resting against a high top table that they were standing by.

"You're sweet, Hudson, but isn't it time for you to go woo a girl who's actually going to end up in your bed tonight? I don't want to take away from your sexual endeavors, you know," she said, giving him a pointed, yet playful look. She had to find her girls anyway, after reading and leaving Ya Ya's text unanswered. She hadn't seen the junior all afternoon, and she missed her Ya Ya, for one, and secondly, had to make sure that she (and the rest of her girls) weren't being swarmed by all of the people that Audrey was sure would be attracted to them tonight, given how good they looked. Then, after she checked in on her Alphas and maybe mingled a bit more with some of the alumni at the event, she certainly needed to physically check on Charlotte. Until then, though, she opted to send the brunette a text instead.

To: Charlotte
Are we behaving ourselves?

To: Ya Ya
Coming to find you, my love <3

Hudson could only smirk at Audrey, trying to read her more deeply, but deciding that she was probably right. If she didn't want anything fun to come out of tonight, it wasn't going to do him any good to cling to her like a lost puppy. There were Betas to mingle with, current Beta brothers to monitor, drinks to down, and like Audrey said, girls to woo. When Audrey walked off, he finished off the glass of scotch he had been drinking, and headed towards the bar for round two. That wasn't before crossing paths with Maddox, who was talking to some Theta girl. Hudson didn't slow his pace, but smirked at Maddox in passing and offered him a thumbs up, a reference to the demand that his boys needed approval to take a Theta home for the night. He didn't make it to the bar after that anyway, due to being intercepted by a few Beta alumni members.

Audrey made it to the bar with fewer interruptions, though she was tempted to approach Naomi first, since the girl was standing a few feet from the bar, but still within sight's view. She had seen her earlier, though, so getting to Ya Ya seemed more urgent. Spotting her near Archie, Audrey graced the pair with a smile, ignoring the irrelevant Zetas who stood nearby. "She never fails to impress, does she?" Audrey smiled, looking to Archie and nodding at Ya Ya. "I can't say that I was happy with you abandoning us earlier, but given that this is the finished product, I'll forgive you for it," she teased.

Yaya looked across the bar in mild boredom. It wasn't that the party wasn't impressive, it was, but honestly the main reason she came was for Ben and she had accomplished her goal. Of course the point was also to be a proper representative of the Alpha's which would usually be goal number one but again Ben. Her phone buzzed loudly on the counter of the bar and she picked it up quickly. A smile formed on her face as she saw a text from Naomi light the screen up. She had another text from Abby as well but she decided she would respond once she found Naomi.

She was going to step away from the bar to seek Naomi but a flash of bright red hair caught her attention and Audrey appeared in front of her. "I can't say that I was happy with you abandoning us earlier, but given that this was the finished product, I'll forgive you for it." She felt a good natured smile forming on her lips as she accepted Audrey's praise. Whether she wanted to admit it or not Audrey's approval was a bit important to her. Audrey was very accomplished as well as powerful and having her on your side was an important tool.

"Thanks, I was really proud of this look. Plus today was important so I figured why not go all the way out? It worked anyways Ben has forgiven me and we're dating again, just casually this time." She had multiple reasons for telling Audrey about Ben. For one thing she knew that Audrey would correct the stupid rumors of them being broken up for good to the rest of the Alphas but also because she was her friend, and in a rare show of friendship, she wanted to share something good that was going on in her life. Also she was tipsy, definitely tipsy.

She glanced at her phone again and then in the direction of the door. "Hey Naomi just got here, let's go greet her." She suggested as she headed in the direction of the front door. When she finally made it to Naomi she smirked at her and tilted her head to the side making her hair tumble to one side, "Well lookie what we have here." She said with a small friendly smile. She remembered Abby's text and she pulled her phone out quickly.

She responded to Abby with a quick message that said: Hey by the door with Naomi and Audrey. Once that sent she also sent a message to Ben saying: I'm by the front door come find me I want to dance once I'm done talking to Naomi and Audrey.

Audrey didn't know how to respond to Ayala's revelation that she and Ben were back together, so she only put on a smile and raised her eyebrows as if to express surprise. In truth, she did know how to respond to it, but she doubted that her response was going to be the one that Ayala wanted to hear. Audrey wouldn't have been mean or even truly pessimistic about the idea of Ya Ya dating Ben again, but she knew that she couldn't be as authentically happy as Ayala probably wanted her to be. The thing was that Audrey couldn't completely blame Ben for being upset with Ya Ya when they had started dating. She did not know every single detail of the relationship, but she had caught on to the idea that Ben wasn't pleased with how much attention Ya Ya seemed to garner from other males. And Audrey couldn't blame him, especially given that her Alpha liked to pull the "it's not my fault" and "I have no control over it" card.

Ya Ya was an incredibly beautiful girl and no one was denying that, but did Audrey believe that she played into that? Yes. Did she believe that Ayala was insecure enough to need that extra attention from random men, as a sort of validation factor, even if she was supposed to be content with just the attention from her man? Absolutely. Therefore, did she believe that Ayala was as innocent as she claimed to be in all that happened when people hit on her? Definitely not. Every girl in the Alpha house was gorgeous. There were girls like Juliette, who literally had everything that a high fashion model needed to possess, and yet, Audrey was convinced that if any of them were in relationships, unwanted flirtation would either simply not happen as frequently as it apparently did to Ya Ya, or it would be shut down much faster, and in a way that it wouldn't happen again. Audrey wasn't judging Ya Ya for liking that attention, or for knowing that she was very attractive and playing into it sometimes for a confidence boost, but she didn't think that it was right for Ya Ya to act like she was basically a damsel in distress from being hit on. That was something that she could only roll her eyes about, and that said something, given that Audrey didn't even like Ben to begin with. She didn't hate him, per se, but she definitely didn't see him as being on Ayala's level. She had a feeling that Ayala didn't want to hear Audrey's opinion on how their relationship wasn't going to work out any better this time than it did last, unless she too was willing to change herself, rather than blaming Ben for his insecurities. Audrey didn't always quiet herself to comfort people, but Ya Ya was a friend, and now didn't seem like the best time to try and shake some sense into her. "I'll catch up with you guys in a bit. I want to check in on Juliette and Abby, and also, make sure you save some time before too many more drinks hit your system, to find Emily Perry, class of 2010 Alpha President. I'm sure I've introduced you to her before at an event, but she was asking me about who I think might be fit to take over next year, once I'm gone, and I mentioned you. She wanted to talk, nothing major, but I think it would be good if you sought her out at some point. Also, one of Hudson's father's friends is here, and I just learned that he's a bigwig at HarperCollins Publishers, so go find Hudson and then sell yourself, Dolly. Oh, and don't forget to thank me when you make it to the New York Times Best Sellers List," she added, with a wink, before allowing her to go find Naomi, and turning off in the opposite direction herself.

Audrey had not been close enough to the fight to watch it break out, play-for-play, but like many people in the area, her attention was drawn to it once the commotion began. It caused her conversation with a couple of her Alpha sisters to end abruptly, and when she spotted Hudson weaseling his way through the crowd, she followed behind, only to pause at the edge of the scene. It allowed her a safe enough distance to watch what was happening, and considering that none of her Alpha girls who were right by the fight appeared to have been harmed in any way, she didn't feel the need to get any closer. She didn't want to be associated with such foolishness, and she was already bothered that Naomi, Ya Ya and Abigail were right in the middle of this. When one considered that Audrey valued her reputation and image so highly on a normal day, it should have come as no surprise, that she was even more particular about it at events like this. In certain respects, she was definitely high strung, but at the same time, her desire for things to be perfect wasn't completely understandable. She had spent her entire life feeling like she needed to prove herself to her parents to receive any form of love or recognition. She was essentially raised by her teachers and advisers, given that she had went to boarding school for the entirety of her academic life before college, so she was never given much personal affection or recognition from her parents. To earn that, she had to do things that were exceptional. She learned that coming in second place was no better than coming in last place, and that there was no point in trying at all, if you weren't trying to be the best.

Yes, Audrey's image was very important to her for those personal reasons, and yes, she believed that her sorority sisters making bad choices hurt her image, but she didn't stress the importance of first impressions and reputations to them solely for selfish reasons. Alpha girls were the girls who were supposed to go out and do the most in life. They were expected to excel in whatever they did, all while being the most attractive and personable and well-rounded, compared to other girls. And Audrey wanted nothing less for these girls, who she really did see as family at this point. She wanted them all to impress alumni, get their name out there for future internships and job openings. She wanted them to engage in conversations with people who worked in the fields that they planned on going into, and network. She didn't want them to show these alumni, many of whom were successful and powerful themselves, that they were still just a bunch of immature kids who were friends with the delinquents who were tossed to the curb. That was a job that she would leave vacant for the Zetas, but to her dismay, this little brawl had only involved Betas, Kappas, and then Thetas and Alphas as spectators. Their foolishness was actually making the Sigmas and Zetas look good, and if that wasn't unacceptable in itself, Audrey didn't know what was.

The night had only just begun, and though now, she was fairly certain that she wasn't going to be able to have a good time tonight, she knew that she couldn't leave. Not when now, she felt like she had to make up for the scene that had just erupted. No one important would probably notice Ayala or Abigail's absences, but in addition to having to make up for that, she felt like she had to work on damage control for the Betas. Hudson would have to work his magic there for the most part, but the Betas and Alphas would always be linked as the top houses on Fulton's campus, and when bad press hit one, the other felt it. Or, at least, that was what Audrey thought. Though Abigail and Ayala's sudden and unnecessary exit bothered her, Audrey decided to believe that maybe, they were just walking Ben out. She would give them the benefit of the doubt for now, but she wasn't stupid, and was already sending out a text to Naomi, as well as the rest of the senior Alpha girls who lived in their house. It read, "Clear your schedules after classes tomorrow. House meeting with a few of our younger girls who seemed to forget what being an Alpha means tonight." Right after sending that, she sent two more texts out. One went to Charlotte, reading, "How's it going ;)?", and another to Juliette reading, "Hi my love!! Sorry for going MIA! Where are you? Missing your pretty face and I need to talk to you!"

"Why do you look like a supermodel?"

"Why do you look like shit?" Amaris shot back, unrepentant, as she approached the haggard-looking Kappa. Nick shot her an unimpressed glare, but Amaris only raised a delicate eyebrow, stopping directly in front of where he sat. It was only 11:25 and very much still morning, but Nick had been up and about at eight in the morning for a three hour lab he honestly should have scheduled for the afternoon. However, like the dumb ass Amaris had called him when they were planning out their schedules just before the summer, Nick had insisted on doing a few classes in the morning. He was up anyway; he had mused. Except, he obviously hadn't factored in nights like last night, where he had chugged more rum and cokes he probably should have. Luckily, he hadn't thrown his entire existence up in the toilet - a win, if you asked him - but he damn sure didn't leave unscathed. Amaris had made sure to give him enough water to counteract the worst part of the hangover, but there was no denying by the tired look on his features. Amaris held two travel mugs in her hands and after a shake of her head, which was accompanied by a light chuckle, she handed one of them to him.

"Such a good friend. Provides for me while insulting me, I'm so grateful," he replied sarcastically. He did, in the next breath, gratefully take two large swallows of the caffeinated beverage, delighting in the hot sweetness that flowed on his tongue. While Amaris acted like she had hated her job at Starbucks during freshman year, she hadn't walked away from it without skills and the truth was that Nick preferred going to the Theta house for his coffee fixes as opposed to Starbucks. They had a lot of the same syrups and even fixings, and Amaris made a mean caramel snickerdoodle frappucino, a treat from Starbucks' secret menu that still tasted great with her Lavazza espresso. He practically moaned on another drink and Amaris rolled her eyes as he declared, This is everything."

"I bet." Sipping at her own, Amaris waited for him to rise for them to continue, heading towards towards the gated entrance so that they could leave to get to the food trucks that lined the sidewalk during this time. Most days, Fulton Students finessed their way through the lunch rush at the Student Center's main cafeteria, hoping to get that quick bite in between classes or at the various small delis, bakeries, sushi spots, grille, and coffee shops on campus. They had pretty decent chefs on campus, that much Amaris had realized during freshman year, but the real treat was at the food trucks of Miami that came to take up college kid dollars that honestly should be kept in their wallets. However, the food was always good, no one ever walked away unsatisfied, and she herself had partaken in the food truck frenzy a few times. Today wasn't that day as, since she hadn't had to go to work first thing in the morning because she had been helping with a project that had taken up some late nights, which resulted in her having Monday off, she had cooked for herself to save a bit of money. Her spaghetti squash mixed with kale, apples, and chicken sat, warm, in a container, inside of her purse beside a Vitamin water, just waiting for them to sit and eat. "Unlike some people, I had to meet with the board this morning since certain people's brothers decided they were street fighters at an alumni event."

"Hey, you said that you saw what happened - "

"Yes, and regardless of what might have incited the first blow, one of your boys was the one who delivered it," Amaris interrupted, giving Nick a rather pointed look. While she had definitely stressed the fact that obviously the boys had responded in lieu of a verbal assault from the Betas, and also making sure the board remembered that there was a lengthy history of assaults from the Betas that hadn't resulted in last night's actions and that such a display was bound to happen at their behest due to their own negligence (yes, Amaris took that risk), the Kappas boys involved weren't exactly going to walk away without reprimanding and a small punishment. Neither were the two Beta boys, regardless of their acting in self-defense. "Ben and Danny have to do seventy-two hours of community service and help clean up after the Beta and Alpha event on Wednesday." Nick's mouth opened, but he closed it a moment later.

"And the other guys?"

"Community service," she replied, nodding at the truck Nick was bound to pick. He had a deep love for anything Asian and Amaris liked Dim Ssam a Go-Go just as much as he did. Nick shot her a small smile before heading over to look at the menu he was already familiar with. "Might as well text them, though. We need to have a meeting to make that announcement." Nick frowned, but he didn't refuse, pulling out his own phone just as Amaris pulled out her own from her Saint Laurent purse.

To: Hudson
Your boys need to fulfill 72 hrs of community service. Monetary contributions to foundations do not count, I checked.

To: Hayden, Danny, Ben
Meeting in an hour. Getting lunch now, but Mare has the verdict from the board.

_____________________________________________
Monday and Wednesdays were Audrey's busiest school days, but she had a break between classes until twelve-thirty, so once she got home from her morning classes, she knew exactly how she wanted to put her time gap to use today. She had things that she needed to do, like actually sit down and eat, since she was never a breakfast person and didn't consume more than a granola bar or a piece of fruit on her way to her first class, or get some work done to stay ahead of the game in the business class she had just left, but right now, this seemed more important. A house meeting. She needed to hold a house meeting, because she definitely had some qualms over the events that occurred last night. It probably wouldn't seem like it today, but Audrey loved her Alpha girls. She really and truly did, and that was why it genuinely hurt her when they disappointed her. She set high standards for them, yes, but most of those standards were set by the generations of Alphas before her. It wasn't like she had taken over the presidency and brought their house to the top of the social ladder. No, she was only here to ensure that they maintained that position, and if she allowed her girls to slack, they would be letting her down, but Audrey knew that she would be letting the entire Alpha Theta Pi Greek society down, and she absolutely was not going to allow that to happen.

To: Naomi, Ya Ya, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte
House meeting at 11:45. This is absolutely mandatory, so if I don't find you in the kitchen then, expect to find your belongings waiting for you on the curb when you do decide to show up.

Audrey was being dramatic there, but it wasn't a stretch to call her ruthless, and when people didn't take her seriously or respect her, she could be dramatic, and follow through on threats simply to prove that no one else should try and cross her. She wasn't necessarily angry with Naomi or Juliette, so she wasn't going to be as perturbed by them claiming that they couldn't make it as she would the other three, but she still wanted the two of them to be present. Naomi had been there to witness the fight between the Kappas and the Betas, and the mere association of Alphas being present at the scene wasn't a good look for their house. Juliette, on the other hand, had not done anything even indirectly wrong last night, but Audrey felt like she had to demand her presence as well. Mostly, honestly, because she felt guilty. Before the party was over last night, Charlotte told Audrey that she had left the party early to spend time at the Beta house with Weston. After Hudson was able to confirm that Weston was giving him the same story, Audrey was pleased that the Arnault had seemingly given in to the relationship demand. Charlotte, however, had not informed her sister of where she was, and Charlotte had already told Audrey that she wasn't going to be the one to tell Juliette about this forced relationship, because they both knew that Juliette had a not-so-secret crush on Weston. Really, the majority of the Alpha house was aware of that, so of course, Juliette was likely going to be very upset that someone else, and her sister of all people, had removed Wes from the "available" zone, and placed him in the "taken" zone. As heartless as Audrey probably seemed, threatening Juliette's spot in their sorority to Charlotte, it wasn't like she didn't love her Little. She did... and believe it or not, she had enough of a heart to feel like absolute shit knowing that she had to break the news to Juliette, all while knowing that it was her manipulation that was forcing this. However, she was insistent on reminding herself that she wasn't evil, because she wasn't purposely doing this to break Juliette's heart. She told herself that indirectly, she was actually saving Juliette by forcing Charlotte to date Wes, because if Charlotte continued to be a rebel, the two of them would both have to leave the sorority.

Even though Juliette was not aware of Audrey's involvement in the relationship, and only knew what she told her, that Charlotte and Wes had secretly been seeing each other for a few weeks, and had finally decided to go public, her heart still sunk when she watched the girl's expression transform from its normally perky one, to one that read a mixture of confusion and hurt and betrayal. Had anyone else upset her Little, and Audrey would have left the party early with Juliette, and spent the rest of the night comforting her. Given that she knew that the girl's pain came from her own actions made Audrey want to distance herself from the emotions as much as possible, and that was why she let Juliette leave early and didn't even knock on the girl's bedroom door when she got home. She definitely felt guilty, and even if she could justify it in her head, she knew that she wanted to do something to make Juliette feel better, but right now, she had bigger problems to worry about. During an earlier break between classes, she had constructed a list of points that she needed to address at this house meeting, so once she was in the kitchen, she opened them up on her phone and reviewed them.

xxxxxxx"Do you think we'll be in love forever? Do you think we'll be in love?"

"Do I smell blueberry pancakes?" Yaya rolled her eyes at his attempt to change the subject, "Uh uh mister once we're done with breakfast you're going to that meeting." She said with what she hoped was a serious face, "Solidarity and repentance is key in situations like this so you'll go to the meeting and you'll apologize to whoever you have to and then you can come home to me and complain about your stupid punishment." She ended her scolding by kissing him on the nose and grabbed the pancakes and her food off the foot of the bed. She handed him his before sitting next to him with her legs folded under the covers.

She had opened up her food container and begun to eat when her phone pinged with a text message, a text from Archie. She read over it before glancing at Ben, "Archie text me" She said matter of factly before stealing a piece of his pancakes from his container. "He wants to meet up for coffee, I think he wants to apologize " She added glancing up at him. "I'm gonna go. He's my friend and he probably feels bad that he instigated the fight."She hoped that meeting with Archie didn't ruin how happy and content they were right now. Last night felt so right and she didn't want to end it today by arguing over Archie. Besides she had no intentions of giving Archie a free pass for last night either. Yeah Ben and Danny were the first to throw blows but it's not like Archie was super innocent either. She responded to Archie's text by saying: Yeah I'd like that. I'll text you when I'm on my way. Where do you want to meet?

Once they had finished their food she set it aside again and straddled him in bed so that they could be eye to eye. "Archie is my friend..."She started, "But I promise you, Benjamin Alexandre Cardoso, that I'm not going anywhere. " She slid her sweater over her head and slid her arms around his neck before leaning in to kiss him. She was hoping for a repeat of last night but another ping from her phone told her that was not happening. She groaned and pulled away to grab it off the bed, a text from Audrey. This one demanding that she be downstairs... she looked at the clock on the phone, now. "Shit, " She cussed climbing out of bed and sliding her sweater back on along with a pair of black jeans. She added a bunch of necklaces because she hadn't even done a hickey check yet. She ran into the bathroom and brushed her teeth before grabbed a brush and brushed her hair into a high ponytail and dashing to her drawer to grab some low socks. She spotted black high heeled booties under her bed and she grabbed those too and slipped them on. She made sure she grabbed her phone, keys, and wallet before she said bye to Ben. She glanced at him wistfully, "We'll finish that later I promise.
