Childhood/Family Life:
The head of the Arnault clan is Bernard Arnault, age 67, who is a French business magnate, investor and art collector. He has been the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH since 1989. From 1973 to 1990, Bernard was in a marriage that produced four children. Following his divorce from this wife, he spent some years dating and returning his focus to his business. In 1997, he met Jacqueline McEnroe, a young artist who was living in New York City at the time. The two began dating, and wed a year later. In 1999, they had their first child, a son named Nolan, and everything seemed to be going great for the new little family. As always, when things seem too good to be true, they probably are, and the Arnaults got a wake up call when Bernard received a legal document in the mail demanding that he submit to a paternity test to two children who were born just months after their son. A one night stand that Bernard had had during his marriage produced the two little girls, and though it nearly broke up his marriage with Jacqueline, after some begging and pleading, she agreed not to leave him. On of the stipulations of that agreement, though, was that he fight for custody of his daughters, and surprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly, given that the woman he was battling worked at a burlesque club he had visited), a hefty sum of cash was enough for the woman to relinquish custody of the two girls that she had never wanted in the first place, either. Though their first few months on the planet were hectic, its not something that Charlotte and Juliette were ever really forced to relive, because Jacqueline treated and raised them just like they were her own children.

Juliette's childhood was something that people dream about. Her family was as financially secure as they came, and no wishes were too big to be granted. She attended a private K-12 school with her siblings for her K-8 years, and at least socially, she thrived there. She didn't do quite as well academically, but at least during that time, it genuinely was because she was struggling with learning disabilities and just not being intelligent enough to keep up with her classmates. As she grew older, her own tendency to neglect school work played a role in it too, but it's important to note that even as a child, she struggled with school. The social comfort she had at school made her love New York though, so when Charlotte managed to get herself expelled, and their parents insisted all of the siblings transfer together, Juliette was devastated. For one, she didn't want to leave her friends and New York. That was her entire life, and moving across the country, and being forced to live in dorms was daunting to her. Nothing could compare to the life she had in New York. Beyond just the expected stress of having to give up her friends and what she was comfortable with, leaving home was also scary for Juliette for more personal reasons. Out of her siblings, she had always been the one who was the most sensitive, and the most needy in terms of extra TLC. She was exceptionally close with her mother, and not having someone to take care of her left her feeling shaken... and very home sick for her first few weeks at Crossroads. It ended up being a very necessary push in giving her the bit of independence and responsibility that she needed, but she didn't see it that way when she was fourteen. Additionally, only a year before starting at Crossroads, Juliette had been diagnosed with an eating disorder, based on weight-perception. She was heavily treated for it during her eighth grade year, and was nearly in remission by the time that she left for Crossroads, but that sudden change didn't do much good in keeping her on track health wise. Today, she's far better than she was a few years ago, and though she still has some tendencies to suggest that she's no where near "recovered" yet, she's getting there. College has made her busy enough that she doesn't have as much time as she wants to to get very caught up on her habits and tendencies, but for the most part, it's her sorority life over the actual college work that distracts her in a positive way. Fulton and college in general has been a... transition for Juliette. Boarding school in itself was a step towards independence, but college is the real deal, and Kat has definitely struggled to be a responsible student and person, but she's doing better sophomore year than freshman.

Quirks//Habits//Oddities:
She's emotional and cries easily, be it from true distress, or just being stressed out and tired. She's dramatic and can twist stories to see ten times more horrible than they really are, if she's the victim. She is an extremely picky eater, and it's likely related to her eating disorder struggles. It's quite obvious when she's really upset, because that's the only time she can manage to not talk.

Good personality traits:
Exuberant, Affectionate, Genuine, Warm

Bad personality traits:
Shallow, Absent-minded, Emotional, Impulsive

Personality:
Unlike her siblings, Juliette never felt the need to break out of that trust fund baby mold. She comes from wealth and realized that at an early age, and isn't afraid to embrace, and sometimes even flaunt it. She's that girl who you can tell, only by one minimal conversation with her, that she's never had to work a day in her life, is oblivious to many "real world" problems, and probably will never work half as hard as other people work in a year, in her entire lifetime. She has daddy funding her credit card with a seemingly unlimited pile of money at the other end, and never hesitates to splurge on a new pair of Chanel boots that she just has to have. If her siblings weren't ambitious or at least grounded in their own right, maybe it would be harder to blame her for that, because it could just be blamed on her upbringing. You could brush off her selfish, materialistic ways with her just being raised poorly, and her parents allowing her to believe that money and "things" were the most important things in the world. Nolan and Charlie aren't like that though, which definitely alienates Juliette as the "brat" of the family. Luckily for her, her innocent brattiness is often preferred to Charlotte's actual rebellious ways, so it's just easier for her to get away with it, despite being seventeen, and at an age where a lot of the shit she pulls normally shouldn't fly. Although she is obsessed with having the newest and nicest everything, shopping has become more than just getting new things for Juliette. It's therapeutic for her, a way to distract herself from any problems or stress going on in her life. Though it's helping in the short term, it's apparent that her reckless spending habits keep her distanced from the real world. It might not be something that is apparent to those in her inner circle who are very similar to her financially, but to an average Joe, it would be very clear that Juliette is fairly delusional. Maybe everyone who lives a life of such privilege is, to some extent, but when she has a fit over not being able to take some international vacation or buy a ridiculously expensive new dress, she actually thinks it's as much of an injustice as someone being deprived of their basic human rights.

She can be shallow, often judging people based on their appearance and the little information that she's heard about them through gossip. While she probably would talk about them behind their back, she wouldn't normally bully or taunt anyone to their face. She claims that it's okay to be a bitch, but not to be mean, and when it comes to gossip, she's more of a follower than the mastermind behind it. Although she doesn't mind contributing to the rumors circulating about other people, she does become very emotional when ones start spreading about her. She's sensitive to criticism and is usually the girl who ends up hysterically crying about a problems from months ago after a night of drinking. Her biggest insecurity is her weight. She has been diagnosed with an eating disorder when she was thirteen, and although she recognizes that she's statistically underweight, it doesn't change the way that she feels about her body. This is one more reason for why she tends to get away with her behavior in her family. She was always seen as the weak one, in a sense... the one who needed that extra attention, who needed to be "handled with care" and looked after just a bit more than the others. Claiming that her parents developed a soft spot for her that they didn't give to the other children probably isn't accurate, but it's worth noting that both of her parents realized early on that Juliette was sensitive, and therefore, they did their best to offer her a little bit more wiggle room than the others.

Despite the flaws, Juliette is loyal to her friends. She's affectionate, reliable and warm, but her impulsive and absentmindedness can sometimes get the best of her. When she's in a moment of gossiping and isn't thinking thoroughly, she's known to accidentally air her friend's secrets to other people, without even realizing that there's anything wrong with that. In almost every area of her life, it's clear that Juliette is impulsive. Whether it's buying thousands of dollars worth of clothes that she has no intention of ever wearing, or drinking herself into a blackout state, it's hard for her to control herself when she's in the mood to indulge in something. She can be reckless and make stupid choices, but her friends can all agree that she's always a fun person to have around. She's spontaneous, bold and energetic, always being up for a night out or an adventure.

Greatest joys in life:
She loves new things, shopping, her sorority, fashion, and her parents.

Greatest fears:
She fears needles, insects, gaining weight, and losing control.

Life philosophy:
"You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want."
by S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders

Likes:
Autumn → Fall in New York offers the perfect weather, and it's one of the biggest thing she misses about being in California for most of the year. They get some season change, but not as much as the north east offered.
Travelling → She isn't the biggest fan of flying but loves being in new and different places, especially if it's tropical or makes for a good Instagram picture.
Anything new → This is relevant to material things, because she isn't a fan of new and change in any other sense. She loves getting gifts, buying things for herself, and just generally relishing in something new and fresh.
Alcohol → Being underage isn't much of a hassle when you have connections, a family name, and lots of money.

Dislikes:
Driving → She tried taking her road test two times over the summer, and failed both times. She'll readily admit that she's a horrible driver and at this point, has no plans on taking the test again.
Needles → She's that person who's still going to cry when they're getting their flu shot at forty years old.
Soda → She'll drink it in a mixed drink, but never on its own.
Fish → She's a very picky eater in general, but there are certain things like fish, that she has always just refused to try. She doesn't even know if she likes it or not, she's just too scared to try it.

Thoughts on Greek Life:
Juliette knew, ever since high school, that she wanted to be in a sorority. Her mother always raved about her social life in college, thanks to her sorority, and after seeing them portrayed in movies and on television, she just knew that it would be the place for her. Really, the idea of joining a sorority was the only thing that made the idea of going to college seem bearable to her. At first, because of her grades, Juliette knew that she wouldn't have even been able to get into Fulton, but thankfully, her parents were able to pull some strings to get her in. It's a given that she ended up an Alpha, given her legacy, her money, and more than anything else, her personality. She believes that it's the only reputable house in the system and she definitely does look down on the other sorority houses, and any fraternity other than the Beta house.

Plans for after college:
Juliette has absolutely no idea about what she wants to pursue, career wise, after college. She thinks that she will end up doing something under her father's company, but has no set aspirations in that realm. Right now, she's just set on the idea of moving to New York after she graduates.

Most people spend Sunday trying to prepare themselves for the droll and unwanted responsibilities that come about come the dreaded Monday morning. They sip their tea, drink that last bit of wine, and lay in bed trying to decide if they're really going to be petty enough to pretend like they're sick in this call to their office, scrounging up every excuse in the book as to why they can't go to work, school, or wherever the daylight happens to take them. However, for the students at Fulton University, instead of the lackadaisical doings of their typical Sunday evenings, the air around campus (and throughout the city) is alive with anticipation as people pre-game and prepare for a night of carefree drinking, dancing, and even drama...

...especially drama, particularly when the Greek life students are involved.

Some students are still in dorms, apartments and houses getting ready for the Guys in Ties & Girls in Pearls event hosted by Fulton's own Greek Life Alumna Association. Girls are just finishing the finishing touches to their hair or just sliding into velvet dresses, lacing up and slipping into heels of various styles. Sipping on glasses of wine or champagne, giggling over their shared excitement over how the night could unfold and the plans they've already made. Maybe even the tipsiness they already have. And guys are fastening on cuff links, straightening up the suits some just got from dry-cleaning or delivered by their favorite tailoring services. Quaffing glasses of scotch or taking shots to the head in preparation for how absolutely trashed they're bound to be by night's end.

Regardless of where everyone is - even those who are known for being rather prompt as opposed to fashionably late - it's bound to be a night of sensuous, luxurious, riveting and possibly even scandalous fun...so just like the Alumna Association asked on twitter, where can we find you?

"You're sure I should wear this dress, right? It really doesn't make me look... wide?" Juliette questioned, her face contorted with self-doubt as she peered at her reflection in the mirror on the wall. Turning sideways, she craned her neck to the side to glance at the back of her reflection, only to feel just as restless and disappointed with what she saw. Nothing ever looked good enough on her, in her opinion, and it was a miracle that she had actually settled on something tonight, even considering the way she was still doubting it.

Ironically, Charlotte was feeling just as insecure tonight, even though that wasn't a typical emotion for her. She wasn't the kind of girl who liked getting all dressed up, and while she would wear a sundress or romper from time to time, gowns and cocktail dresses were things she only sported on very rare occasions. Those occasions were usually just family events that she was dragged to, back at home, but ever since she pledged Alpha, she had been forced to black tie events that demanded the attire, as well. Tonight was a perfect example of that, and considering that she had very little in her closet that fit the dress code well enough, she had to borrow an ensemble from her sister's wardrobe. Even if Charlotte felt out of place in this sort of attire, though, she was never very vocal about it. She didn't like complaining about things that she couldn't change, and even if she didn't feel completely herself in her outfit, she wasn't dreading tonight's party. It wasn't an Alpha/Beta-only event, and that meant that there was a good chance that she could have fun. "You look better than fine, Jules. Stop asking that," Charlotte insisted sternly, though her voice hinted at the kindness she intended to say it with. "Everything about your outfit is perfect, now would you please finish painting my other hand?" she continued, waving the one hand that had no nail polish on it, while the other rested on the bathroom counter top drying.

"Yes, yes, I'm getting to it!" Juliette nearly groaned, her eyes remaining on her reflection for a moment longer, before she stepped back towards Charlotte. She carefully took a seat on the stool by the counter, making sure not to wrinkle her dress too much, as she picked up the brush from the bottle of the nude polish. "You need to be more patient. It's not my fault that you literally decided to wait until the last minute to paint your nails. I specifically asked you to come get a manicure with me yesterday, and what did you say? That you were too--" Juliette was cut off of her mini-rant by Charlotte, who was already rolling her eyes as she finished the sentence with, "Too busy, right, right." She looked pointedly at Juliette as she continued, her voice laced with annoyance. "Well, I also didn't know that Audrey was going to act like my nails being painted black was equivalent to committing a war crime."

"She just wanted you to look nice, and not goth," Juliette objected, her voice softer now, as if Charlotte had personally criticized her by referencing Audrey's reaction like that. Nonetheless, she turned her attention to finishing painting the last five nails that she had neglected minutes before, when she took a break to start worrying about her own outfit. A couple of minutes passed before Juliette's precision paid off, and the nails were finished. "I am literally beyond talented and amazing for doing that for you while wearing a white dress," she praised herself, looking over the nails once more to make sure that they really were perfect, before standing up and returning to her spot by the mirror as Charlotte blew on the tips of her fingers in an attempt to get them to dry faster. "My body looks disgusting in this, but it's too late to change now," she reiterated, talking to herself more than to her sister. Again, she stepped back towards Charlotte, but only to grab the champagne glass that she had emptied minutes before. One more glance in the mirror, and she would be ready to down an entire bottle of champagne in one gulp.

"Don't get too carried away tonight, Jules," Charlotte said, a knowing smile on her face once her sister had taken the empty glass and started to leave the bathroom. "And don't you get too carried away with doing heroin or whatever it is you do with Michaela and Jazmyn and the rest of your weird friends," Juliette called out back to her, not even bothering to glance back in Charlotte's direction. The interaction was typical of the sisters, who could go from helping each other to bickering in the blink of an eye, and just as much as Charlotte didn't want Juliette to drink too much tonight, Juliette also genuinely didn't want Charlotte to spend too much time socializing with those girls. It would only reflect poorly on her, she believed, and more than anything, Juliette know that Audrey wouldn't be happy about it.

While Juliette hurried downstairs in search of more champagne, knowing that she didn't have much time to get buzzed before she had to leave, Charlotte lingered in the bathroom to give her nails an extra minute to dry. With the hand that was already dry, she texted her two best friends, who unfortunately, happened to live in the Zeta house. The text in her group chat to Michaela and Jazmyn read, "You two bitches better not clique up tonight like usual! Not here for that tn!"

Audrey Green

Location: Alpha House
Outfit: Here
Hex Code: #00cc00
Surprisingly, it only took about a half an hour after getting home from her dinner meeting with Hudson, for Audrey to get ready for the Guys in Ties & Girls in Pearls event. Her hair and makeup had already been done before dinner, so it only took a few touch ups to those, and getting dressed, for her to be ready for the night. Of course, she wasn't just done there. Once she decided that she looked flawless, she had to make sure that her girls did, as well. Audrey made her way through the two floors of bedrooms in the Alpha house, knocking on doors and inspecting outfits, throwing out compliments left and right, though they were all well deserved. To those who didn't deserve compliments, Audrey offered constructive criticism, pulling dresses out of closets, pinning back flyaway strands of hair, and handing out pearl necklaces and bracelets and earrings from her own stash. Her girls needed to look perfect, because as always, Audrey felt like any imperfection of theirs would reflect poorly on her, and anyone who knew Audrey knew that things had to be perfect. No exceptions. She had gotten through nearly all of the girls, sending many of them off in the Ubers that they had called, and insisting that they looked phenomenal. She hadn't cross paths with only a few girls, including the Arnaults, and Naomi, and she was in route to check on the latter as she sent out text messages to the former, and to Yaya, who wasn't in the house.

To: Ya Ya
Sounds good, love. I'm almost on my way. Make sure our girls behave until I get there ;)

To: Charlotte, Juliette
Charlotte, you and I are going to ride to the party together. We need to talk about some things. Jules, I told Kim and Gemma to wait for you, or you can ride with Naomi. I don't think Abby has left either.

Audrey didn't mention that Charlotte would be riding with her and Weston and Hudson, but that was unimportant right now. Right now, what Audrey was focusing on was knocking on Naomi's bedroom door. After she checked on her best friend, she would deal with Charlotte and Weston and seeing how that played out. She reminded herself that there was no need to worry about it anyway, because she would get her way. She always did, and with Hudson likely already prepping Weston for what was going to happen at this very moment, Audrey was sure that things would go just as they planned. "Omi, open up! Show me what my competition for tonight looks like! And if you're Uber is on the way, make sure there's an extra seat for my beautiful Little. I'm going to borrow yours for a few minutes, so we'll swap," she said playfully through the girl's closed bedroom door.

____________________________________________
{With dialogue added in by Miserable}
____________________________________________
Juliette was in the kitchen, having poured herself another glass of champagne, when she got the text that Audrey had sent to both her and Charlotte. The message had made her frown, only because she was annoyed that Audrey wanted to socialize with Charlotte more than her. Putting the attention-needy side of her to rest, she knew that Charlotte was probably in trouble, given that her only interactions with Audrey tended to focus around Audrey lecturing Charlotte for being a bad Alpha, but Juliette still wanted to frown over the idea of her Big wanting to spend time with anyone other than her. Charlotte was just as displeased with the text message as Juliette was, groaning audibly after reading it. She was in the process of leaving the bathroom now, having decided that her outfit was as good as it was going to get, and being satisfied with her nails being almost completely dry by then. Charlotte was already over the theme of tonight's party, but she had been counting on it being bearable if she could spend the night with her real friends, and not the Alphas. Being ordered to spend the commute to the party with Audrey was a pretty good sign that she wasn't going to get her way on that, and that the night would be more miserable than she expected. After sending a text back to Michaela and Jazmyn, explaining that she had to ride with Audrey, Charlotte headed downstairs, finding Juliette already lingering by the door.

"Why does she want to talk to you?" Juliette asked, arms crossed over her chest with her face sporting what seemed to be her signature look of anger and offense. "Don't tell me that you had Michaela and Jazmyn over again today." Juliette could not comprehend why Charlotte insisted on doing the exact opposite of what Audrey told her to do. In her opinion, it was clearly Charlotte who was the one out of the two of them who constantly needed the attention to be focused on her. That was why she was always purposely acting out, Juliette believed.

"I was going to ask you if you knew," Charlotte said, throwing in a nonchalant shrug. Aside from the nail polish incident, Charlotte felt like she had done well this week at adhering to all of Audery's unnecessary and annoying demands and standards. She had been busy with two school papers, so that was part of it, but for the most part, outside of class, she had remained in the Alpha house (alone), or in the campus library. She had barely seen her friends since last weekend, so she didn't know what Audrey could need her for. She assumed, however, that it was just going to be a car ride full of discussions about how she needed to use this party as a chance to redeem herself, and how she was forbidden from even looking in the Zetas' direction, or something.

"She didn't mention anything to me," Juliette acknowledged, before quickly continuing with, "But can you please be normal tonight? I don't want Audrey to be in a bad mood, and some of mom's friends are going to be here. You know they'll tell her if they see you don't anything weird with your friends."

Charlotte wanted to object, or at least tell her sister that unlike her, she had enough of a brain to know that she was allowed to interact with people from other houses, regardless of social stigmas, but before she could, Audrey came downstairs. As much as Charlotte disliked Audrey at times, there was no denying that she was everything than an Alpha president should be. She was beautiful and graceful, she knew how to demand respect and get her way, and she was intelligent and influential. Charlotte didn't like her being her President, but she could give credit where credit was due, and in part because she felt like Juliette's stare was going to burn a hole in the side of her face if she was anything but respectful, Charlotte smiled at the redhead. "You look pretty, Audrey."

"She looks more than pretty! Oh my god, that dress looks even better in real life than it did in the picture you sent me."

"Thank you, my loves," Audrey smiled, relishing in the praise for a moment, before nodding approvingly at the two girls, too. She had seen both outfits before they had been put on the girls, but the Arnault genes never failed to make anything look flawless. That was one more reason for why it was all the more frustrating that Charlotte didn't take advantage of it on nights that weren't like tonight, where she was forced to dress nicely. "You two look perfect as well," she complimented, with her eyes flashing towards Charlotte's hands to make sure that the girl had rid herself of the chipped black nail polish that she had originally planned on wearing tonight. With confirmation that it had been replaced, her smile returned, and she opened up the front door. "Jules, Naomi should be down in a minute. We'll see you there," she said, waiting for Charlotte to follow her out. Charlotte did follow, but only after sending a quick text to Naomi that read, "Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?" While Charlotte knew that Naomi was best friends with Audrey, she was close enough with her own Big to confide in her about how she sometimes felt like Audrey unnecessarily targeted her. Additionally, given Naomi's closeness to Audrey, Omi was usually helpful in giving Charlotte a heads up right before Audrey was going to snap on her about something.

The limo was already waiting for them, so Audrey headed towards it, smiling at Abby as she passed and saying, "Abby, Naomi and Juliette are about to leave if you need a ride." Normally, she would have been welcoming for any of her Alphas to ride with her, but she needed some alone time with Charlotte, Hudson and Weston tonight, and once the pair were in the limo with the boys, and the driver pulled off, she knew that she had that.

NAOMI SATO

———————————————————————
"My, oh, my, don't you look stunning?" Naomi should have known better than to be so easily flattered, but she was easily won over by compliments, and she knew she looked good. It was a sleek look, and she looked almost feline with her subtly winged eyes and slender frame. Still, even if she looked absolutely horrendous, Naomi was well aware that she could trust Audrey's compliments. The Alpha president had a penchant for brutal honesty- if Naomi looked bad, Audrey would certainly tell her so.

With a flirtatious smile, she pointedly looked the redhead up and down, commenting in a faux blase tone, "Not so bad, yourself."

She was making a severe understatement, of course. Audrey looked gorgeous. Audrey always looked gorgeous. The girl simply wouldn't settle for anything less.

"For important, top-secret Alpha Theta Pi presidential duties, of course!" A little red flag immediately went up, and Naomi raised her brows in a touch of exasperation. Yes, Naomi knew that Charlotte was... different, and she knew that Audrey loathed when the certain expectations of an alpha weren't met by said alphas, but...

Well, that was just it. Charlotte simply didn't fit, and what's more, the girl had no desire to. Sure, she did try to appease Audrey's demands, but she never changed herself. As far as Naomi could tell, Charlotte's priority was Charlotte, and the Little was not about to throw away who she was in order to conform to some admittedly twisted set of standards.

Naomi actually admired that about her, not that she would ever tell Audrey that.

"Nothing bad. Nothing you need to worry about. I just need to give our little black sheep of the family a little bit of TLC. You can have her back as soon as you get there."

Naomi knew the game by now. Audrey wasn't letting her get a word in edge ways, which suggested that Audrey was up to something of arguable moral standing. As the redhead spun around and headed down stairs, Naomi could only sigh in mild frustration.

"Kuso..."

Her phone buzzed again, and she chuckled at Yuda's message.

From; Yuda
Omg, shut up! It'll be useless looking nice just for you because I'm pretty sure you'll be going home with someone else xoxo

To; Yuda
jealous are we? ;) See you soon xx

Her phone buzzed again, twice, and she opted to read her little's text first.

From; Charlittle
Why am I being forced to ride alone with Audrey? Is my body going to be found in a shallow ditch miles away in a few days?

For a second, she felt a twinge of guilt. She's tough. She can handle whatever crazy scheme Audrey's got cooked up I'm sure.

To; Charlittle
I'm as lost as you are... if you die, I'll avenge you tho, so don't worry xx

Reading Archie's text, she only scoffed, and stuffed the phone into her purse with a roll of her eyes. "Moron..." She betrayed a smile before taking a final look in the mirror and heading downstairs. Smiling at Abby and Juliette, she nodded towards the uber waiting outside.

"Coming?"

She sat on the porch and watched as most of the girls were already leaving to the event. She complimented a few of them as they left but the others she just nodded her head of approval. Abigail's phone chimed and it was a text from Daisy, who stated that she was riding with Amaris and Nicholas. She didn't bother to text her back as her phone chimed again and she looked at it as it was Archie sending her a text. She read it and started to type a reply.

To: Archie :D
Okay. I'll be sure to do that.

She sent the text then looked up at Juliette and Naomi as they came outside just as an uber driver pulled up. Her phone chimed again as Yuda name scrolled across the screen. She went to type a message but looked up again as Naomi asked if her and Juliette were coming. Abigail nodded her head and muttered. "Yeah." Was all she said as she got up and started to type a reply to Yuda whenever she got into the uber.

To: Yuda
I'll try not to. See you there though!

Abigail eyed Juliette and Naomi as she smiled towards them. "You ladies look absolutely stunning." She complimented them as she looked down at her phone and saw Ben's name come across her screen. A soft smile came across her face and she started to type a reply towards him.

To: Ben ♥
Awe, you're so sweet. And yes, a drink would be nice. Everything okay?
I am almost there, riding in an uber with Juliette and Naomi.

She sent the message then turned her head to look out of the window as they drove towards the event. She was excited to get there to have a drink with Ben and to dance with him but she was mostly excited to see everyone and just mingle. Abigail let out a small groan as she eyed Juliette and Naomi again. "Are we there yet?" She sat back in her seat in a kind of impatient manner before she saw the building within the distance. It caused her face to gleam with a certain happiness as she let out a light squeal.

"Audrey wanted to ride with Charlotte. She said she had to talk to her about some things," Juliette said to Naomi. She knew that Naomi likely already knew all of this, but it was her attempt at discretely trying to see if Naomi knew anything that Juliette didn't, that she would then add to the conversation. One of Juliette's defining traits was that she was pretty emotionally transparent. When things were bothering her, it was usually obvious in her demeanor. Knowing that Audrey probably only wanted to talk to Charlotte to yell at her about something was comforting, at least, considering that the only reason for why Juliette was really bothered by the situation, was because she was easily jealous. Even if she liked Naomi and Abigail all the same, just knowing that she was being excluded from Audrey's car made her feel like riding with her two other Alpha friends was a lesser option. Surprisingly, Juliette did her best once they were in the car, to not be such a downer. She felt like the night had potential to be fun, and as long as her buzz remained active, it would at least be bearable.

"Oooh, who are you texting?" Juliette grinned teasingly, when she noticed the smile that appeared on Abigail's face as she read a text. Juliette and Abby weren't best friends or anything, but given that they had rushed together, she definitely felt close to Abby. Really, though, Juliette felt that way about most of the Alphas. While some of them probably found her energetic tendencies, and flightiness to be overwhelming sometimes, there was no denying that Juliette really loved the Alpha house and all of its members. "She's in a hurry to get there because she's totally meeting up with someone. I can tell by that look on your face," Juliette giggled, looking from Naomi and then back to Abby as she spoke. "Who is he, Abby? You have to tell us, we're your sisters!" she pressed playfully, though she was genuinely curious about whoever it was that seemed to have Abby eager to get there. For all Juliette knew, it could have just been Ayala or another Alpha, but jumping to the conclusion that it was a boy, particularly a crush, was more entertaining. She loved drama, especially good and positive drama that wasn't going to end in the dissolution of friendships, so something like this wasn't out of character for Juliette to be intrigued over.

"Audrey wanted to ride with Charlotte. She said she had to talk to her about some things," Naomi nodded in acknowledgement before shooting the young Alpha a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry about those two- we both know that you're Audrey's favourite."

At Abby's compliment, she grinned slyly. "Well, of course. We're alphas, remember?... And you look gorgeous, as per usual."

As they got into the uber, Naomi's phone went again, and once she was seated, she grabbed her phone to reply.

From; Yuda
In your dreams sweetie, see you at the party and ALWAYS check the drink if someone offers you one.

Geez, and now my paranoia-meter is going to be on high all night. Cheers, Yuda.
She smiled ruefully as she slipped the phone back into her purse, only now noting the conversation going on around her.

"She's in a hurry to get there because she's totally meeting up with someone. I can tell by that look on your face."

"Oh?" Naomi's brow rose slightly, and a spark of mischievous curiosity glimmered in her eyes.

"Who is he, Abby? You have to tell us, we're your sisters!"

Naomi nodded sagely at Juliette's statement.

"Yep. Alpha rules."

Naomi was all too aware of the irony of her demanding -even jokingly- that someone else release the details about their love life. Her own was the dictionary definition of "it's complicated", and she hadn't exactly been open to her sisters with any info. But this was different. Sort of. Not really.

Abigail eyes widened whenever Juliette had asked her who was she texting. She wasn't really going to tell her but then brought up that they were all sisters and that meant something in the Alpha household. A gulp came over her as she continuously eyed Juliette and Naomi even a nervous chuckle could be heard, as well. Abigail bit her bottom lip as she tried to beat around the bush instead of answering her questions. "Uhm, what?" She responded then started to shake her head and waved her hand. "It's no one, honestly." Abigail said as Naomi interjected into the conversation, too.

Abigail swallowed hard again as she let out a sigh with an eye roll. She knew that she wasn't going to get out of not telling them anything so she might as well just tell them now. "Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." She eyed them both and pointed a direct index finger at them. She then proceeded to talk. "Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly." She opened up to them about who she's been texting and smiling along the ride. "Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless." She asked but was honestly scared and nervous of their responses but she knew that they were going to tell her how it is and she wouldn't want it any other way. "Now, if we're done here, I'd like to go inside, please."

Juliette had not been expecting Abigail to reveal that she was texting Ben. That in itself was surprising, simply because it seemed random, but what made it shocking was that everyone knew that Ben and Ya Ya had dated. Ya Ya was Abigail's Big, and of all people, going after your Big's ex seemed like a bad idea. Juliette wanted to pry further, and ask if Ya Ya knew that they had been flirting previously, and back again now, and if so, was she okay with it? She wanted to ask why Abigail even wanted to cross into that territory, given how she was sure everyone would think the same thing that Juliette was thinking, about how it was a bad idea, when they found out. It wasn't like Ben was that amazing, as far as Juliette knew, to warrant sabotaging a friendship over. Then again, she barely knew him, but regardless, it didn't seem smart. More than that, it didn't seem like something that Abby would normally do, which made the situation all the more noteworthy, because it suggested that maybe Abby wanted something real to come out of this situation. It was noteworthy, yes, but that didn't mean that Juliette thought that it was a good idea, and Abby calling it harmless automatically had Juliette raising an eyebrow in skepticism.

"I'm not an expert on relationships, but... that definitely doesn't sound harmless," Juliette admitted. She didn't want to worry Abby or make it seem like she was putting her down for her choices, but it was hard for Juliette not to be honest. As she hated stated, she wasn't an expert on romance. Actually, she was far from it. Given her own insecurities, she had never been the type to allow herself to trust and commit to anyone. For most of her life, even basic flirting had left her feeling uncomfortable because any sort of physical attention forced her to act extremely self-critical. However, Juliette did know a thing or do about friendships, and this just didn't seem like something that was going to end well. It seemed like the right thing to do to at least warn Abby that maybe it was a subject that deserved a little bit more thought. At the same time, Juliette didn't necessarily care that much, and she was close enough with Abby to agree that she wouldn't mention anything. She knew Abby was smart, and she also knew that she knew Ya Ya better than her, so if Abby thought it wasn't a big deal, Juliette wanted to trust that it wouldn't be a big deal, too. "I won't say a word, though. I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead," she said, already slipping out of the car to allow the girls to do the same. Once Naomi was out, Juliette clasped her hand, signaling that she wasn't going to shake her that easily, just because they had gotten to the event. "So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!" Really, she had little evidence to base that on. Calling Nick a friend was a stretch in itself for Juliette. Anyone who was kind to her usually received the title, but in reality, Nick was just a tutor to her. He humored her invasive personal questions from time to time, which was how she knew that he was friends with Naomi, but he had never said anything about liking Naomi as more than a friend... which made sense, given that he wasn't even interested in girls romantically. Even that wasn't enough to stop Juliette from somehow reaching that conclusion, and actually believing it herself, in the sake of having something to be excited about, though.

Yaya bit her lip in concern as Cyrus teased her she wasn't used to this behavior from him which told her that he was definitely not feeling comfortable. She absently leaned on him momentarily, just a innocent gesture to let him know that he had her full support. "I always miss you when you're gone Cy." She teased back for appearance sake.

Her phone vibrated loudly against the countertop of the bar and she picked it up to see a text from Cas asking her if she wanted her usual. She bit her lip and glanced at Ben across the bar before quickly typing out Yes please, please be discreet I don't want Ben to start shit with you. She knew that Ben would obviously lose it if he found out that she was taking pills from Cas. She loved him but Ben wasn't very understanding when it came to things like that and she understood with his past and all but she wasn't addicted to pills or anything she just wanted a pick me up here and there.

"So, was that you I saw kissing Benjamin earlier?" She turned her head back to Archie when she heard him mention Ben, "You going back to basics huh?" She rolled her eyes at Archie. "He is not basic, he is sweet and kind and honest. You could learn something about that. Maybe get in a relationship instead of having a different girl in your bed every night." She said it in a teasing manner but the truth was that it kind of got under her skin when people said that Ben was boring.

Yaya always wanted stability because she never really got it growing up, not until she moved in with her Dad. Her grandma tried to give her stability but if there's one thing her grandmother lacked: stability. Whether she was jetting off with a new lover to Barcelona or Paris, or she was surprising Yaya with a day trip to Manhattan for some shopping, or she was hosting some lavish party on a fucking Tuesday night. Ben was stable and she loved that about him. They had a routine and shared plans and goals. She met his family and he met hers, they had dinner at her Dad's house every Wednesday. Even her sorority sisters would joke about how her and Ben were basically already married. She could see herself marrying him and moving into a pretty house not too far from both of their parents maybe having kids, you know the American dream. It scared the shit out of her. Part of her wondered if she allowed the attention of other guys to spice things up or if deep down she was testing him. She knew his friends thought that for sure.

She glanced around for her fellow Alphas when she briefly thought that she hadn't seen many of them around yet so she sent out a group text to Audrey, Abigail, Juliette, Charlotte, and Naomi that states Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

"Okay. I'll tell you guys but it must be kept on the down low." The mischievous spark was still there, and Naomi leaned in furtively, only for her smile to freeze on her face.

"Well, before Ben and Ya Ya got together, Ben liked me but I shot him down, obviously. So, now that him and Ya Ya are on a break, we've been talking how we were before. It's been amazing, honestly. Promise me that you guys won't say anything. Especially to Ya Ya. What I am doing isn't wrong, is it? It's completely harmless."

Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck.

Naomi's inner monologue had turned especially expletive, and for good reason. How? How could Abby not think this is a horrible situation?

It had always been a rule, hadn't it? A cardinal part of both the girl and the guy code. Don't mess around with your friend's ex.

It was bad enough that they were Alpha sisters, but Yaya was Abby's Big! Somehow, that made the entire situation feel even worse.

It was none of her business, of course. And Naomi knew that. She shouldn't have pried in the first place, and now she wished she hadn't. She would have felt so much better if she'd remained blissfully ignorant of the entire scandalous affair.

Hey- let's not freak out, okay? Yaya is sex on a fucking stick. She's probably totally over Ben and out scoping the party for someone new and she's bound to be able to find someone, let's be real so-

Try as she might to persuade herself that it would all be alright, the sinking feeling in her gut assured her otherwise. Yaya was one of her best friends- what was she supposed to do? Lie? Feign ignorance? Tell her?

But she couldn't screw over Abby, either!

See? This is why I hate relationships. No good comes out of this shit. Ever.

This entire train of thought occurred in only a couple of seconds, before being interrupted by Juliette in a bid to change the mood.

"I'll focus my attention on finding Naomi her match made in heaven, instead." Naomi followed Juliette out of the car, rolling her eyes at the comment as the younger Alpha moved to clasp her hand.

"So, you're friends with Nick, right? The smart boy? Well, I'm friends with him too, and I totally thinks he likes you as more than just a friend!"

Naomi couldn't help it, she laughed. "Yeah... no. Something tells me I'm not really his type."

As they walked into the party, Naomi paused in the entrance, and looked around admiringly. The GiTGwP party seemed to get prettier every year, and this was no exception. Glancing down to her phone, she opened a message from Yaya, which only helped the guilt of the prior car confession to come back full force.

From; Yaya
Hey where is everyone? I'm on drink two and nobody seems to be here

To; Yaya
Don't worry, the fun has arrived. ;) we're at the entrance, come find us

Just as she was putting her phone back, it buzzed again, and she read the new text from Archie.

From; Archie
I doubt I'm the first person to say this to you tonight - and I definitely won't be the last - but damn Omi, you look amazing.

Brows rising in slight surprise, Naomi looked through the crowd around her, searching for a particular face. When she finally found the right one, she met Archie's eyes, and grinned brightly. Pointedly looking over him, she shot him a teasing smirk that clearly said, "You don't look so bad yourself."

"Okay, no to Nick, but I'll find someone for you before the night's over," Juliette insisted adamantly. Make it easier for me - who's already on your radar? You never tell me about your love life, Omi, and now that I think about it, I'm totally offended. Tell me that you're just a secretive person and that I'm not the only person that you neglect like this. And speaking of neglect, Audrey should be here by now, right? They did leave right before us, and I totally need to find her to tell her about what Abby's doing." Juliette said that as if there wasn't a second thought in her mind about confiding in Audrey about what she had just promised Abby she would keep to herself. It didn't even register with her, at first, that she was blatantly being a bad friend to Abby, since she was thinking that she was just being a good friend to Audrey. It had nothing to do with her feeling like she owed Ya Ya anything, since when it came down to it, she probably felt more of an alliance with Abby than Ya Ya, due to rushing with her. Her loyalty to Audrey overpowered that anyway, though. A bout of sense came over her a moment later though, and she turned her head back towards Naomi as they made their way deeper into the party, to a point where the bar was within view. "Or maybe you should tell her," she suggested, as she reminded herself that she liked watching conflict occur from the outside, but not so much when she was involved. "Or I could tell her with you," she continued, then deciding that she didn't want Audrey to think that she had known about something so scandalous, and hadn't immediately confided in her.

Her conversation with Naomi, and her own thoughts, were interrupted by a hand being placed on her shoulder. She looked back, startled some, until she saw that it was a familiar face behind her. It Grant Nelson, a junior Sigma, who Juliette had oddly found herself befriending the year before. Their friendship had originally begun out of him wanted to pursue her sexually, but she had expressed little interest almost immediately, and somehow, they had managed to become platonic friends. "Jules, can I steal you for a drink?" he asked, a grin on his face as he gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze. Really only because he had mentioned 'drink', a smile appeared on her own face, before she looked back to Naomi. "I'm totally not ditching you, and will be back in like thirty seconds max, but while I'm gone, figure out what we're going to do with you know who doing that totally not harmless thing with you know who, and how one of us needs to tell you know who," she said, attempting to be discrete, but probably doing so in a matter that would make it difficult for someone who actually knew who she was talking about, to even follow.

"No personal demo necessary, my man," Jack insisted, his arms raised halfway up in a surrender motion, after Blake returned his remark with an equally smart-ass remark. He was definitely already feeling pretty intoxicated tonight, which was to be expected given the amount of alcohol he had consumed before getting here. He was normally pretty obnoxious (though all in good fun), but it was reasonable that that was only amplified at times like this, when he had alcohol coursing through his blood. "I trust that you and Amaris have perfectly compatible mediocre sex. So mediocre that you're right; this level of greatness couldn't handle wasting his time on a sad night like that." The smirk on his face signaled to how he was still only being playful, though he was definitely pushing farther on purpose, to see if he could get more of a rise out of Amaris. She had worked her way back up from her original "You're a real piece of work, Decker. Just classy", response, but he was still sure that he could knock her down a few pegs if he kept pressing. Though drunk, Jack wasn't drunk enough to be oblivious to how important events like this could be. One of the biggest perks about the Greek society was job networking with the alumni. Of course, an employer who was a Greek would feel a bond with an applicant who came from the same house as him. Events like this were picture perfect networking opportunities, and Jack would make his rounds at some point, but there was no denying that he just didn't care as much as most of his fellow presidents.

"Whoaaaaa, let's not start up with the low blows. Hating on the scruff is off limits, am I right, Blake?" Jack reacted with dramatic offense at Amaris' comment, before his smirk transformed into a more genuine smile at Cyrus' arrival. He was glad that the kid was here, and apparently in decent-enough spirits. Jack remembered that Cyrus' father was supposed to be at the party, and how much tension there was between the two men. It wasn't something that he could relate to very well, given that his family dynamics were pretty healthy, but he still felt for the boy. "Cyrus, my boy! We have enough pretty faces around, but Amaris is into the hairless faces, apparently. She's not into us dogs," he said, elbowing Blake as if to signal solidarity. "She's more into the naked mole rat looking kids, like you, bro," he continued playfully, now smirking at Cyrus. He knew enough that at least with Blake here, he probably wasn't going to get very far with Amaris tonight. It was only when he was drunk that he actually thought he could get anywhere with Amaris, given that he was happy with their friendship sober, anyway. So, when he caught one of his Sigmas, Grant, approaching the bar with Juliette Arnault in tow, he waved over to them. Grant signaled to him that he would be a minute, given that it seemed like he looked like he was about to start a conversation with some alumni who Jack probably should have been socializing with, so he waved for Juliette to join them. "This is a girl who I know will appreciate some scruff. Juliette, do you know these losers? Blake? Cyrus? Their ring leader, Madam President?" he said, gently wrapping a hand around Juliette's arm to tough her over. His friendship with the Arnault was certainly an unexpected one, and friendship probably wasn't even the right word for it. He had met Juliette last year during Rush Week, when a freshman who was trying to rush Sigma attempted to use a date rape drug on her, and bring her into a Sigma bedroom. Jack was tipped off to it just before the kid was actually able to do anything, and though Jack would have done it for any girl, since he didn't even know Juliette at the time, he took it upon himself to beat the shit out of the kid, who ended up dropping out of Fulton only a few days later. He checked up on Juliette a few days later, and continued to maintain a friendly relationship with her ever since. Though he had never slept with her, the fact that he wanted to made it all the more easier to want to keep up a friendship with someone that he normally would barely interact with.

"Where are you and Audrey?" Juliette texted Charlotte, as she walked with Grant through the party. He was a nice guy, making general conversation with her about her day, how her classes were going, and how nice she looked, and Juliette didn't mind socializing with him. He was a Sigma, but a presentable one, especially when he was all dolled up and looking formal at a party like this. Besides, she was in the mood for a drink, and she didn't want to walk around alone, so she was content with standing by his side while he socialized with some Sigma alum, who had played on the school's baseball team like Grant currently did, but only after he got her a Cosmopolitan from the bar. She had seen the text that Ya Ya had sent some of the Alphas, herself included, but she didn't think that there was any rush to get to her. She was sure Naomi and some of the other juniors and seniors would find her soon, and even if they didn't, Juliette knew just as well as everyone that Ya Ya probably wouldn't be alone for long. People tended to gravitate towards the beauty. As seen by her text to Charlotte, though, Juliette was interested in learning where Audrey was. Charlotte, she didn't care that much about, but she felt more comfortable texting her to figure out her Big's location, over texting the redhead herself and possibly seeming annoying or clingy. She was sure that Audrey was probably off talking to important people about things that Juliette would likely find boring anyway, but a part of her was still bothered and a bit curious about why Audrey had insisted that she ride with Charlotte alone.

With a drink in hand, it was hard for Juliette to be truly happy, but she was growing bored enough of having to pretend to be interested in the conversation that Grant and the older male were having, that when Jack Decker called her over, she obliged. She didn't think of Jack as being a friend in the traditional sense, because she would never text him unless she needed a favor, and she would never specifically think of him as someone that she wanted to hang out with. However, they were friendly, she did trust him, and when she did end up hanging out with him, she usually had fun. Sometimes, he was a bit too much for Juliette though. She wasn't really used to boys like Jack, who were covered in tattoos and literally willing to bruise and bloody people with their bare hands. She was used to the boys whose daily attire was close to what all of the males here were wearing. She was used to boys with manners, and filters, and who were more gentlemen than Jack could ever be. That didn't mean that she didn't like the rough and tough image that Jack possessed, but it simply was not something that she was used to, or really knew how to handle. She didn't possess the wit that her sister had, and she was sensitive enough where she struggled to appreciate sharp or crude comments, even if they were said in a joking manner. That was why her brows furrowed upon Jack grabbing a hold of her arm, even be it gently. It wasn't because he was hurting her or anything, but she was wearing white, and she automatically felt like his hands were going to be dirty enough to ruin her dress. She gently pulled her arm free of his grasp, but her expression barely faltered, as even someone who was as un-perceptive as she was, was able to tell that Jack was drunk. He was always obnoxious, and maybe she was a little less acquainted to that side since he was always pleasant to her, but still, she could tell.

His question forced Juliette to look at who she was actually about to interact with, and maybe it was a sad reflection of her values, but she automatically analyzed whether Audrey would be upset with her or not, for associating with said people. She knew who Blake was, but she didn't know him personally, so she felt indifferent towards him. She knew who Cyrus was a bit better, partly because he had always rubbed her the wrong way, and also because Charlotte had once told her that she had slept with the blonde, only, for an inexpiable reason, to make Juliette think of him as being even more deplorable. She definitely knew Amaris, considering that the girl tutored her around once a week, but it wasn't like they were friends either. "I know Amaris," she answered, sipping her drink. Her face, still mildly distorted in disapproval of Jack's state, transformed briefly into a smile as she looked to Amaris in acknowledgement, before she looked back to Jack, deciding that it wasn't necessary to acknowledge the other two boys. She genuinely didn't know Blake enough to claim that she knew him, and Cyrus wasn't important enough for her to say that she knew him, even if she did. "Are you really already drunk, though? Or will you help me find Audrey? Or Hudson, since I'm sure she's with him?" she inquired, believing, with little reason, that Jack probably wasn't good enough to know Audrey, and therefore, it might be easier to request his assistance in scouting out Hudson first.

Amaris practically snorted in derision at Jack saying that she had "mediocre sex" with Blake. It wasn't that she felt particularly defensive or insulted, but a show of continued amusement. Which was a state that wasn't hard to reach once in Jack's presence. Amaris took in his face for a half a second, noting his eyes before having to chuckle. Jack was drunk. Maybe not too drunk considering Amaris had seen him actually drunk once or twice before, but he had definitely had more than just the standard and safe pre-gaming that people liked to do before events like these. So, she fixed him with an unimpressed stare while sneering playfully, "Sugar, the only sad thing is the fact that some poor soul is gonna be wasting all of their greatness on a night with a guy who had to get halfway drunk just to charm and disappoint them into entertaining an hour with that half chub and nonexistent talent you like to brag about." She said it quietly enough so that only the three of them could hear, but the bite was present even if someone were to just glance in their direction. She rolled her eyes the second Jack started to get dramatic and tossed a somewhat apologetic glance Blake's way at having to deal with his ridiculous president before turning back to her drink to take a few more sips of it.

A few more of Jack's digs passed, resulting in another eye roll from Amaris and her pretending to check the time on her nonexistent watch on her wrist, before the idiot wrangled Juliette Arnault in their direction. Amaris had half the mind to feel sorry for the girl. Though she came willingly, from what Amaris could tell, the poor thing probably wasn't exactly prepared to deal with Jack when he was like this. It puzzled her only slightly to see that they were close enough for Juliette to not particularly look like she was displeased with practically being manhandled over to their little group, but it wasn't something Amaris had to really concern herself with. Especially once she saw the disapproval shining in the brunette's eyes. "Juliette," she acknowledged once the girl briefly smiled her way, giving one of her own and biting back the inquiry of whether or not Juliette's homework was done. Tonight wasn't a night Amaris felt like being the mother hen her Theta girls swore she was and she had to take a sip of her Cosmopolitan to remind herself of that fact. "You probably shouldn't waste your time, honey. I don't think loverboy here is going to be much use to you or really anyone tonight." And because Amaris was Amaris and she could never letting sleeping dogs lie, she added in a mock-quiet tone, "Not even his hand since that's probably the only action he'll be sober enough to get."

Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't that warning bells did not exist in Michaela's head. Oh, they were there. She had a semi-strict mother and a father who at least taught her a thing or two about street smarts. She learned the rest on her own when she started hanging out at night and getting in with crowds to this day her mother wasn't particularly fond of. The point was that warning bells and self-preservation existed. It was why Mickey spent an entire lifetime (or at least half of one considering she was only nineteen) worrying about and acting for her own pleasure. The issue was that despite the self-preservation she did have, despite the fact that she could practically hear her own voice telling her that this was a horrible idea and that she needed to back the fuck down and fuck her frustrations out with anyone else - despite the fact that she was very much aware that this was stupid and selfish and Charlotte would never do this, not unless she was hurting or upset, and this could ruin everything - Michaela really couldn't find it in her to give a single fuck.

It just so happened that she wasn't that big on self-preservation. It was a sport for losers, anyway.

It didn't help that Charlotte - rudely, might she just add because how the hell was Mickey supposed to be the mature one right now? - reached out and her fingertips grazed Mickey's bare side, heat suffusing beneath her skin followed by a strong pull of want shooting straight to her groin. Her lips parted, only barely, so that she could lick her bottom lip, but Mickey saved herself from whimpering - because really, she was the Siren here and the Siren never made pitiful noises for people, ever - by choking out a small laugh, eyes twinkling. She also didn't feel things like relief at Charlotte's smile; hope was too fragile of a thing beating against her rib cage at this point and Mickey didn't want to bother herself with mulling over what she had to be relieved for. Not having to deal with a new boy toy? Her attraction - at least that, since the other thing just could not be allowed to be called anything of importance, like at all - being returned? Michaela didn't even try to not follow the movement of Charlotte's lips as she continued speaking, posing her question and tilting her head just-so when she was done. She did, however, frown just slightly when Charlotte's hand left her skin.

There was a moment of reprieve in Charlotte glancing away for a moment and it was enough for Mickey to smirk lazily, an almost devastating mix of flirty and seductive that she remembered being told, when done during a performance, made a few choice girls on campus question what they believed to be their heterosexuality. "Hmmm...glamorous party or not," she purred, deciding to rephrase Charlotte's own statement, while letting the hand that was already touching the brunette glide down the girl's arm until Mickey was touching the bare skin of her hand. She paused for just a moment, eyeing the connection between their two hands, flicked her gaze up to Charlotte's mouth for just half a second, and then met her gaze once more on a smirk while finishing, "you don't have to worry about any competition." And then cursed whatever part of her brain that recognized how utterly honest that statement was and how much she was in over her head. Besides, if this was all she could get from Charlotte - if this happened to ruin them - then Mickey was all in and proceeded to text Jazmyn before making any further moves.

She wasn't impulsive for nothing.

To: Jaz
U might need to find another ride home. And a couch to crash. Luv u

Mickey tugged lightly at Charlotte's hand until they were practically pressed against one another and she purposefully let her lips brush against the other girl's, definitely not a kiss - not by a long shot - but just enough to feel how soft Charlotte's lips were. Just to tease. "Though, I do now have to question, Miss Arnault," she pressed, a playful glint in her eyes as she flashed a toothy grin the brunette's way, "You sure you can really handle a night with little ol' me? I don't bite...much, not unless you ask, of course."

Juliette looked curiously between Amaris and Jack, following Amaris' comment that had definitely forced Juliette to smile, even if she didn't know if she was necessarily supposed to. She only socialized with Amaris during their tutoring sessions, so it felt abnormal seeing her in a social setting. Seeing her socialize with people that Juliette wouldn't expect her to be friends with, like Jack Decker, made her even more unsure about how to interpret this... whatever this was. Jack was drunk, Juliette's speculations of that had been confirmed by Amaris, and though she knew Jack to be playful like this, she simply couldn't have pinned him as someone who could have an amusing banter with Amaris. They just seemed so different, and in the ways that Juliette knew them in, they were very different. To her, Amaris was some incredibly intelligent, very well put together, and always responsible girl, while Jack was more simple, more obnoxious, and while Juliette knew him in a more friendly way, she just couldn't imagine him and Amaris being compatible friends. She couldn't mull on that for too long, once her attention was redirected by Cyrus surprising her with his comment on how she had acted as if she didn't know him, and touching upon the relationship that he and Charlotte shared. Juliette's face expressed her displeasure, and more-so, her disgust, as she simply said, "Gross," between sips of her drinks. She didn't even look at Cyrus as she spoke, a signal to how unpleasant she found him to be. She would have been content with ignoring him, really, but he just had to go and be obnoxious. That seemed to be the Sigmas signature look tonight.

Jack was drunk, but still mentally present enough to not even be able to take himself too seriously, following Amaris and Blake's comments back in his direction. He laughed at himself some, licking his bottom lip after setting his now-empty beer bottle on the counter, as he tried to think of something good to retaliate. "Don't believe her, Jules. Amaris is trying to turn everyone against me so that she can have me all for herself. I think we can all understand where she's coming from," he said, motioning up and down with a hand at his own body, before turning to look towards Amaris directly, as he continued, "But there are better ways to get into this pair of pants than to lie to poor, little Juliette here." He sounded a little bit calmer now, though his classic grin was still present on his face, but even drunk Jack knew not to go too far. He wasn't looking to actually piss off Blake and Amaris, and now, he figured that he could pass the baton on to Cyrus. He didn't pay any mind to the scene unfolding a few feet away, and he could do that, given that none of his Sigma boys were involved in what seemed to be a fist fight in the making, but he was sure that that too, could occupy his "simple-minded" friends here, now that he was going to move on. "So, to correct Amaris, of course I'll help you find beautiful President Green. Shall we?" he asked, extending a hand to signal for her to lead the way.

"I didn't know you and Amaris were friends," Juliette commented, once she and Jack were a few feet away from the group that they had departed form. Even though she was pretty sure that Amaris was right, and that Jack would be no help to her, she didn't want to remain by those three for any longer, so if leaving with Jack meant that she could spend less time standing there, then she was fine with that. As they walked away, she was already planning on reaming Charlotte when she found her later for the "classless" friends she had, AKA Cyrus.

"I'm friends with everyone, Jules," Jack answered confidently, slipping a hand around the brunette's waist in the most casual way that his drunken self could do, as they walked away. He honestly had not seen Audrey nor Hudson all night, but that was understandable given that he had gotten here late. However, he was happy with getting a little bit of time with Juliette, especially if he was going to get to play the hero, so he didn't mention that lack of knowledge to her.

Both Cyrus' and Blake's retorts had Amaris genuonely laughing and she dropped a hand to one of Blake's forearms to steady herself herself amidst the laughter. Even Juliette's disturbed expression towards Cyrus' mild antagonizing had her snickering and Amaris' other hand rose to almost cover her mouth now that her phone sat on top of her Erving clutch which lay closely beside her martini glass, not too hide her gap though she was occasionally self-conscious about it, but in favor of trying to stifle the sound of her glee and amusement. AS much as she knew people were surprised that she, out of all of the A there's, was close to a few Sigmas, the truth was that - second only to her Kappa brother she - Amaris loved herself some Sigmas. It helped that they were typically a fun crowd and while she herself was not the hugest fan of belligerent nonsense, She also didn't see herself as that much of a stick in the mud where she couldn't enjoy herself a bit eith the teasing and the banter. It helped that the aforemebtioned along with an easy-going history was what her relationship either both Jack and Blake was comprised of.

Even if the former had a way of getting on her last nerves.

"I'm sure I'll find some way at to repent of my evil ways,"sge exclaimed dramatically gob Blake while still giggling. She opted to ignore Jack's digs at her as if he hadn't even said a word, attention mostly in Cyrus and Blake. Smirking, Amaris fed. "Then again, I cannot be held responsible rrsppnsivle little boys not being able to take what they dish out." Only when she he was done speaking did Amaris turn a smug smile Jack's way, finally grasping her Cosmopolitan once more to idly sip at it. While Amaris still thought Jack wasn't going to be any good to anyone for the night, and especially not with finding anyone unless it was the nearest bartender who was pressed enough to only care for their pay and not the fact that a person was too drunk to be getting anything else in heir bodies, she wasn't against him moving along with his craziness and foolishness. Even if that meant Juliette was going to suffer. Then again, in Amaris' head, the girl chose to come when called. If she started to get annoyed with him, Amaris had already given the warning about his drunkenness. It would be the girl's own fault. Which is why she called behind them with a nice, exuberant "Buh-bye now! Don't come back!" as the two went off in search for people amaris didn't need to concern herself with thinking about.

It wasn't on another sip of her Cosmopolitan that Amaris heard what Blake ad said about entertainment for the evening and after tossing Ginny a raised eyebrow, she turned to follow his gaze and saw the rather tense group at lest two won of her girls, from what she could see, had gotten themselves into. She muttered a curse under her breath when she saw the expressions on Ben and Danny's faces, though she made no move to interfere even though she wanted to. She didn't know what the situation was; didn't want you jump to any conclusions. Though the fact that Maddox was over there had her narrowing her eyes. Out of all of them that had gathered, even though Amaris had no idea what caused the tension, she knew for a fact that he was the main one not to be trusted. Her protective instincts definitely made her hackles rise as she wondered aloud, "What the hell are those boys getting themselves into?"

A few minutes passed, and Jack had not proven to be any help in locating Audrey. They had spotted Hudson, but unfortunately for Juliette, he was with Andre Rocha, and not her president. Juliette knew that she didn't have any real reason to need to be by Audrey's side for the duration of the night, especially since she definitely didn't want to socialize with alumni. It wasn't that Juliette couldn't be polite and well-spoken when she needed to be, but what she knew that they would discuss just always seemed boring to her. She didn't want to be asked about what internships she was looking into, or what classes she was taking, or where she saw herself after college. Audrey always knew what to say to those kinds of questions but since Juliette didn't have any answers to them, they just made her uncomfortable. She would lie and say that she was planning on interning with her father over the summer, and that she would probably work for LMVH or one of the designers that it owned after graduating. There was a possibility that those things actually would happen, but unlike her peers, Juliette didn't have anything remarkable to brag about or to offer to those conversations, so she preferred to stay out of them. A part of her became aware of how she really wasn't looking forward to that, as she and Jack roamed the venue, and coupled on how she still wasn't sure if she wanted to tell Audrey about Abigail's conflicting interest in Ben or not, it allowed her to feel less pressed on finding Audrey right away.

That was the only reason why she didn't pull Jack away, or even just walk away on her own, when they ended up heading outside by the pool, nearing two Zetas that Jack seemed to want to talk to. Juliette recognized them as Eliana Bain and Jazmyn Clarke, only knowing the former by name, but the latter in more ways than she wanted to admit. They went to the same boarding school, and Jazmyn was one of Charlotte's closest friends. What makes things weird, however, is that right before senior year of high school, she drunkenly made out with the girl at a party. After that, Juliette insisted to herself and everyone else that Jazmyn took advantage of her, and that there was no way that she would ever willingly do that, because she was definitely straight, but that encounter was what led Juliette to first begin to question her sexuality. It's still not something that she's willing to admit, but she is attracted to Jazmyn. They've hooked up multiple times, secretly, since last year, but each hookup leaves Juliette having mixed feelings because they usually begin with Juliette basically being demanded to sneak out of the Alpha house to come "keep her company", and that if she doesn't come, Jazmyn will show up at the Alpha house. Obviously, Juliette wouldn't want that, so her hands are tied, and she will do as Jazmyn wants, be it unwillingly. However, by the time that she's sneaking back to the Alpha house, she's always satisfied (in more ways than one), and it's hard to shake the smile from her face, even if she'll never be honest about who put it there.

That smile wasn't on her face as she approached Jazmyn now though, and honestly, it never really was when she saw Jazmyn around other people. It seemed necessary to her, to keep up the facade that she only knew Jazmyn as one of Charlotte's weird friends, and nothing more personal. She didn't want anyone else to know that she knew or liked Jazmyn more than that, because she wasn't even at a stage where she could admit that to herself.

"Let me introduce you to some of my friends, Juliette. They're way better than Audrey. A lot more fun," he insisted, giving her hand a squeeze. If Jack was a little bit more sober, he would have devoted more attention to following through with his promise to help Juliette find Audrey, because he did want to keep up that "hero" thing he had going with her. However, he was in a state of mind where socializing with everyone he encountered seemed like the necessary thing to do, so when he spotted Eliana and Jazmyn hanging out at a table outside by the pool, he felt compelled to go say hello. Eliana was undoubtedly one of his favorite friends at Fulton, and spotting her, especially given how flawless she looked, reminded Jack that he didn't have to put everything he had into the hope of bringing Juliette home tonight. Eliana would be just as fun, if not even more fun, and the fact that this wasn't going to be the first time he brought her home probably increased the likelihood of it actually happening too.

"Make it quick, please. I really don't want to spend the entire night talking to weirdos, and I'm starting to feel like you only know that kind of people."

"Relax, relax," he insisted. "You know I've got your back, Alpha," he insisting, in a confidently condescending manner as they neared the table. "Look who it is! My two favorite Zetas, looking absolutely impeccable," he grinned, before nodding to the brunette standing beside him. "I assume you both know the most beautiful Alpha of the bunch, Miss Juliette Arnault. She was just so insistent on stopping to say hi to you two, that I had to interrupt whatever important business you were discussing."

"That girl is always finding her way into trouble," Eliana shook her head. She had joined Jazmyn on the outdoor patio of the venue just minutes before, missing Michaela and Charlotte's escape by only a minute or two. She had read her Little's text before coming outside, and the suspicion that arose upon reading it was what triggered her to seek out Jazmyn. Eliana wasn't dumb. She knew that it was highly unlikely that Mickey was leaving a party early to go do something innocent, like finish school work or binge-watch something on Netflix. She was only going to leave a party if there was something more "interesting" do to, or in this case, as Eliana learned from Jazmyn, someone more interesting to do. When Eliana found out from Jazz that Michaela had left with Charlotte, the younger Alpha girl that Eliana saw around the Zeta house sometimes, she could only groan. Unlike Jazmyn, Eli didn't doubt that Michaela would have her way with Charlotte. Maybe it was because she didn't know the lengthy history between the three of them in detail, so she didn't have as much first hand experience as Jazmyn did, to allow her to doubt Michaela's ability to seduce their friend. Maybe, too, though, she just had a tendency to expect the most extreme possibility from her Little. Michaela wouldn't be Michaela if she was bringing some sort of shock factor to the table, after all.

Eli normally wasn't one to get completely wasted, nonetheless at events like this. She drank a lot, sure, but very rarely did she drink enough where she was stumbling or getting sick. Tonight, she could already tell that she was pushing those limits, so as she sat with Jazmyn at a table, she was trying to consume as much ice water as she could stomach. She was already three tequila shots and two mixed drinks in, in only about an hour's span, and adding anything more to the mix wasn't going to make for a pleasant morning tomorrow. Even intoxicated, she knew when to stop (even if she wished she had stopped at least one mixed drink ago), and she prayed that she could wash most of the alcohol in her out of her system by the night's end. The last thing she needed was a hangover tomorrow morning, considering that the alcohol was already giving her an unwanted side effect -- making Jack Decker look absolutely irresistible in his formal attire. It wasn't every day that she saw the Sigma President looking so posh, and having alcohol in her system didn't make it any easier for her to look away from him as he approached. "No important business being discussed here," Eli corrected Jack, a flirtatious smile on her face as she reached out to take his hand and tug him closer, so that his body was nearly touching the high-top table that she and Jazmyn sat at. "We were just talking about how my Little's apparently sharing her bed with her sister for the night," she informed, nodding to Juliette, though she felt no reason to personally acknowledge the girl. That came only from Eliana being drunk, though. Normally, while she didn't know Juliette well, it would have simply been in her nature to be friendly and polite to the girl, especially if she was apparently a friend of Jack's. "But what we really should have been talking about, was how some of you Sigmas look simply divine when you're all polished and cleaned up." Considering that it had only taken a few drinks and one look at Jack for Eliana to decide that she wanted him in her bed tonight, she couldn't really continue to reprimand the not-even-present Mickey for her actions. Tracing his fingers with her own for a moment, she stood up. "I think they were walking around with appetizers a minute ago inside. Come get some with me, and let me discuss that important business with you." She wasn't thinking about Jazmyn, or how maybe it wasn't entirely polite to leave her friend in favor of a guy, but she figured that Jazmyn would understand. If not, Eli would claim that she had to be blind to not understand why this was a necessary move to be made.
