Likes:
Synclaire enjoys many things: Praise, receiving things, boys, girls and flirting.

Dislikes:
When it comes to Synclaire she hates people that won't listen to her, believe they're better than her, and hates it when someone she likes doesn't like her back.

Fears:
She fears that she'll no longer be in charge and on day lose all her money.

Personality:
Synclaire is a nice girl, but she has a trusted sense in humor. She's the type of girl that will pretend to be your friend to get your secrets then type them up in a email and send it to everyone at school. She'd be known as the popular mean girl. All the girls want to be her and all the boys want her, and that's the way she likes it. She loves being envied by all and never wants that to change. She loves how everyone wants to be her friend, wants to know more about her, etc. Synclaire is "Queen Bee" and to her that'll never change. She's the type that takes charge in situations and never let's go of the control.

She loves getting and being the center of attention, for she's an attention seeker. She'd do anything for attention, bad or good she wants it. Synclaire's funny when it comes to getting attention, hurting people doesn't bother her when it comes to getting it. To her she runs the world and everyone else is just her pawns. She's extremely good at getting her way and tricking people into doing things for her, it's just the way she is. She'll lie and manipulate if she must, as long as she gets her way that's the only thing that matters.

Confidence is key to anything, and Synclaire believes this strongly. Her confidence is high as well as her pride, and that's how she most likely attracts people. Sometimes girls try to fight her, something she can't do, but with her high confidence other girls back down. She doesn't care what the situation is, she'll let her pride do the talking and guide the way for her. She doesn't care how wrong she is she'd never let it show, leading people to believe she's always right.

Synclaire isn't heartless and currently she thinks she's in love, but she has a funny way of showing it. When Synclaire starts getting to close to someone it frightens her and she acts out towards that person like: breaking up with them and forcing them to beg for her, flirting with other people in front of them, and being over controlling. Love makes people crazy things and Synclaire's no exception, which deep down inside it kind of makes her hate herself.

History:
Born she was to a simple life where she got everything she ever wanted. Her father was always busy and her mother she never got to meet, but instead a step-mother who had hair the color of the sun, sugar powder skin, and emerald eyes. Synclaire never saw her father much, but stayed with her step mother, Curly, which was fine for her, she very much liked the woman. Since her father was never around he would always buy her things to fell the void her left by never being around, which cause her to grow up in a world where she had no responsibilities.

Her and Curly lived in New York within a large mansion that her father bought while he worked in London, England. Their home was always peaceful, and smelled like a variety of flowers from Curly's garden. Curly did all the house work until Synclaire turned six, when Synclaire would ask why they didn't have help service Curly would always tell her: "Sometimes we have to learn to do things on our own." Growing up was good for her and everything was always good. It was her and Curly and money. Everything she wanted to have.

When she turned sixteen she stopped being homeschooled and went to a normal high school. There she automatically fell into being "Queen Bee". She was bossy and for people to do what she wants.

"Hey whore." Another student said to Synclaire one day. "Um, hello" Synclaire had replied with a warm smile. "How may I help you." The other girl gave Synclaire a snarl, "Listen here-" she had started, but Synclaire stopped her by putting a finger to her lips. "Listen here, don't raise your voice to me, and be polite, not rude to me." The girl hushed and stared startled to Synclaire.

The girl happened to be the girl Synclaire on fell in love with, her "panter". They ran away to be together, but soon things turned sour and they spilt. Synclaire never let it showed, but she was heart broken and cried for days. The girl was the only thing she could think about for years, but in the end she never did anything about getting her back because she thought the girl was over her.

Synclaire remained heart broken, but never let it stop her. She still flirted with people and soon she new it was time for her to get married, why? Because her father said so. Her father told her she will one day take over the company and she must have a husband.

She chuckled and looked over at the man who caused a little but of a scene. "So you're Suzuki." Turning in her chair to face him she smirked. She had liked the scene he caused and the way he had stood up for himself, "You're the reason most are still alive." She stated as she put a pink class of red wine to her lips and taking a small sip. "I've heard most of those things myself, but I never believed them." She was being a tad cocky, she was annoyed that he was getting attention for being himself, he was famous, but still she wanted to own the room. She could have done something to claim her attention back, which she would do later.

Turning back around she faced the front, but continued talking. "I find it odd that someone like," she paused for a few seconds to call more attention to herself,"you, would need help finding a spouse." Getting excited and turns back around to face him with wide eyes and voice growing louder to express her new mood, "You must have suitors lining up at your door waiting to marry you. I mean, you're one of the richest-" she cut herself off realizing how she was over reacting to this man, giving him to much praise he hadn't earned and would never deserve. "people in the world." She finished calmly and collected as if she had never been so caught up in the moment before.

With a small cough she flips her hair over her shoulder, showing how she felt like she was owning the room. "Now I beat you're wondering why I'm here." Synclaire figured he most likely hadn't cared, but still she wanted to talk about herself to pull more attention to herself. "I leave a lot, but people I know I don't like, but coming here I can pick one, sometimes buy as many people as I want, and they can never leave me." She bit her lower lip after finishing her last sentence, she knew it made her sound like she couldn't get anyone for herself, but that wasn't true. People that knew Synclaire didn't want her, she was rude and mean and controlling. She knew that, but she was beautiful and thought that was good enough to get someone, but she was wrong, but hand picking people was easier: you buy them and they can never leave you.

Donatello didn't even bother to make eye contact. He just sat stared straight ahead, while the girl continued rambling on about her life. But she got his attention when she asked how he never bought anyone. It was true, this was his 48th time. He took every offer, but always came home empty handed. It had never really occurred to him that he needed a spouse. It had been years since he last had sex. And he even was offered the children of upper class citizens. The need to have another person in his mansion, was never felt. Just emptiness, maybe that was it. Having a spouse would be something, but loving them would be a completely different thing. Will I ever be able to just forget Scott.

When he noticed the girl hadn't stopped talking he took a glimpse of her. She looked vaguely familiar. Probably some brat who never has to lift one of her well-polished fingers. But what really made him interested was her attitude. There was something about her that was screaming for attention. He laughed quietly. How pathetic. Many people thought they were significant. That their society had something to depend on them. He however did. What if he stayed with Scott. There would be fifteen times as many piles of corpses lying on the streets. The research of the scientists would be behind by centuries. But what did this girl do, other than look pretty for her precious daddy. Pitiful. He blew a large cloud of smoke at her face, and with a bored look asked loud enough for everyone to hear." Who are you?".

Synclaire

At his questioned she glared at him with hatred. "Everyone in this room knows of me, I'm Synclaire Amy Lewis of the Lewis house hold. I don't care how important you are, but I'm very important-" before she could finish on the stage in the very front a person began to speak.

"Hello everyone, we have the greatest bunch of people for you guess to pick from today. We have the most attractive of the bunch of Lower Class people ever." With a sigh Synclaire got comfortable in her seat to listen. "When ready you all may come check out who you want, at the end you all may bid on the person of your liking, the highest bidder gets their choice." The announcer man smiled and most people got out of their seats to check out who they might like.

Synclaire jumped out of her seat and took off running to the stage, she loved to always look first. On all the Lower Class around their necks were pieces of paper that told their names, weight, health, age, and body measurements. Synclaire only liked the best of the best and find two she was already interested in, and she finally stopped at one male. "What's your name?" The boy took a moment to reply, but when he did he told her his name was Emery and she smiled. She liked the way he looked and wrote his babe down on the people she wanted to buy.

She she was done looking she went back to the seat she had been sitting at before and wondered if Suzuki had found anyone, she had just met the man, but he seemed to have very high expectations like herself and wondered if he had met anyone that came to his own.

From where she was she looked for him, maybe she could get a sense of who he wanted, she already knew someone like her he wouldn't choose: beautiful and confident. With a sigh she gave up and relaxed. Synclaire got bored easily and waiting for him to return was boring, all she wanted was someone to talk to until she got her new spouses.

Donatello smirked. The poor thing's delusional. Thinks she's important. He looked at her with pity. "Lewis", He knew of the name. At least he knew of her father. He smiled as she scurried to the spouses like a hungry squirrel. Now Donatello may not be the kindest, but he always maintained his dignity by being sophisticated. He slowly got up from his chair and calmly walked to the stage. After the scene he caused, some people actually stepped out of his way to let him through.Cowards.

He never took the bids seriously. What he would do was first look examine them. He would stop every time he saw someone who looked interesting, then ask random questions to startle them. To most the spouses were items, little trophies to make them look good. The type of things that are best when silent. So allowing them to talk was unusual. He only saw two that were worth speaking to and all had nothing interesting to say. Then he walked to a little boy that looked about 17. He had a face not even a mother could love, and almost every facial feature of a pig. Donatello raised his eyebrows "Now how do they expect to sell you with a face like that?". The boy started to tighten his face to hold back the tears. But Donatello didn't like that, he looked at his tag and held his face up by his chin. "Well James?". He began to sniffle, which led to sobbing. Deep, deep, deep down in his heart, he knew it was cruel. "suck it up kid, not everyone's is going to try to spare your feelings". He looked over to see the other upper class stare at him uncomfortably. So he moved along and looked at the next boy's tags. "So, Emery. What do you think of what I said to little porky over there?"

That wasn't expected.

Donatello may be a genius, but he wasn't very strong. Emery helped him up, but anger was still boiling in him. Before he returned from the stage he went to Sara-lin. "If brains were made of gold, I would be far more rich" He got his cigarette and pressed it on her neck, leaving a burn. "You may know me. You may not either way. I am the reason people are still alive and breathing" His voice turned low and husky. almost as if he was whispering, " Don't assume, I enjoy that they are. You have no idea what I did to get here, and how much of a waste it is". He walked a few steps away and smiled and looked at Synclaire. He walked back to Sara-lin and whispered in her ear "Don't think you've fooled me".

When the the bidding began he sat in the chair bored. People screaming out names and numbers, it almost gave him a migraine. But he became lost in thought of what had just happened. It seemed almost like a dream, except that his stomach was still in pain. Not many people disagreed with the idea of Venus pills. Mostly because everyone was blinded by the idea of life and death. One was good, another bad. Which one was which? He smiled. Maybe they were meant to die young. He heard of the time where people lived to 100 years, not long ago. But if nature just decided to shorten the human's life-span. That would mean. I invented a cheat from death. But that wasn't as important as what Sara-lin might actually do. He looked around, a girl with that much moxie, would be a little more intelligent. The atmosphere changed completely, it felt as if something was going to pop out of nowhere.

He lost thought when the man shouted Emery's name. Donatello looked up with confusion. Something overcame him and he shouted, "3 million dollars". His eyes widened. He didn't even think about it. 3 million wasn't much to him, but why did he buy someone. What was wrong with him.

Synclaire

In the earl morn the sun was still happily sleeping behind blue sheets splattered with white here and there, the only light was from the glowing street lights, one at every block, and from the perfectly circular sphere of the moon. Its light casts ghostly shadows as clouds powdering sugar drift by, making the world below glossy in indigos and navies and a silver haze. The morning was innocent, silently almost besides the sound of leaves crunching under footstep and a thrashing of coffee moving within its warm clear round home. The coffees heat travels from it in a light stream of grey creating a false halo around Synclaire's head. In her other hand was a book and she read it word for word being sent off into a make believe world were love conquers all and evil doesn't exist. Sitting on a black metal bench she continued her simple reading.

Putting the coffee to her lips she took a sip, "Sweet." She said to herself about her mocha as there was no one else around. Sometimes she did take pleasure from momentary solitude, but in the long run she like having company and was still irritated about what had happened the day before. She had been close to buying a few young men and women until some pest of a girl messed it all. That was one thing she didn't like about the Lower Class, well one if the things, was that they thought they could do whatever they wanted, which was wrong. There were two classes for a reason: one to rule and one to listen. If she had known where that girl was she would have killed her. For Synclaire would have stayed to but someone, but all the yelling and running and confusion was to much for her and she had to leave, a head ache was not worth the people they had.

Several blocks down from his neighborhood, a man pushing a dingy food-cart tried to entice him to buy his wares. Didier declined (he was always hearing upper-class types rant on about the unspeakable dangers of "street meat") but he handed the fellow a few bills anyway. He picked up his pace afterwards, lest the man try to repay him with food.

He was hungry, but he decided he would rather wait until he returned home. Once he was sure that his parents were asleep he would have the chef cook something up for him. He was already planning the meal in his head: seared scallops, a side of fresh risotto, spinach salad, and then a small berry tart to finish up with.

Finally feeling more at ease, he began humming to a slow, rock melody that kept cycling through his mind. In the quiet solitude, his spontaneous tune carried much further than he had expected it to. He did not balk, however, and continued to confidently and cheerfully hum. He carried on this way for a short while, until he came across an auburn haired girl sitting alone at a bench. She appeared to be reading (and drinking coffee) so he immediately lowered his voice, just in case she might be studying.

He slowed his pace and tried to slyly glance at the title and author of the book that she was engulfed in.

Emery

When Doni entered the room Emery had tightened his body and sat up. When he crawled into the bed Emery turned to face the wall so his back was facing Doni as he listened to what he was saying. When he got the sorry he wanted he did want to melt, but that's how he felt with everyone because he was to forgiving, but he was more compiled to do it at this moment. "Why'd you go get drunk?" Emery questioned being able to tell it in how Doni was speaking. With a small silence he moved on talking "You're getting over him," Emery's voice was one step away from called and strong, "if you were still as in love with him as you use to be then I wouldn't have been bought, Doni. You seem to be growing away from your past and would it really be bad if I were to love you?" By the end he was exclaiming and when he turned around to face Doni. Frowning he had turned around just he had fallen asleep, but he did have a small smile from the last thing he had heard from Doni's lips.

Why do I have to be so forgiving? Emery was still mad at Doni and still hurt and didn't feel bad for what he had said because he still felt that way, but Emery would be nice to him regardless. Sighing he spun around to face Doni, He actually looks peaceful when he sleeps. Pulling off Doni's shoes and taking off his shirt he threw them into the floor not sure what to do with them, then taking the covers from under Doni's sleeping body he put them on top of him. Why is it so got in here? Emery didn't like the heat so he unbuttoned his shirt and slid off his pants, leaving him in nothing but his briefs, I'll just put them back on before he wakes up. Laying back down on the pillow watching Doni sleep, Emery yawned. Stay up! He commanded himself, but it was no use and he feel asleep next to Doni as he had watched him.

Synclaire

"Morning Runs by Robert Glua," she said without looking at the man that had seated next her as she turned to the next page of her book, for over the years she had trained herself to know when she was getting looked or glanced at. "It's about how a woman has worked for a man for years and they both start falling in love." And with that she shut her book with a loud thud and placed to down next to her. "I'm Synclaire," she said smiling and holding out her left hand, "and you look hungry." Rummaging through her light punk purse she pulled out a Honey Roast Granola bar and her coffee cup, "Don't worry I'm Upper Class too, so don't worry about catching disease or anything." She told him with a gentle laugh.

Telling difference between Upper and Lower was always so easy for her and he was clearly Upper, which made her not mind caring to share and because he was pretty hot. She liked his structure and his short face hair. This man is very good looking. Thinking to herself she scooted closer to him, "But you've probably heard of me before though, I'm a model and actress." With a smirk of pride she boosted about what she was for attention.

"I guess I'm more transparent than I thought," he said warmly. He took her hand and shook it as he sat down next her. "Pleasure to meet you Synclaire."

With a smile that crinkled the corners of his eyes, he accepted the snack that she offered him. It really didn't take any special skills in observation to know that Synclaire was upper class- her flawless skin and pricey outfit said it all for her. "No, you certainly look disease free to me. Thank you for this," he said and waggled the granola bar for a second. "I was a in a rush to get out of the house this morning." He unwrapped it halfway and took a neat bite.

He chewed and swallowed before he continued to talk. When she mentioned that she was a model and an actress it suddenly dawned on him that he recognized this girl. He pictured the pile of fashion magazines that his mother left in a basket in the main living room and it all clicked. He was fairly certain that this was the same girl on the cover of the most recent one.

"I have heard of you," he said finally. "I saw you on the cover of that ritzy fashion mag. You just finished a big movie didn't you?"

He smiled again. "Funny. The way you looked in that red dress with those white furs draped over you, I never would have guessed that you enjoy romance novels. I always figured that was for types that couldn't find it on their own."

Synclaire

She sighed then let out a playful giggle, "That's the problem. I have the personality of the way I look in my pictures: strong, flirtatious, and bitchy, but I have yet to find love. It's not like I'm in a rush for love, I'm into more of a physical relationship." Looking at him she smirked, "If I really wanted someone I'd have them." Her voice was cocky as if she were trying to be better than the person she was talking to, which she thought she was. Synclaire really did need help when it came to a true relationship. She could never hold a study boy or girlfriend because of her personality, something she wasn't planning on changing. She was bossy and controlling, things that most people don't like. And besides, she really wasn't looking for love when she went to buy Lower Class, it was just for physical.

"But yeah, loved kind of over radiated." Letting out a small giggle she rolled her eyes to the thought of it. She'd thought she had been in love before, but when things got to serious she got afraid and became a even bigger bitch running the person away. She had always gotten people to stay for her looks and body, but her personality was her biggest weakness when it came to relationships.

"Ah, hence the romance novel," he said with a lopsided smirk. "A taste of love with none of the risk."

Didier agreed with her about love being over rated, but he had no intention of telling her so. There would be no point in spilling his guts to a stranger- no matter how attractive they may be.

He'd had his close encounters with this so-called love. It didn't take him very long to realize that girls fall into it very easily when they think you are a meal ticket. Even the rich girls had fallen victim to this mentality, & he was beginning to lose hope of ever finding the real thing. Everyone seemed to be in survival mode now, willing to "love" anyone who can keep them comfortable & alive.

& he was no better. After all, that was why he remained at his parent's house.

He took another bite of the granola bar & chewed thoughtfully.

"Looking for love is looking for trouble," he said simply when he was done. He tilted his head slightly & gave her a sideways glance. "I hope you don't mind my asking, but what are you doing out here?" He asked her with great curiosity. He had never seen a rich girl ride the bus before, so he was almost positive that could not be why.

He popped the last bite of the snack into his mouth & crumpled the wrapper in his left hand.

Sara-Lin's leg started to throb like crazy. It bled, but the guards didn't notice. She tried to tell them, but she coughed instead. She start to cough up blood. The guards noticed it.
"You idiot! We're suppose to bring her alive! You didn't ask about her condition? Idiot!" He yelled. Sara-Lin's whole world went woozy. She could see a crowd, a window with two people inside.

Didier could hear shouting just a little ways down the road, so he casually & calmly turned to see what the commotion was. He could see two guards hauling a bloody, bandaged girl along the street. The two men seemed to be arguing with one another while the girl just hacked & coughed on the ground, struggling to get away.

It pained Didier to see this kind of brutal treatment of the lower-class. However, he remained stoic. He was remarkably adept at hiding his sentiments when he focused. Lower-class sympathizers were often deemed radicals, & he did not need any of that on his record if he intended to keep his place as one of the heirs to the family fortune.

He stood up as Synclaire began to respond. "I'm truly sorry, but just give me one moment." He highly doubted that she would stick around after this.

He began walking towards the guards. "Excuse me," he said with an air of upper-class authority, trying to get their attention. "Excuse me- but what crimes has this street girl committed?" He made sure to say "street girl" with as much disdain as possible.

One of the guards was going to shoo Didier off when he first saw him approaching, but his attitude quickly changed when he realized who it was. He recognized the young man from the campaign ads that the senior D'Toussaint had run in order to flaunt his 'family values.'

In the beginning of the two-minute television bit, Argent D'Toussaint had walked (addressing the audience all the while) through a quaint living room to a kitchen (neither were actually theirs). There a smiling wife & son happily prepared a family meal (as if they ever cooked meals for themselves, even then).

Didier had been the son in that scene, proudly wielding a chopping board full of diced vegetables. His siblings made their debut when Argent took the pot of food to a picnic table outside where the other D'Toussaints were seated.

The captor cleared his throat instead & straightened out his posture. "She's a dangerous radical extremist," he finally replied. "Responsible for the death of several innocent workers during their theft of a shipping truck."

"She'll be responsible for a lot more deaths when those pills don't get to their intended destination!" The second guard kicked Sara-Lin once more in the hip.

"Hey, watch it!" Didier accidentally let his facade of aloofness slip for split-second. He looked down at Sara-lin once more. He saw one of her hands weakly fumbling with a scrap of paper. He hastily added, "If she's unconscious she won't be able to name the other trash that helped her carry out her filthy crimes."

"That's what I've been tryin' to tell this knucklehead!" The first guard snarled and smacked the second guard on the back of his head.

"Well we had to make sure she was roughed up some! She's dangerous!"

Didier interrupted the two's bickering. "Here, let me help you lift her up." He bent down to lift Sara-Lin up & took the opportunity to snatch up the paper scrap as well. The first guard, still scolding the second, rushed over to help him lift her.

"Don't just stand there, you dolt! He's not going to help me carry her there the whole way, so hurry up & grab his end!" He tried to position Sara-Lin in a way that her weight was more so on him than on Didier.

The second guard grumbled but took over for Didier as he was ordered to.

Didier watched as the bizarre trio hobbled away. He wished there was more that he could do for the girl, but, given her committed crimes, there was nothing he could have done at the moment without seeming like a sympathizer. He reached into his pocket & felt the crumpled parchment he had taken from her.

Sara-Lin's ears rang. Sounds were hurting her ears, and everything was ringing. The ground appeared to be shifting in and out, making her head dizzy. She was dragged across the ground, making her knees burn. More rocks hit her face, making her face sting all over. Faces were blurs, and so was everything else. People kicked her as she walked by, and laughed at her pain. She kept hoping that someone was kind enough to read her note and do what it said. The guards yanked on her arms.

The guards eventually reached a tall, fortified building. To Sara-Lin, it was just a big blur. One of the guards kicked her.
"Wake up already!" She weakly coughed up more blood onto her shirt. They dragged her inside and threw her in a cell. "Who wants to see her?"
"Suzuki, you idiot!"
Sara-Lin curled up in her cell.

He intended to read the note later when there was no one else around. If he was caught reading a message that a radical had written that could be the end of his free train ride. He could not risk it right now, not out here in the open. He had run over to Sara-Lin with the intention of helping her, maybe even offer to purchase her to take her off of their hands, but he had never expected her crimes to be so...extreme. She had seemed so small & fragile. Alas, it would take a different strategy to help that girl.

For now he had other matters to attend to though. He took his hand out of his pocket & started heading back towards the bench, wondering if Synclaire had stuck around or not. In spite of what she had said about herself Didier found her to be quite likable. & her flawless appearance did not hurt either, of course..

Meredith could hear loud sounds from outside, but she figures she would check it out later. She had just gotten a make-over, she wore a light purple silk dress, ballet flats and her hair was up in curls. She had been pampered all day, and to be honest, she wouldn't mind looking like this more often. She looked like a true upper-class person. But if anyone found out who she really was, she was dead. She peeked out her window to see long drag marks in the ground, decked with blood.
"What the-" She muttered. Meredith went to the front door and opened it quietly. She closed it behind her. She went in the direction where it seemed to be coming from. She came to a street littered with sticks, rocks pinecones, you name it. She walked over to a man stuffing something in his pocket. She held her head up high, trying to seem more upper class like.
"Excuse me, but what happened here?" She tried to show as little concern as possible.

Before he was even halfway there, he was interrupted by a small, curly haired, upper-class girl in a purple dress. The child bore a strange resemblance to a life-size Shirley Temple doll. Looking up at him with large, round eyes, she asked, Excuse me, but what happened here?

He glanced briefly at the trail of blood that the captive had left in her wake- which must have been what the girl was inquiring about. He shook his head sadly, reluctant to recap the events to someone so young.

"They caught a violent radical," he said hesitantly. He decided to leave out any mention of murder & bloodshed, which struck him as too graphic & intense for her. "They took her to the prisons..."

He gave the child a curious look. "Where are your parents? You really shouldn't be out here alone."

She froze.
"Shit," She muttered quiet enough so he couldn't hear.
"My parents are at our house. I was just taking a small walk," She randomly searched for an excuse.
