The year is 3160 and humanity is at the top of its game. We nearly colonized all nearby planets habitable and even made some dangerous planets habitable. We were on our furthest planet we inhabited trying to contact the ever growing universe, and we got a reply back. When actual contact was made We only wish is it wasn't the demons first. They tricked us into thinking they wanted to be a peaceful trade in technology and supplies. Then our first human to demon contact was a slaughter, then the angels came after the war got very brutal. At first they helped us and all they wanted from us was to convert to there christian like beliefs, and they helped us subdue the demon leader and win the war. But then they wanted total submission. Now the demons have a new leader, the angels have declared war on the humans as well as with the demons, and humans must fight a war on two fronts against beings that are far beyond humans power in biology, but with human will and there powerful minds they survive in an epic war that spans the cosmos.

Current setting: On a refugee planet named Eden where human civilians, angels and demons who don't wan't to fight in this war go to live in relative peace. The planet is a former gas planet that was colonized by cocooning the lower atmosphere with the city itself as it floats on the high density gases. The upper atmosphere is breathable by all species after being filtered by the cities life support systems. Although currently abandoned and in disrepair the city is still aloft and somewhat operational. The refugees are making plans to repair and colonize the city from their orbital stations which are already overpopulated.

Races

Humans
Mortal beings known as Humans are the only non-magical of the three species. They however have great intelligence and intuition which is shown in their guerrilla like warfare and advanced technology. While powerful in arms and strategy, as well as their once vast numbers they have been drastically cut down to size by the ongoing war.

Angels
Majestic, powerful and the appearance of wisdom these great beings are not only strong in magic and devotion but are also deceptive in foresight. They however hold little moral value on the lives they intend to save and only see two sides to the war, their side and the enemy. Their magic is mainly focused on the concepts of healing and helping their comrades as well as dispelling the darkness of the universe. Their beliefs disregard human science as fiction and pronounce that magic is their form of explorative learning. All Angels have a telepathic link to the rest of their species as well as their "God" figure whom leads their race from afar.

Demons
Varying in appearance yet easily identifiable, Demons generally have a grotesque and dark appearance with red or black skin and horns with claws. These dark and violent beings live on war and bloodshed. Their society is based on a "Strongest lives first" basis. Rank is everything to a Demon, and the higher one is on the ladder, the more they should be feared. While demons use magic on occasion they prefer to use their natural strength and speed to fight their war against the humans. When they do use magic it is violent and chaotic in nature.

Half Breeds
Mixed breeds of humans with either a Demon or Angel have recently become more numerous as the war continues on. They share traits of both their races but lean more towards a human in appearance and skill. Half Demons can be taller and stronger than their human counterparts and usually have darker skin and violent tenancies. Half Angels are more magical and have a fairer complexion and stronger mental will, as well as stronger magical abilities than half Demons.
