Introduction
It was back in the 1400’s that dragons were first discovered to be real. Dragons have probably existed for as long as we humans have, perhaps longer, but that is something that has never really been discussed in all the talks that have ever happened between the races. The main reason for this is that the races have always been at odds, and had been in a near constant, if secret, war. The “Dragon Hunters” were first formed as the human races defense against dragons, and they had been on the frontlines for as long as the war went on. The war lasted all the way up until the 1930’s, were a different sort of war put everything on hold. After the human conflict was over, dragons and humans relationship started to improve. The war was no longer, and the job of the Dragon Hunters began to change. It became an organization that maintained the peace between dragons and humans, consisting of representatives of both races. But not everyone was happy with this peace…
Recently, the peace between the races had begun to erode. Humans and dragons are now sporadically fighting, with Dragon Hunters rushing to bring back the peace. The Hunters and the Snow Dragons are about to make an agreement to do all they must to bring back the peace. And this is where our story starts…

Ok, enough with the exposition. This is a fantasy RP (obviously), consisting of mainly humans and dragons. I will allow other races, just please run it by me first. The kinds of dragons so far are Snow Dragons (Arctic), European Dragons, Eastern Dragons, American Dragons (they have wings but no legs, kind like a combo of Euro and East. Plus they have feathers or fur instead of scales), Wyverns (Africa)(they have hind legs, but no fore legs) and Water Dragons (they live in the oceans, but not the Arctic or the ones near Antarctica. Some have wings, legs, and the whole nine-yards, but some only have wings, and some have none at all, but can still fly. They're usually deep blue. They breath water). Dragons can breath fire (or ice for snow dragons), fly, they can transform to human form, and live for a long time. Humans can use magic, weapons, and have other special abilities. You can play any side you want (i.e. a Dragon Hunter, one of the fighters between races, part of one of the Dragon kingdoms), and be aware that Dragon Hunters usually work in pairs. If you want your character to be dragon royalty, tell me. There can be as many dragon royalty as we need, but kings and queens would need to be a special effort on the part of the player, as in a very good description for them and good skills at playing. Um... I think that’s everything important. Oh, also, if you feel the game is progressing too slowly, drop a line in the OOC or PM me and I’ll get it moving again as soon as I can. PS, if you really want to make your own mythical race, talk to me about it. I don't really want elves or dwarfs or the cliche trappings of a normal high fantasy, but I wouldn't mind to many others. Just keep in mind the story revolves around the relationship between mankind and the dragon race.

Sync looked around at the people around him, and was thoroughly disgusted. "Hey, Casanova, as the highest ranking officer present, I suggest you stop flirting with everything and sight and get back to reality. In case you hadn't noticed, the king and queen just got shot. That is just a tad more important than hitting on anything in a skirt." Sync hated people who weren't serious in a serious situation. He could understand being all happy-go-lucky in normal everyday stuff, but the monarchs of one of the most powerful nations on earth just got shock, for Pete's sake. Would it kill this guy to not goof off?
Then he turned to the dragon who the idiot had been hitting on. "Look, I don't know who you are, and frankly, I don't care. If you don't want to get involved with the Dragon Hunters, I suggest you leave us alone. In case you haven't noticed, neither side that we're trying to help likes us." Just then, Sync's cellphone rang out from his pocket. He slid it out of his pocket and brought it up to his ear. Whoever it was started talking once Sync said hello, and when that was done, he closed the laptop and motioned for the Dragon Hunters nearby to follow him while a number stayed behind to help with the recovery. As he went, he told them the news. A group of rouge dragons had just destroyed a city in France. They needed to go back to access this threat.

Dante woke up to Sync barking at someone Sync was his favorite member that was higher rank than himself he saw John going at another defenceless lady "JOHN YOU MORNON STOP FLIRTING LIKE AN IDIOT!!". Dante regained his strength to wack John on the head hard. John grabed his head "Ow you didnt need to hit so hard!" Dante grabed him by the collar and shoved him to Sync "Have him do what he is needed for im going to check the area." Dante took a step and was immeditly stoped by a agonizing pain he swore at it but he quickly fixed his stance and went on walking.

Eleanora flapped her wings, slowly rising into the air. "You know sync, if you would quit trying to kill us maybe we would like you. Either way, saved your lives from those gunners, so a little appreciation would be nice." I turn and flap my wings, soaring out of sight before they can answer. I land on a rock ledge, exhausted. I fall to the ground and pass out.

Zenn sat back on his hunches and surveyed his work. The healing mist that he produced now covered the King and Queen from head to toe and the icy climate is quickly crystallizing the vapors until the two rulers were encased in a protective layer of pale blue ice. To the untrained eye they had every appearance of the dead but Zenn could see their chest moving ever so slightly.
The medics had arrived prior but they were unable to do much for the King and Queen of the Ice dragons. The only option left for Zenn was to allow the King and Queen to fall into dormancy where their body can slowly regenerate and heal themselves over time. The mist Zenn had engulfed the monarch in was formed with a part of his own essence, it will aid in the healing and it will sustain the two dragons until they are ready to wake again. For now what the King and Queen need the most are protection and secrecy. If the word got out that the King and Queen are not dead but severely injured, another attempt on their lives maybe made again. The problem is where would be the right place to safeguard the King and Queen? Definitely not in Jotunheim, not anymore, now that the enemy has already infiltrate it, if massive amount of guards were placed here then they will surely be suspicious.
A name flashed across Zenn's mind, the Eldest. The Buddhist monks of the oriental mountains. The monasteries of the remote mountain ranges forgotten by the rest of the world. It would be the last place anyone would look for two European ice dragons and the monks would never hesitate to help anyone in need. In addition the monks were all well versed in the art of healing and Zenn knew the King and Queen will be well taken care of, and if the need should ever rise Shangri-La, the stronghold of the Eastern dragons, would always be a short flight away.
However, if the "corpse" of the the King and Queen of the Ice dragons were to sudden disappear there would be much talking so after making sure once again that the two dragons are in a stable condition, Zenn let go of his dragon form and stepped outside of the palace, looking for the people that was in charge. The guards that were outside pointed Zenn to direction where a group of the Dragon Hunters was walking away. Zenn hurried after them and approached a young man with green hair in a white, black, and gold attire that stood out from everyone else. The young man was more of a boy actually but from the way all of the other Hunter were listening to his every word, Zenn guessed that he was one of the higher ups.
"Please, just a moment" Zenn called out, "are you the officer in charge here? There something I must talk to you about."

Things were just straight up crazy now. First, he had just learned that a whole city had been destroyed by rogue dragons. Then, the dragon he had been warning about getting involved with them basically called him dragon hater to his face, then flew off in a huff. Then, another dragon hunter, Dante, if he remembered correctly, had come out of nowhere and also reprimanded the obnoxious flirting guy, whose name seemed to be John. He told this John to go get Dante and go topside. Then a dragon came up to him, asking to talk. He answered back, saying, "Just a sec," before going on the radio with all the DH in the area and telling them to head above ground. Then he turned back to the dragon. "What do you need?"

Dante checked the area and came back and sat down next to john who seemed bored waiting for orders "So what happened to me? I know i was stabed by the sniper i chased but thats all i remembered. Dante felt where he was stabed no wounds were felt.
John sighed "I found you in the snow blood everywhere i jumped down and saw the blood was yours I healed the major wounds and carried you back I droped you down and talked to that very pretty dragoness then Sync ruined all my fun then you finnaly woke up and punched me and you know what happened after that." John took a big breath telling that all drained his lungs.John felt pretty good right now safing Dante they are good friends but would make the worst partners.John sat down then layed down "I love the snow."

Drezsa landed in front of the entrance to her stronghold, this time there was no dragon to receive her and the ones that joined her to the attack to Rennes, a thing that surprised Drezsa she was expecting to receive more news form the ones she left in charge, after a moment she entered the cave followed by the other dragons, the cave changed more than she expected in the hours that passed since she left. Now the cave was full of marks of scorchs and the walls were burn and it was full of piles of obsidian rocks, there was no space left to move in the cave just a little path opened to enter the tunnel. The tunnel leaded to an open space, the space was as big as the first cave, just that this one had a big hole in front of it were two dragons sitting full of impatience Drezsa recognized them at first sight, they were the two brothers.
"Ah master! Welcome back" "Master, I welcome you" Drezsa looked the brothers coldly, but it was to hide her surprise of how different they were, for starters they were a female and a male, while the female was easygoing the male was more serious, both lacked the cruelty that Drezsa had but she didn´t care for that, she was please watching how the building of the stronghold ws going showing how loyal and obedient could they be. "Were are the rest?" The young male dragon pointed with his head to the hole "Underground master, just wait to see what we found down there" Drezsa nodded and turn to the young dragons that followed her to the attack "Go down and rest, you deserve it". The old dragon hide a smile, the younglings will probably just talk about the attack and how Drezsa looked in it, for sure the loyalty in the group would increase.
Drezsa waited until they enter the hole and continue talking "You three have served me well, from now on you three will be my lituenants, don´t think of yourselves I´m choosing you from your loyalty ...." Drezsa looked to the young dragons and then turned to the old one "and your experience, but beware first one that thinks that can defeat is dead! Now give me your names unless you want to be call "you" from now on." The old dragon bow his head a little "Lovanstress under your services Herald" Drezsa nodded slowly then she looked to the young dragons, the female could pass for a dog, if it wasn´t for the size, she was almost jumping of excitement with a quick moment she bow her long neck until her head touched the floor "Meya! My name is Meya master!" The brother in the other hand raised his neck and head the most he could with pride, but lowering his sight "Zhey master, at your service". Drezsa nodded to them and then walk to the hole, she couldn´t see it´s bottom, after a moment Drezsa went down grabbing to the walls using her claws after other 15 minutes of going down she reached a new space, it was gigantic probably there was space for thousands of dragons, the space was full of pools of lava and fire, and a igantic lake of lava around it was the group resting, some sitting others sleeping and a big group hearing to the excited younglings.
"I see the mountain was really a volcano... even better" Drezsa turned to her new lituenants "We will have a lot of work from now on, start bringing all the obsidian rocks here."

Rachel stood up as her radio went off, instructing the Hunters to go back above ground. She took a deep breath and tested her leg standing up. It seemed relatively fine as she walked out of the palace towards the cave entrance. Had they taken out all of the insurgents? It must be if they were being ordered up. What was this? There must not have been too many of them if the hunters could push them back so quickly, so what was the goal of this attack? They wanted to assasinate the dragon kings and queens.
She thought back to the first shot and the snow king just being saved. THAT was their goal. That first shot would look like a Hunter made it and make negotiations impossible forever with the dragons.
But it still looked bad for the Hunters becasue even in this situation, they could not make security watertight. It would probably make any other treaty very hard to make becasue the Dragons would think that it would be as unsafe as this one.
So did they actually win? That would be determine later.
As she exited into the falling snow she looked around at the Dragon Hunters. Most seemed shellshocked at this, they must be as shocked as she was. She glanced around, looking for somebody to get information from. Somebody might know something of what happened.

There were sure a lot less than had gone down their in the first place, and considering that this group included the reinforcements were now included in the group. The forces of DH had really been hurt by the sneak attack of this mysterious group. They must have been one of the numerous anti-dragon groups, but they had no way of telling which one it was. Sync looked around at the serene scene around him, so different from the hell that had happened below. The worst of it all had been that poor Ami had seen her parents gunned down before her. That dragon down had never given him an answer, but as he seemed to be the one in charge of taking care of the king and Sync had told him to do whatever he needed. As he thought, the sound of Chinook helicopters coming in broke the silence and tranquility that had just been there. It was time for the Hunters to leave.

Rachel looked around as the helis came over to pick them up. so soon? what was going on? Normally they would stay much longer to ensure that the entire royalties were alright. What would promote such a quick return to the carriers. Unless these helis were bound to carry the dragon royalty for their own safety. That would be a plausible explanation. But all in all, she didnt know enough. What should she do?
She continued to glance around the empty area and soon she spotted a green head of hir matted on a boy's head. Right then she could tell who that was. Sinclair, a prodogy among the Dragon Hunters. Sync raised looked around at the Hunter who had just come over to talk with him. She was someone he didn't know personally, but he recognized the face and knew the name. He also knew that she had recently lost her partner and was due for a psych evaluation sometime soon. But, she deserved an answer. "Well, we don't know all the details yet, it would seem a group of rogue dragons have destroyed a small city in France. It is also unknown whether the timing is due to coincidence or design, but considering how perfect the timing was, one would suspect the latter. Also, not everyone is leaving. Some are staying, but honestly, with the mental sate of the prince, I'm only leaving dragons behind here. Now, get on a chopper; we need to leave." Sync climbed into the nearest Chinook, which promptly took off as it was already filled. Among the hunters, a little dragon girl hid. A girl by the name of Ami.

Drezsa sat slowly looking around her, in a few time the big space had remarkable changes, now there were rocks with form of cauldrons ver the lava pools inside them some rocks wer being melted alongside some obsidian rocks, in total there were 5 cauldrons each one with two dragons breathing fire inside them as if the heat of the lava was unsufficient, four were taking the hot rocks out of the cauldrons and placing new rocks inside them, the remaining four were hitting the hot rocks with their tales as if they were maces.
"Herald..." Lovanstress walked until he reached Drezsa stopping respectfully at some steps of distance of her "Until now we have make up 10 collars and were about to finish the first armor..." The old dragon stop and continue with a tone full of doubts "With all my respect Herald. Why are we doing this? An armor for what? Drezsa turned her sight slowly to Lovanstress making him walk backwards a few steps "A test... just a test, I´m trying to make an armor that is light but hard at the same time, an armor that could resist this... missiles as you call them" The old dragon shook his head slowly and continue choosing very carefully his words "But that would make our forces more slow... no matter how light the armors are, there is no way we could fly at top speed bearing them..." Drezsa winked slowly as if she had heard something strange "Maybe, but they are being charged with our fire.. human technology won´t be able to stop them no matter what,maybe only magic.... and that if humans´s magic has surpassed our inmunity, if they had... well the armor will react at the bearer´s death making it disappear in fire.."
Lovanstress walk closer to Drezsa pretty angered and almost showing pride "Are you playing with our brood lifes? If you are I will kill you right here..." Drezsa standed up, even if she wasn´t as high as Lovanstress she still saw pretty menacing "So? Want to see the humans using us experiments again? Want to see the humans using our bones and skins as armors and weapons? No... I´m tired of that I won´t allow a human touching one of us again, if we die we will take them with us." Lovanstress lowered his head obviously he wasn´t totally conviced with Drezsa idea although it sounded as a plan.
Drezsa use this "opening" to walk away from him heading towards the hole in the ceiling, Meya and Zhey reached her quickly waiting for their orders after a moment Lovanstress joined them "Continue what we were doing... I will be out for a while, start building in the wall a stonghold and a pass to the underground." The three dragons bowed their heads while Drezsa prepared to fly to the hole.
It was time to fly out of the base and scout the dragons that got the message to join the war against the humans.

As the helis flew towards their destination of the DH's European Headquarters, Sync soon noticed the little girl who had sneaked on board with them. To his horror, he saw that it was Ami, the princess of the Snow Dragons, not exactly someone that no one would know is missing. "Princess!" He cried out, shocked. Soldiers around him turn to get a look at the little girl they had somehow mistaken as their own. She looked sad and scared, and was almost quaking where she stood. Sync, after a hard sigh, walked up to her and took her hand. He led her gently to a bench on the helicopters side, and just sat with her, mulling over what they should do next. He already knew the first thing he had to do. He had to contact the Director.

John was on a helicopter with Dante who seemed like he was facing something within himself like he was about to do something that would get himself killed John said "Dante you ok you seem like something is bothering you?" Dante nodded "I feel weak i dont feel like my self i feel like i am fading away my strength is quickly dissapearng like my life is going away like my end is near." With a worryed face John saw how pale Dante is getting and how when he jumped on the copter he seemed out of breath John in a sadden tone said "I don't know but if anything happenes i will try my best to find a way to help you." Dante nodded he knew he was going to die so this battle he would have to fight and die in the best manner he could think of relesing his full power and killing every enemy on sight.

I am new to the site and am loving it here so far.. I noticed this RP and it intrigued me immediately..
I am a so-so RolePlayer, but I love the practice and am willing to take criticism and willing to learn from the masters.

Actually, I had never intended for them to die, but they won't be waking up until the very, very, very end. And Ami never saw them get healed, so she'll think they're dead. Also, Sonara, does your character think that the DH still attack dragons, or are you confused? DH stopped attacking dragons long ago, back in the 1930's. The skirmishes between the races that I referred to were from splinter groups. This peace treaty is the first official one. Up til now, it has been a kind of unwritten cease-fire, but the races weren't at direct upfront war. DH is now like the UN of the Dragons and Humans. There are dragons in DH, in case people thought they were all human. Just the name Dragon Hunters has stuck around because it had been called that for so long. Sorry if I didn't explain that too well.

I´m happy that I burned most of my brain in my last post not making Drezsa act all mighty somehow knowing that the kings died, since in none of the posts before said that there were cameras present, seeing how my group presence has been noticed and things will gone serious now I can only think that it was a good decision attacking a city in different country than where Rennes-le-Echarus is.

As one of them might or might not have died if I had had my way, yeah, you might just change it to partially healed or just say they're in a coma. After all, they had severe wounds that even an expert healer would have trouble with.

Chari, i had Zenn healing the Ice Dragon King and Queen, if this doesn't fit with the way you planned for the RP to move then i can always say that Zenn was only able to put them into a deep dormancy.

Don´t worry as a new member I´m fighting with this system too. Just go to this link Dragon Hunters and in the "Characters" Tab you will find what things to put. Well thay are general for any type of rp, Chari´s requirements are in the "Introduction" tab, but I´m placing them here as well.

Alrigth for the ones wondering, if someone wonders about the evil dragon´s group, I don´t plan to name all of the NPC dragons. Why? First too many to name and second making names is not one of my strongest points. So I will only name the "elite dragons", a little group of dragons that will affect the plot and will be almost all the time at Drezsa´s side, so yeah not worries from the evil dragons... for now.
