Age: 18
Weapon/Meister: Meister

Appearance:
Soul description:
powerful/big, addictive, chaotic, controlling
Personality:
Goro thinks of himself as being almighty, he is a reaper after all and quite frankly that's gone to his head. Though he doesn't scream that's he's superior (like Black Star), his attitude and posture certainly say enough. His head is always held high, often looking above a person's head rather than at their face (this is of course excluding when someone is talking to him), his shoulders are back and spine is straight, his strides are long, but not usually quick more of a stroll as if time is no matter to him. His confidence seems to go hand in hand with his flirting, though no one can really figure out why, just that the more confident he is, the more in control he is, the more flirtatious he becomes towards the ladies and vice versa, the less confidant he is the more he would just prefer to be alone and hidden from prying eyes.
He's never really had a lot of human interaction in his life except with his weapon, so social ques, mostly how to talk to people in a polite, respectful way, kind of go over his head. He also doesn't hide his temper or his desire to control others. He comes across as being less of a leader and more of a dictator. When someone does something that he didn't tell them to do his temper will flash so much so that he's sent people to the hospital before because of something as simple as this. He's kind of an emotional roller coaster, one minute he's happy, cheerful, surrounded by people who seem to love him, the next minute he's beating somebody past the point of "teaching a lesson". Though he doesn't seem bothered by this, let alone seems to notice it. And because of all this, girls have labeled him as being a "bad boy". He really isn't the nicest person to those whom he sees as being lesser than him, his weapon particularly he doesn't show any respect for and really only sees him as being a weapon who sometimes fulfills the role of a friend when prompted by Goro.
History:
Goro is the fifth son of Death and the third to come to the DWMA. He grew up loving and admiring his eldest brother, Asura, until he started to become a Kishin then fear replaced the love that Goro felt, only that love just didn't go away and still left scars on him. When Asura was starting to change, Goro had tried several times to get his older brother to see reason, but it was out of his control, out of his power. Because of this, Goro has spent his life getting stronger and above everyone else so that nothing would be out of his control again.
As part of his way of being in control, Goro left Death's house to strike out on his own, he was 15 at this time, a young boy looking for adventure, looking for a way to control his life, and looking for his own weapon. His father, with the help of Death Scythe (or Spirit), had tried to help him choose his weapon, but he refused to let someone else be the one who had picked out his weapon for him. He traveled the globe looking for his weapon, each one seeming to be less than what he wanted and be darned if he was going to choose anything less than. It was his choice, it would be his weapon, so he wasn't going to choose anything that wasn't exactly what he was looking for.
He met Hisahi San Francisco one of the many places where those who are treated and think of themselves as "freaks" go, a good place to meet someone who was a weapon. Hisashi was a scrawny little boy covered in scars. Goro first noticed him when a group of bigger men were yelling at him, calling him "street rat", "trash", "queer", "gay", etc, etc. Goro, not really the type to step into someone else's fight, just watched as this scrawny boy transformed his arm into the point of a naginata and scared off the men without having to shed a drop of blood. This attracted Goro's attention because not having to actually shed blood meant that this kid held a certain amount of control with these strange men whom were bigger than him, enough control to warrant some admiration from Goro. So the fifth son of death approached him and gave him an offer. If he was willing to be his weapon then he would never have to worry about food, shelter, drink, or bullies again. The boy agreed without hesitation. After that Goro took Hisashi home to show his father the weapon he found. His father was hesitant, not quite as much as Spirit, but enough that Goro noticed, but after examining their souls together agreed that Hisashi was a good fit. The two stayed in Death City for a couple weeks before Goro had grown bored and wanted to leave again.
The two set off, travelling around the world and collecting Kishin souls for Hisashi to become a better and stronger weapon for Goro. The two were only with each other for three years, barely talking to anyone outside. During this time the two became closer, Goro became more controlling, and both the boys starting to push the normal lines of a Meister and weapon, starting to cross over into darker things. It was after an incident that Goro had accidentally killed a human after losing his temper and both having stared at the soul for an unusually long time that they received a call from Death inviting them back to Death City. Death merely states that it's because they've been away from society too long when asked why his son is back and joining DWMA, but really Death is more concerned with this temper and need for control that seems to be getting out of Goro's control and what path that is leading the two boys down.
Extras:
A note more because he's an NPC, but no other students know the real reason as to why he's joined DWMA, they hardly know about his past except that he and Hisashi have been away from society for "too long". Goro also knows to keep all this a secret and will not, even to himself, recognize what path he is headed on.
Writing excerpt:
Goro walked, his eyes scanning the scenery just above the crowd of other students heads, Hisashi two steps behind him. The loud, consistent chatter of the crowd hardly phased Goro, but he could over hear some of what they were saying, mostly it was about him, after all the Grim Reapers had a very distinctness about them. With his other brothers it was the fact that they had black hair with some of kind white stripes; for Asura the white streaks in his hair made it look like that there were eyes, something that when Goro was younger had always been envious of, for Kid he had three white stripes on one side, much to his brother’s dismay. However, Goro was a little different, all his hair was white, as if his brothers got part of the gene and Goro got the full of it. Yes, there were other people with white hair in the world, people that weren’t elderly, but there was just something about Goro as he walked through the crowd that slightly parted for him, that you knew he was a Grim Reaper.
“What’s today going to be like, do you think?” Hisashi asked, pulling a little closer to Goro.
Without even looking at his weapon, Goro answered, “It might be interesting, to be in a crowd this time. Hear what they have to say.”
A couple of girls walked by pointing at him and blushing slightly, whispering. Goro lifted his chin a little at this and sent them a wicked smile which made them jump a little and giggle before scurrying off.
“Interesting indeed,” Goro said. He heard Hisashi chuckle behind him.
