Introduction
Terra (the earth region)
Unda (the water region)
Aer (the air region)
Ignis (the fire region)
Each one of the region's people have very small abilities to control whatever their region is dedicated too.
All the regions have always worked together to keep the balance of nature in store, but a big prophecy was spoken in the beginning of the four regions that has long been denied.
Four will rise to power. Four will never cower. Controlling elements, giving dangerous presents. Regions will burn, people will turn, all because of the four. The fifth element can save them, travel far and wide past all regions. After that, all hope may be lost, all the power in the world will be the cost.
It was that the four regions would turn on each other because they each possessed one powerful person that could corrupt the balance.
But who would strike first was not predicted. The time has come that the prophecy spoke of. The trust of each region is destroyed. Everyone is on edge, afraid to travel or use their powers. It's almost as if they don't exist anymore. But they do, and the powerful ones will never give up their abilities - it feels too good.
Four teenagers who each control an element. They were born in different places but each at the same time as the stars aligned and the moon was full. Now, 17 years later, they know who they really are and have been practicing their abilities since they were young. They have no intention of war, but each was kidnapped out of their homes a week ago and are all facing the death penalty. Before they are hung they use their powers and escape, and are now on the dangerous run away from warriors and hunters from each region. Life sucks because they have nowhere to go and no one to trust but each other. So in hope for a better future, they run together to the fifth long lost region: the region of the sun and light and peace. They are supposed to be the region that will fix everything-the bad thing is, they may not even exist.
As they run for their lives, they are trying to control their raging powers that seem to have strings attached: mood swings, memory lapses, intense aggression, etc.
Characters:
Girl [TAKEN] for Terra
Girl or boy for Unda
Girl [TAKEN] for Aer
Boy [TAKEN] for Ignis
Each of them has one companion/brother/or sister that accompanies them along the way. They, however, do not have such strong powers.
Skeleton:
Description - I do not personally care if you use anime or real actors/actresses. Just make sure they look to be around 17 years old and somewhat resemble their power. For example, an Ignis person (the fire region) may have blazing red hair, and maybe the Unda person (water region) would have blue eyes and blonde hair. You know what I mean. Physically describe them, and add a picture if you want. Don't make them perfect looking models, please. Add what region they come from here.
Personality - MAKE THEM INTERESTING. Not some cliche, overused, predictable stereotype. I hate those. Give your character flaws, as well as things they can do perfectly. I am requiring you write at least three weaknesses/flaws that they might have.
Equipment - for the most part all they have are their powers. This is where you describe their powers - what they like to do the most and what they try to avoid doing. What helps them focus and what confuses them. Also, this is a spot you can share if their power is threatening to overcome them or if they seem to have it under control.
History - It can be anything. Whether they've had a rough life growing up in the slums of their region or living it up in a palace, I don't care.
RULES
Follow all RPG main rules.
No GM.
Everything out of character - debates, discussion, etc - in OOC PLEASE.
As much action/violence as you want.
Swearing is allowed, don't go crazy with it please.
Romance is fine, but it is not the focus of this RP, so please don't make it the focus. Take anything "steamy" (inappropriate) to the PM's.
With great power comes great responsibility - if you are one of the main four and can't post a worthy paragraph or two, then that is a problem.
Use common sense please. PM/OOC if you have any questions for me.
Character reserves in OOC or PM as well.
Keep gender ratios even.

Re: Elements On The Run
@Asher - Depending on who your character ends up being (brother, friend, etc.) I can change around my character's profile
Re: Elements On The Run
I don't know about Useless but I'd be happy with that. Any preferance yourself for sister or friend?

Re: Elements On The Run
Since all the main roles are taken, I am presuming it is okay to reserve one of these? If it is possible, I shall be reserving a female Unda companion.. I am not too fussy about whether it is a sister or friend, so I suppose I shall have to ask @Anuwa and the oh so lovely GM @useless about that.. what do you think?
So, to summarize that up: Is it possible to reserve the companions, and if so, should I make the female Unda companion a sister or friend? :3
