Have you ever felt so depressed that you were suddenly numb? Ever felt so angry that you wanted to destroy everything in your path? This was the beginning of your Insona. Insona is a play on words, a mixture of Insane and Persona. Your Insona is the manifestation of your pent up feelings. Bottle up those feelings for long enough, your Insona will eventually manifest itself into a "living" being. Ever wonder why your parents told you to never bottle up your feelings? This is why.








In a small town, in the middle of North Eastern America, a surprising thing has happened. 9 (yes, count it, 9) Insonas have managed to over take their Creators. What will happen when people start missing, havoc starts wreaking, and...oh!....Romance starts to bloom? (Maybe?) Will the Creators/Insona's friends be able to handle the changes that their friends have gone though, or will they fight to have their true friend returned them?

Insona's are a manifestation of a person's personal pent up feelings and thoughts. They feed of your "Negative Energy", per say, and live their life as that feeling. Some are more powerful than others. The Insona live in each and every one of us, though most of us might not be aware. They live beside us, walking along with us in our everyday life. If you are constantly depressed on the inside, your Insona will be a very mopy person. If you have an extremely bad temper, your Insona will often be very violent and touchy, and so on.

Imagine feeling like you were invisible to most people, even to yourself. The only people you know are people who are either extremely depressed, angry, or another bad aura, but to the extreme. That is the daily life of an Insona. They are not seen, heard, or felt by their creators, or the living. They have been with their creator since birth. Insona's are only able to see other Insona's. Most Insona's are usually content with being alone, but some become friends with others, or even start relationships. It is not uncommon for two Insona, who's creators are "together" in the Mortal realm, to start a relationship.

As the Insona feeds, it will slowly become stronger. If an Insona becomes strong enough, it will be able to manifest itself into a living being, and cast their Creator to a life of living as an Insona. This is a dream of the Insona, and will often spend their whole lives dreaming of the day they might be able to do this. Mind, it is very uncommon for this to happen, though. If an Isona becomes mortal, they will often only come out at night, seeing as their appearance would often scare off others.

The Original Insona will keep their looks and race (See: Races), but live out a mortal life. There is no known way for the Creator to become Mortal again.

-Monochrome color scheme, except for one color (Be it their hair, iris, or nail color.)

Races

Vampires
The most common of the Insona's. They drink blood, the fresher the better. Their fangs are specialized to cut through skin an sinew, and suck up blood. They are unable to come out in sunlight, but are unharmed by other things like Garlic and Crosses. They are usually very agile, and can run faster than any mortal car, plane, or rocket. (Well, I dunno about the last one...)


Ghoul
Ghouls are scavengers, drinking blood, robbing graves, and munching off cadavers. They are not very fast, but are usually stronger than most humans. [url=http://isomerica.net/~mlah/narayan/chaos.gif] Brand

Lich
The most intelligent of the Races, Lichs are the only race with the ability to utilize magic. They eat like Vampires, but are able to go out in sunlight. They also have fangs almost identical to Vampires.

Banshee
Banshee are always female, and have a high pitched wail that will temporarily deafen all those who hear it. (Other than other Insona's.) They are the most beautiful of the Races, but will often become grotesque looking when feeding. They feed as Vampires do, but do not have fangs.

Names

Insona's names are usually an anagram of their Creator's name.
