Introduction
"I will protect you always for I am your Guardian. I gladly give my life to make sure your's is safe. Your pain is my worse pain, and I will do anything to prevent it. We may not like each other, but from the second I saw you, the only true purpose in my life was, and still is, to protect you no matter what."
{ ~Story Line~ }
For many of us we are told when we are younger that we all have a guardian angel that watches us from up above. But what if, those angels weren't as far away from use as our parents tell us they are. What if they look like normal humans who go to live next to us, go to school with us, and work for us; living their lives just as much a we live ours. What if those angels weren't so angelic, but something a bit more powerful. And what if a certain group of people started to hunt these guardians for the purpose of something terrible.
For a very lucky they will get to meet their Guardians, but under the cost of being hunted. These are their stories.
{ ~The Characters~ }
The Jock and Goth
These two have gone to school together since Elementary, and they have never really gotten along. They have never been in the same clique, and they try to keep their distance from each other to the best of their ability. This year is both of their senior year in high school and they have 4 out of 6 of their classes together.

is a goth girl at heart and could think of anyway else to live. Although she is very smart she doesn't like to show, however her parents forced her to take advanced classes this year. She thinks it's for the better that they stay away from each other.She is the Guardian.
He:(Taken By Shadetree76)
is the Jock. He's the star on the Track & Field Sports team, President of the Student Council, loves to give his time and helping hand to the community, and as kept a 4.0 GPA since the 1st grade. Although on the outside he shows his disgust and distrust towards the goth girl, on the inside he really wishes that he could truly get to know her better, and though he does an amazing job of hiding it, he has the largest crush on her. He is the Protected.
The Teacher and Student
It is forbidden by state law the a teacher will never be able to has any form of sexual and romantic behavior with a student. But in this case they will need to get closer in order to survive.

is her teacher. He knows the rules and very much tries to keep his distance from her, without making it look bluntly obvious. He wishes that he could get closer to her, but doesn't want to risk it, and be jailed. He wishes that he was never born with this "curse", as he calls it, for he knew that something like this would happen to him.He is the Guardian.

is the high school senior student. She's a very go lucky student, that enjoys having a good time with her friends, and is on the cheer squad. She's very smart and her favorite class is his class, oddly enough. Although she does find it weird that he is a little off to her sometimes, she really doesn't notice it, and doesn't put much thought into it at all. She is the Protected.

She's new to city and has very little money to her name. He's the son of one of the top medical companies in the world. This is the story of cat and mouse.

is new to this city and her parents are forcing her to get a job her freshman year in college which she is just starting, so that she can help pay for things like rent and so forth. She is a shy girl that gets average, but good, grades in school. The only job she could find was one for being a personal desk secretary for the CEO of a major company. Although it's not her preferred job she took it anyways, and wears a fake smile. When she meet the son she knew she was in trouble, but hides it very well. She turns down the son a lot, and is very brief and frank with him.She is the Guardian.

is the only son of the biggest medical company in the world. Due to his father's deteriorating health he is learning how to take control of the company, while still being in his late 20's. He is very much a player, and is always late to work and doesn't take is seriously. He would rather be at his house throwing a party with many beautiful chicks surrounding him. There is a rumor that goes around the office saying that he sleeps with all the female employees. He is fascinated with the new girl. He is the Protected.
The Best Friends
These two have lived next door to each other their whole lives, and have always been stuck together like glue. Many tell them that they would make a very cute couple, but they both feel like the are the siblings they never had.

is a year and a half older than her, but doesn't care about the age difference. When he was younger he knew that she was very special to him, but never knew how special. When he was older his parents told him, and it all clicked to him. He never got distant from her though for he didn't want anything bad to happen to their beautiful friendship. He is now going to a community college not far from home, and his parents are letting him still live there so that he can watch over her. He as always secretly loved her, and wanted to ask her out, but felt that she'd be better with someone who could give her more. He is the Guardian.

is a high school senior and can't wait to be a college student with her best friend. She is a very kind person, but also a very fun person. She has never known a life without her best friend and hopes she never will. Although she does secretly love him, she doesn't wish to ruin their friendship, or as she likes to say "I don't wish to lose the brother I never had."She is the Protected.
The Guider: (open)
This man use to be the former head of the Hunters, and know fights against them sand protects the Guardians and their "pairs." He made this sudden change when his only daughter was born a Guardian. He tried to keep this a secret, but soon enough the other members found out and took his daughter from him, and kicked him out. He is the one to lead the pairs to "Safe Haven." His only wish is to get his daughter back, but knows the chances are slim and therefore helps the Guardians so that they don't fall to the same fate as his daughter, something he know she would have wanted him to do.
The Hunters
The Hunters are members of the organization fittingly called the Hunters. The wish to collect the Guardians to harvest their power, and make them mindless slaves, so as to reek havoc on this world. They know that if they are their when The God shows his face, that he will grant them each one wish.
~The Leader: Open~
This man hates all other Guardians with a living, breathing, passion. While many don't know why this is they don't really question him about it. His reason for hating the Guardians is because he married his Guardian, although knowing The Laws, and watched her die in his hands, being killed be another Guardian during the power era.
~The Right Hand: Open~
She earned her way to this spot, bringing in three Guardians and showing how tough she is. Her main reason for doing this is to bring back her brother who is a Guardian.
~The Left Hand: Open~
Although he fought hard to get here, his reason for being here are much different then that of the other top members of the Hunters is different. He wishes to rule over the Guardians, and use them has his personal army. He is a warmongler.

2.) Guardians are to remain a secret from all of society.
3.) The only ones to know that they are Guardians are the Guardian's parents and their "Pair"; if they wish to tell them.
4.) The Guardian will know who their pair is from the fact that they can read their every thought and often fall madly in love with the Protected; even if seeing them from far away.
5.) A Guardian is to never show their power in public, unless it is to save their "Pair."
6.) Although the "Pair" and the Guardian can produce children with other people, they can not produce a child.
7.) The most important law of all is that once a Guardian has seen their "Pair", or found their calling or purpose in life as it's called, they must spend the rest of their life protecting their "Pair."
