"The path of a Ninja"
A Ninja's life is shrouded in darkness and death.
There are times in one's life when doubt is thrown to the wind, and the instinct to protect, to serve, and to live takes over. From a young age those with the stomach to take on a Ninja's life are trained to be killing machines. They must serve their village until the bitter end.
We have all heard the tale of Team 7, but what if the Rookie 9 never existed? How different would the world be?
What if Uchiha Sasuke hadn't been the survivor of the Uchiha massacre?
What if Haruno Sakura had fallen ill two years into her life and never became a Ninja?
What if Uzamaki Naruto had never been born?
This is one big 'what if', for the children that would have taken Team 7's roles.
This world will never be the same.
"The demon attacked."
Though the story has changed, some events stay the same.
Fourteen years ago, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konohagakure destroying anything in it's path and taking as many lives as possible, despite the Ninja's resistance, many were lost that day.
The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage, sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn.
The child, orphaned by the attack, was shunned by the villagers, who out of fear and anger, viewed her as the Nine-Tails itself. Though the Third Hokage outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails.
The children — taking their cues from their parents — inherited the same animosity towards the girl.
Not long after the attack, the Uchiha massacre took place. A single child left, however the bodies of Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke were never found.
Itachi was labeled a missing Nin - the one responsible for the massacre - and Sasuke a missing child, stolen away from his village by his mentally impaired brother.
The last fourteen years have passed peacefully, however, there are Ninja fresh out of the Academy - about to be assigned teams - and among them are the Demon Fox container and the surviving Uchiha.
With rumors that the teams are being formed differently this year, this story is bound to have an interesting twist.

I've edited my boy's jutsu some and specified his mastery of each one in more detail, so hopefully that puts his skills at a more reasonable level for a fresh genin~ I should be able to finish up the history by tomorrow, or sometime on Saturday at the latest.

Shall I assume I have received the Jonin? I am waiting for conformation before starting work on him.

All roles are reserved! The sooner you guy's finish up the sooner we can accept.
I'll be going through and accepting and what not.
However, after looking over everyone's characters, I would suggest when the roleplay first starts most of you rely on the weaker Ninjutsu for now. When we get closer to the Chunin exams we can start breaking out the big bads, but for all most of your guy's genjutsu and Ninjutsu are rather strong for Genin.
An easy solution to this is having your Jonin 'teach' you these jutsu.
Keep in mind, the characters will be split up into two groups, four and four and the two Jonin. Each group will have their own different plot line, and I will be choosing the teams once we're all done matching up skill sets and what not.
For awhile the two groups wont interact too much in the roleplay together until we get further into the story. This roleplay will be organized, and no characters will be running off doing whatever having power battles. Organized fun, okay?

ugh sorry to say, bu things have come up on my end of things so I'll have to step down here. Wish you all well on this, I may drop by in the future just to read everyone's work.

Now, I am not sure if there are any roles left, If not then good luck to you and have a great time! There aren't enough Naruto RP's and when there is they generally do not survive because of a lack of commitment or player infighting.
So, even if I can't join you I really wish you good luck and hope that you make it work out for you. Naruto RP's which workout are some of the most enjoyable I have had, don't be afraid to start out fairly "weak" as Genin because it only leaves more room for your character to grow in my experience. Even Naruto wasn't much of a Ninja when the series began, and he knew a forbidden technique.
If there are still possible roles or somebody forfeits for whatever reason then I would be willing to take that role or whatever is left.

A) I first started watching the Naruto anime during the Chunin exam arch, so I have actually followed the series for about ten years I guess. I started reading the Manga during the Pein arch and Itachi's death.
B) I live in the European time zone, I know most of you live in the States so I might not always be up when you are.I generally stay up fairly late during weekends, so I should be available then.
C) I was disappointing with Naruto during the war arch
D) After changing it from time to time, I have concluded that my favorite character(s) in the series was Pein/Nagato. Originally it was Shikamaru for the original series and Sakura at the beginning of Shipudden.
So, even if I can't join you I really wish you good luck and hope that you make it work out for you. 2. I have zero sense of direction.
3. Seriously, I wasn't joking when I said pinch me
3.5 Naruto lost its appealing edge for me during the training arc before the tournament of the chuunin exam but I still toughed out the whole series.

Hi, can I please reserve the female new jonin? Still looking for a face claim but I have a few in mind so I'm just deciding now.

Alright, after some hours I am down to two people. Karin Kurosaki; she has little gifs and pictures but I think I can manage with what I found, plus I really like her character and she seems to fit what I have in mind. The second is Izumi Nase; she also fits but looks to be older and has more gifs and pictures. I don't know! >~< Might go with Karin!
