We come from everywhere. In a predominantly Caucasian, rich kid's town in Northern New Jersey, we are the group of kids with a large mingling of ethnicities. There's people from Japan, the Koreas, and from India. From Britain, and China, Australia, and even the Middle East.
We have been classified as oddballs, and indeed, we all are. Some of us have the oddest habits. Some of us are really old for our grade, really young for our grade, transfer students, and exchange students. Most of us have been identified as being smart people. We sit in the hallways during lunch, in the main one, actually. We are always loud, bubbly, happy, supportive. We have, through each other, connections to all the clubs, all the sports, all of the elective classes. We have the theater geeks; the nerds;, the super nice, walk-all-over-me's.
We speak so many more languages just English. Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Persian, Welsh, French, German, Greek, Hebrew and Spanish, at the very least.
And also, we have our own secrets. The kinds that we either don't tell anyone, or tell to only a few people. But what happens when it all starts to get too much? What happens when everything starts getting too serious and we all reach our breaking points?
