"You want to know who i can count on Jace?" Havok asked slowly, power and sparks rippling over her skin looking water-like as she turned to face him slowly, her eyes narrowing dangerously and looking almost illuminated. She took 3 steps towards him, brought her fist back, then let it sail, connecting with his jaw. She knew he would feel that and it would make him fly and she felt a strange sort of satisfaction. She needed to show strength so she would.

"You can only count on those you can trust, isn't that how it works in this wonderfully horrible world?" Jace said, still smiling at Havok and once again leaning against the wall. "Sometimes you need to take a chance and hopes it pays off. If you still think you can't count on me after this I don't really know why I happen to be sticking around. Obviously I could have killed you already. You also know exactly what kind of things I can do with my power, even ones with a great regeration power have trouble trying to fight me." He then stopped leaning against the wall and went over to the fridge, poured a glass of milk and pulled out some cold pizza and put that onto a plate before setting it infront of the kid. "You possibly think that it is hard being the leader, yes? but who has to deal with the most pressure? the one sitting back and sending other people out to do these jobs or the one actually on the job which could quite easily turn life-threatening." Jace walked back to his spot and leant against the wall. "Maybe we should hold off on this conversation until after we send the kid back."

Julian nodded to Wolverine. "Just a little dizzy is all. Not really sure why, though-" he was cut off as he saw a guy, the one that had been sitting in the motorcycle's shadow earlier, climb out of his shadow and grab his legs.
Naturally, he tried to get away, but the guy simply punched him, knocking the wind from him. Before he could really react, the guy was pulling him into his shadow. By the time the shadow man had thrown him back out, obviously in some other place, Julian was wheezing but breathing fairly well again. Although he remained silent, Julian glared up at the blonde girl who seemed to be in charge of the situation. A few minutes later, the boy that had been driving the motorcycle showed up and got yelled at for letting him get away. That made Julian frown.
"You know, it's not really his fault. What was he supposed to do, feel me up?" he chuckled. "So don't blame him." his wings shifted slightly against his back, adjusting to be more comfortable to sit back against, but also making the white feathers more visible to those around him.
Julian wasn't really uncomfortable with being shirtless, since he was fairly used to it, but desperately wanted to stretch his wings out again, much like he had been not too long ago.
"Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to get whatever you have planned over with. I did actually plan on doing things today, you know. Skies to soar, people to scare. That sort of thing." he paused for a brief moment. "The name's Julian, by the way. Some people call me Nightmare. If you don't mind, I would like to know what to call you."
He ignored the food and beverage that was put in front of him, instead concentrating on the situation at hand. So far he had formulated several ways of getting out of the building, but he knew the shadow boy would probably come after him. He'd come up with a solution to that too, though.

"You can only count on those you can trust, isn't that how it works in this wonderfully horrible world? Sometimes you need to take a chance and hopes it pays off." Jace said. Havok couldnt help but grin.
"What are you a fucking fortune cookie?" she asked as she flicked some of her hair out of her face.
"If you still think you can't count on me after this I don't really know why I happen to be sticking around." He stated.
"Well, Jace, I dont recall saying i couldnt count on you....but lets be honest...can i?" she asked in a serious tone. She often wondered if Jace was one to be trusted...instincts said yes, but then again, she always did like the guy.
"Obviously I could have killed you already. You also know exactly what kind of things I can do with my power, even ones with a great regeration power have trouble trying to fight me." He said, now sounding like a total ass.
"Ya ya your all big and bad, got it, trembling in my boots." Havok said with a sigh.
"You possibly think that it is hard being the leader, yes? but who has to deal with the most pressure? the one sitting back and sending other people out to do these jobs or the one actually on the job which could quite easily turn life-threatening." He said. She stared at him then started to laugh.
"wow vous êtes une émeute! You and i both know i don't just sit back and give orders." Havok said still laughing. She had been on just as many missions as him and worked her tight little ass off to get to the top of this dump.
"Maybe we should hold off on this conversation until after we send the kid back." Jace said. Havok didn't dignify that with a responce.
"You know, it's not really his fault. What was he supposed to do, feel me up? So don't blame him." Her newly found 'guest' said. Dante looked at Finch and smiled for the first time.
"Okay, seems i owe you an apology Finch...Im sorry i over-reacted." She said completely sincere in every word.
"Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to get whatever you have planned over with. I did actually plan on doing things today, you know. Skies to soar, people to scare. That sort of thing. The name's Julian, by the way. Some people call me Nightmare. If you don't mind, I would like to know what to call you." Julian said.
"What a charmer. I have a lot of names, depends on who you ask...as Finch or Jace her...im Bitch. Ask the general populace, im Hell in Heels....ask My sister and im Dante....ask me...I'm Havok." Havok said smiling. She liked this guy, he had a great sense of humor.

"Well since a codename is pointless as Havok has just said about all our names, call me Jace, call me Wraith, call me 'your shadow' or almost anything really. Names come and go and can easily be thrown away by some but other hang of for the simple sake they believe it hold their identity." Jace said, he guess he ended up sounding like a fotune cookie because of how long he had been around for, he never cared what people thought of him anyway. "As for what is planned for you, Havok has already mentioned that she wanted a few answers so as long as you answer the questions then you can be dropped off back near your school I guess," He spoke to Julian while looking at the kid directly, "Though i must inquire as to why you would choose the name Nightmare if you have almost glowing, white wings. Shouldn't you have the name 'Angel'?" he knew perfectly well that there was already an Angel and mutants never seemed to use the same name.

"Lovely to meet you, Havok." Julian spoke sincerely. This girl interested him, even though she was the supposed enemy.
He listened patiently as Jace introduced himself. "I can call you anything, hmm? From what I've heard, Fortune Cookie is a very suitable name for you." he paused as the boy continued on.
He couldn't help but laugh when Jace asked why he was called Nightmare. "I didn't choose it. People started calling me it and it stuck. You see, I'm not just a pretty little bird boy." he paused, eyes unfocused.
Approximately three seconds after he paused, a huge creature seemed to appear out of thin air, glimmering into sight. Julian sat up straight remained stock still, staring straight ahead as the ginormous, grotesque monster shifted the club it held in one hand, looking very ready to attack. After only three seconds of the creature standing there looking intensely threatening, it simply vanished. Julian practically collapsed backwards onto the back pillow of the couch. He was breathing hard and his skin was slightly clammy.
"I'm a bit out of practice, I have to say. Before, I was able to keep that up for a lot longer." he pushed his white-blond hair out of his face.
He turned to look at Jace. "So, Fortune Cookie, imagine that coming at you or an endless swarm of undeniably smaller monsters. Imagine that all your weapons went right through them and that nothing you did could stop them, that they'd just keep coming. Now do you see why they named me Nightmare?"

“Jace here really knows how to talk to a woman, cant you tell?” she asked dryly.
When Jace asked about Julians nick name she watched silently as the creature appeared then disappeared.
“Talented. Very talented. Why do you choose to be with the X-men? They seek to keep the humans in charge…they let things like what happened to you, happen to other mutants….some aren’t as lucky as to have a knight in black leather come to their rescue. Her thoughts drifted back for a moment, into the days after she was discovered to be a mutant; the brutal beatings her and her twin got….She shook her head. That was the past. She was no longer helpless.
“Why not join us? We aren’t all bad you know…some of us more of a pain in the ass than others…” Havok said with a pointed look at Jace.
“I could use someone like you around…” she said with a smile, knowing he wasn’t going to take the offer.

He smiled at Havok when she comment about how he knew how to talk to a women. Funny thing was, in all his years of being alive he had still never understood women and what they thought. They could say one thing but mean something completly different. His smiled widened at the comment about being annoying. She then offered the kid a spot in the Brotherhood, he guessed the kid wouldn't take it, otherwise he probably wouldn't be in that Xavier's school. "Come on now, I'm not that bad when you get to know me," Jace said with a shrug, "But the me you know might be another me, before I said a name doesn't make the person, that is unless they want them to. The me you'd know, would it be a nice me or an evil me? nothing is certain in this uncertain world and thats what makes it fun."

As it turned out, though, not everyone felt he needed to be chewed out for his mistake. Jace actually stood up for him, and even more unbelievably, so did the boy they'd kidnapped. Blinking in surprise, Finch stared at him, trying to make sense of it. Hadn't they just abducted this guy from the Institute against his will? Why was he defending the guy who'd nearly stolen him away for his home? Most Institute students wouldn't take too kindly to that, he figured.
The shapeshifter snapped back to attention as Havok ordered him away to get some food for their guest. "Uh, r-right, got it," he replied before quickly shifting into bird form and fluttering off, wanting to get out of his current situation as quickly as possible. It wasn't until he was in the kitchen that he shifted back, leaning against the nearest wall as he tried to calm himself down. Some great and powerful member of the Brotherhood HE was. He couldn't even stand up to someone on his own team without getting scared. He could turn into a wolf of a tiger if he wanted to, something that could tear another man to bits. So why was he always so scared?
Sighing to himself, he shook it off and grabbed a water bottle and bag of chips for the mutant. Their food supply was far from extravagant, and consisted mostly of things that wouldn't expire too quickly. Finch was glad for that; he didn't like stealing any more than he had to. When he rejoined the others, he was happy to see that things had settled down, and they were actually exchanging introductions with the winged boy--Julian apparently--who it seemed was also showing off his powers a little. The blonde watched in quiet amazement at the creature that he summoned, transfixed until it faded away. It hadn't really scared him; animals didn't threaten him like people did, for obvious reasons. Smiling, he walked over hand placed the food and water next to Julian, taking a seat on the ground nearby. "Well, looks like you met the rest of the team. I'm Finch, but most people call me Shift." For a guy who'd been kidnapped, he seemed to be taking things very well. But asking him to join the Brotherhood might be pushing it. They'd just have to see what he said to that, wouldn't they?

“Shift is the ideal recruiter, and an amazing spy” Havok said her tone all business but the compliment was there. they where few and far between.
“You would be an excellent guard, hell even a good recruiter….Ill make you a deal, if you consider, just stop and think…I mean put some real thought into joining…ill let you go. Free.” Havok said as she knelt in front of Julian.
“We aren’t out to take over the world…just make it a better, safer, easier place for Mutants to live. Is that really that bad?” she asked hoping he would see her point of view.
