Sentinel

Sentinel is a world-class harvester and doomsday weapon, it is thrown out to deal with deity-like enemies and for harvesting large celestial bodies and planets.

Appearance: Each Sentinel is the form of a gigantic octopus, eight tentacles which normally unfurl from the main body are equipped with Sentinel's doomsday weapons, however, sentinel can also manifest these weapons upon any point of it's body due to it's internal structure. The outside of sentinel is actually fairly smooth, and slimy and in scale Sentinel is about the size of the state of New York, so it EASILY overshadows every other avatar that moves within it's hood, which is why at the most it is generally restricted to one per-herd if any at all. Sentinel has no eyes on it's body, so the upper head-like structure of the octopus is simply a smooth dome which then escapes into eight gnarly tentacles coupled with many suction cups on the underside at the base of each tentacle there is webbing that links one tentacle to another, which also serves as a stable base for each of the tentacles, and oddly enough looks as if it promotes swimming, however this is only half the case, in addition to swimming - like most val'gara - it travels through space exactly how an octopus would travel through the sea. The color of Sentinel is of a sickly orange.

Purpose: Sentinel are the prime meaning of gathering bio-force for sal'chazzar and without them it would be very difficult to keep their fabricated sun alive. There are a multitude of Sentinel(s) that crowd around Sal'Chazzar constantly unloading their payload of Bio-Force into the mass of the star, then once they've released to the safe point of release - so that they have just enough bio-force to function, they go back out with the accompaniment of a Herd to continue the pilgramige.

Anatomy: The Sentinel's carapace is pliable and easily punctured, but has a high rate of regeneration so that punctures almost instantaneously re-seal, though this does nothing for the hindrance of projectiles. Inside the carapace is a plasmic membrane that is highly-energized with bioforce and is extremely radioactive, the only real creatures known to travel through the plasmolyc membrane are the Defense Drones, which are completely infected with the radioactivity. Approximately a fourth of the way through Sentinel you would reach an incredibly obstinant, enhanced alloy that deflects even the fastest and strongest of alloys, this ships armor system works as such: as a projectile fires and pierces the carapace, the carapace regenerates over top of it shielding any explosive within the plasmolyc membrane, which dilutes any radioactivity and slows the projectile through some sort of inertial system that is used via a kinetic barrier, once the projectile has been slowed in accordance to the rate in which it moves it will collide with the alloy at a speed that is inadequate to pierce the metallic substance. There are five main openings in the alloy that allow defense drones to exit, where they then can swim through the plasmolyc membrane and pierce through the carapace.

The drones quarters is one of the largest circles within the Sentinel, as it houses and (via a cloning procedure) creates drones, which are then turned into defense drones. Through advanced genetic procedures the drones are spliced and reborn as replicas of their counterpart. Once gone through the drone's quarter there is the Cerebrate, which is the cortex of the Sentinel, it is where avatar Sentinel commands and where all sentience of the Sentinel resides, directly above the Cerebrate is the Crystallic chamber, which is, obviously much larger than that of any of the other Val'Garan sons. The crystallic chamber is what is recharged and what originally powers Sentinel's large scaled attacks. Below the Cerebrate is processing, which deals with any internal threats via an internal semi-organic security system, and also enables the conversion of matter into bio-force.

Looking down vertically at Sentinel you would notice that the tentacles have no connection, really to Sentinels function systems as mentioned above. At the center located with the Cerebrate and Avatar Sentinel is the Vesuvian vertix, which allows limited thought on sentinels own, at best the thought process are animalistic and instinctual on their own without the Avatar. Branching out for the Vesuvian vertix is multiple veins, which are known as Bio-Canals, the bio canals all lead to bio reactors, they are the bride that allows bio-force to flow and travel to the outer plasmolyc membrane, the bio-reactors also have multiple nerve endings that pass off them that travel into the tentacles of Sentinel, the tentacles quickly regenerate due to the bio-reactors, and it takes very minimal amount of bio-force to do so.

A small branch off of the Vesuvian vertix goes up and sits just atop the crystallic chamber, atop the crystallic chamber is a Bio-reserve, this is the backup bio-force battery for Sentinel, as a backup battery it is able to be tapped into and used if by somehow the Sentinel runs out of bio-force, it may also be used if the Sentinel is given trouble in a fight after just unloading it's payload into Sal'chazzar.

Units

Defense Drones: The defense drones start out exactly like regular drones, and via a cloning procedure are made. They have all the regular drone abilites, they start out stronger than regular humans, larger, they have wings that allows them limited flight, powerful pincers and carapace. But once the drones pass through the radioactivity of the plasmolyc membrane they become Defense Drones, they look essentially the same with the exception that they are lambent with radioactivity. Their digestive phlegm now becomes highly-radioactive corrosive acid. The spines they shoot out are extremely combustible now and their carapace has become tenfold effective. They are also capable of tapping into the raw source of bio-force, though it is a rare occasion that they actually do.

Weapons, the weapons of Sentinel are some of the most advanced throughout all of the val'gara and are definitely the strong point of the Sentinel's offense, they are extremely volatile and dangerous and are what makes the Sentinel the Val'Gara's Doomsday Weapon.

Anti-Evo Cannon: A blast cannon that is intangible and has no physical conussive force, however it has a certain magical/psionic quality to it that forbids the repair of mechanics or the healing of organics, the radius of the blast is approximately 24 miles on flat ground and has an effective time of about 24 hours as well. The effects of the anti-evo cannon are felt by man-creature-machine and forbid evolution, or upgrade of any kind for the alloted time.

Anti-Energy Recollection Beam: A single ray that has certain sort of singularity effect to it that allows it to pull in energies of any sort, be it particle beams, anything that is not physical matter such as missiles, bombs, etc are pulled into it. The anti-energy recollection beam, unlike the antievo cannon has a HIGH concussive factor and major cutting power, simply because anything that is pulled into the beam increases the intensity of the ray.

Anti-Magic Array Blast: The AM AB is a semi-passive explosion that occurs ground-level, with only the concussive force of an array of carpet bombs, the Array Blast disperses into a nebulous cloud instantaneously that circulates and depletes any sort of magical base, be it mana or otherwise. The Nebula may be recollected and studied upon, normally given to the Leviathan vessel as a sample so that the magical properties may be diagnosed. The mana can also be converted into raw bio-force if sentinel chooses to, which powers sentinel's bio-reserve and crystallic chambers in the long run.

Anti-Reality Shifting Beacons: The beacons are fired out from sentinel and create a radius of stagnant reality. No warp, no reality altering, it is highly detrimental to stop quantum physic traps and existential abilities. It quickly establishes a safe-zone around Sentinel for if they're under a siege by some reality-tampering opponent.

IBP (Ionized Bioforce Particle) Gatling Gun: Multiple blasts consisting of highly-ionized bio particles that completely fray electronics. This is particularly used against shields as it's so effective in disrupting most sorts of electronic/psionic based shielding.

Cataclysmic Matter Converter: The staple and signature attack of Sentinel, this is what makes Sentinel the doomsday weapon of the Val'Gara. The sentinel fires a large blast of constantly unstable bio-force. This blast is able to convert solid matter into bio-force due to the constant decay of the bio-particles which effect matter, itself. This attack is generally used against large bodies, such as planets, which allows mass-harvesting for the Sentinel, this is a substancial amount of bio-force that the Sentinel may return to the bio-sun Sal'chazzar.

Thermal Tentacles: The large tentacles on Sentinel's body that are capable of regenerating are able to absorb thermal, and radioactive, energy and convert it into raw bio-force.

Climate Altering Destructive Nebula: A massive cloud that is released from Sentinel within the atmosphere, once the nebula is released it quickly disperses allowing the Sentinel to control the climate and atmospheric pressure of a planet or anything that is terraformed and has climate/weather or even atmosphere.

Shields, it is imperative that the Sentinel is largely protected by various shields, because it is the main source of sustinence for Colossus, therefore, each Sentinel is highly guarded by a variety of Defenses.

Psionic Shield - this is a shield created by psionic energy, a mental blockade that works by Avatar Sentinel, himself. The psionic shield is very effective on intangible elements such as particle beams, etc, it is able to also stop psionic manipulation or telepathic attempts. The downside is that it puts so much mental stress on Avatar Sentinel, and if too much (which rarely happens) the Psionic shield will be shut down momentarily.

Firewall - An extremely powerful technological buffer that blocks most known programs, however, in the incident that a Val'Gara firewall is breeched one of the viruses, or a default generic virus, from leviathan will be released into the technomatrix, and any outside sources.

Electromagnetic Shield - This shield allots full control over the electromagnetic spectrum, if needed it can also bend light or jam radars to create a very effective cloak/radar jammer. It can also act as a shield to particle based weaponry as well as projectiles. This is run solely through the crystallic chamber.

Phase Shield - a shield that absorbs energy attacks in real space and stops attacks outside space/time or phasing attacks by crossing phasing singals, if a missle is fired and phases outside space time and the phase shield intercepts it, it will reemerge conglomerated with various other objects and attain it's mass and matter, thus it will lose it's destructive capabilities.

Kinetic Shield - a shield that stops any force that brings forth kinetic energy off of it's attack, such as physical projectiles and missles, this also works as an extremely effective inertial barrier.

AP Shield - This shield directly links attacks that are thrown into it to the anti-plane it is like a constant warp stasis, and it is an absolute defense, if needed. However if the beacons are deployed it will be turned off or forced offline.
