Tessa watched him slip a drawing to one of the other patients and then continue on to draw yet another person. Her eyebrow raised a bit but she just continued to watch. "You seem distracted. Do you like him?" Her new nurse liked to ask personal questions and she hated that. She was..to sweet. She reached out to pat Tessa's hand but wasn't fast enough to keep up with how quickly Tessa moved away.

"I find him...Interesting." She answered, glancing sideways at the woman. Looking at her face for a moment, she sighed and turned to face her. "Listen. I know you come from a happy family with tons of children and you are used to the whole...Physically touching your young ones to comfort them." The nurse opened her mouth to ask how she had known about her family but Tessa just shook her head and continued. " I, however, am not one of your family. I HATE being touched...." There was a pause and then she added as a lie. "I figured all that out before you put this stupid thing on my forehead."

Drawing her legs back up to her chest, she returned to sitting with her chin on her knees, watching that boy as he drew.
