Leon had left the dropping off to the other soldiers, he didn't have the need to be a tour guide for the day, they all seemed like relatively intelligent people. He told his men to take the day, and he retreated to the confines of the HQ. He wasn't really feeling up to the effects of the day, he hadn't really done his job, with a few of the people running off in fear and others walking, he didn't really even give a ride to those that came in, really he just felt useless at the moment. He sat at the table in the squad room and cracked a beer open, taking a real hearty swig of it, then setting it on the table listening to the static noises around the room, the tv, and a slight hum from the radio that sat in the room also. The guys would have a good time tonight at least, he knew that Jasen and Matt would end up at a bar somewhere, and be stumbling drunk by the morning. Cait, well she would do whatever it was she did, the one member on his team that he had no idea, what she did on her free time, she was just happy about whatever it was she did. Keely would come through that door sometime soon and sit and talk with him, and drink with him, but would eventually go out with the guys and have a good time.

He killed his beer and lit a smoke, walking about the squad room, looking at the suits they used for spacial exploration and combat, they doubled very well, room, maneuverable, and lightweight in a sense. He went to the fridge for another beer, thinking about the day, getting slightly angered by the thoughts of Crip and Ace.

Jasen had gotten the memo via com radio, it was a great thing to hear, that the rest of the day was his. He was standing by the burger joint, where he had escorted Katrina a while back it seemed, where had she gone to? He looked about, thinking of what the plans were going to be tonight, he knew one thing, he was gonna hit that bar up early and well, yea. He had seen a lot of interesting people over the years that he had served under Leon and it seemed that a lot of the women that they had escorted in had at least a small interest in the men of the squad, he recalled a man even trying to get to know Cait, but that hadn't turned out the best. A shiver ran over him over the thought of the screams of that man when he had tried to touch the girl. He started walking around the market area, finding the bar where he usually met up with Matthew at, and Keely would be by sometime later. She always seemed to have a plan to do something before she met up with them, but Jasen really hadn't had a clue to what, but that didn't matter, as he walked into the bar. A little uproar of commotion sounded as he entered. Yes he was known here, and he could be the heart of a party, but tonight he just wanted to drink and have a somewhat mellow time. He looked about the area and got himself a drink and went on wandering the crowds of people talking here and there. Running into Matthew a few moments later at a table where the guy had drank a few pitchers already and had a little company from the fellow frequenters of the bar.

Keely had stopped by the door of the squad room. It was where Leon went to think, she had known about this little place for awhile now catching him coming here at odd hours and also when things went wrong. What as he blaming himself for this time? She took a deep breath and walked through the door and into the room, getting a beer tossed at her from Leon a moment after she walked in. She caught it and blushed slightly, had he known that she was going to show up? Was she that set on trying to keep his head on strait? She looked at the beer and cracked it open, sipping at it as she looked across the room, eventually taking a seat at the table, and shuffling the deck of cards that sat on it. The cards had been set there for those days where there wasn't anything going on and everyone had nothing better to do, right now they were a comfort, something to play with while sitting in the silence of the room.

Leon looked up at the sound of cards shuffling and a smirk came across his face, she was nervous again, and trying to comfort him and herself. He walked over to the table taking a seat across from her. "Blackjack." He simple stated, she looked at him with a confused look but dealt the cards out and began to play. "This one hand will give me the answer I'm looking for." He looked at his cards, a 6 and a 5. He looked to Keely as she looked over her hand, her face not giving away what she had. "What do you mean, this hand will make up your mind?" She asked a little confused, but also interested on his thoughts. Maybe he wasn't so torn up over the events of the day, even so though she still felt like they failed, hell one of the girls would never be the same after the attack.

"Hit." Leon said and Keely slid a card to him. He looked at it and shook his head. "Again." She slid him another card. "Ok." He flipped his cards. 5, 6, Ace, 8. 20. He smiled pleased with himself. She looked at the hand and smirked at it. "So what did you mean, this hand would make up your mind?" She flipped the cards, blackjack. Leon leaned forward to see and slammed a hand down on the table playfully. "Damn looks like I'm headed to the bar." He stood up and headed for the door, leaving Keely at the table with a shocked look on her face. This was the first time he'd be out there with the guys.

Keely drove Leon sat on the passenger side, looking out the window. Was this the right thing to be doing, who knew, but it was a change of pace. The doors to the bar opened, with a cheer as Keely walked in but went silent for a moment when Leon stepped in after her. Was this the affect he had on people? Serious and no fun. Well he didn't want that going on he knew that people thought of business when they saw him, but he didn't want to be known as all work and no play. The crowd parted as he walked back to the table where the others sat. He got greeted by his men and ordered a drink, while the crowds hustle started up again, slowly. It probably wasn't a good idea to be here, but locking himself away from other people wasn't a great idea either.
