Serena hadnt seen her in over a year, so she immediately wondered what Nate had said. She looked at Chuck with disgust and gave the drink back. "Leave me alone Chuck." She walked off and towards the elevator after telling Blair's mother and the designer that she couldn't stay.
Nate had walked off, following Serena. He stopped her before she got on. "Serena, wait!" "What did you say to Blair?" "nothing I swear." "I'm supposed to believe that?" "It's the truth." to be quite frank, Serena looked more hurt and sad, than angry. She looked around for Blair. "Listen, there's a reason I left." "Yeah, but you're back now." "Get this straight, I didn't come back for you. No matter what messed up Blair and I's relationship, I care about her. You're her boyfriend and she loves you." with that she looked once more for Blair and then turned to enter the elevator, Nate, standing there speechless.
